Everyone knows Feist "1, 2, 3, 4" is YOUR 2007 Song Of The Year Because IPod said so. In all seriousness: Anthony Hamilton "Do You Feel Me" That song just came out, and I'm getting a soul jazz feel to it. Probably one of the best pure song songs I've heard all year. Just music for your ears.

I could see Joe being Sting's partner and "stealing" the pinfall from Sting to win the title. Could set up a Sting/Joe match and a Nash/Angle match. It wouldn't make sense to have yet ANOTHER title change this close to oneanother, but TNA apparently doesn't believe in long title reigns. -
I'm up to the 10th episode of this season at my job. I didn't bother watching last season, and boy did I realize the error of my ways. Truly one of the best shows on TV IMO.

christ...that movie was on today, I forgot how horrible it was. I liked "Class Act" better! "Damita, I thought you was gonna play with my frog?" -
Go back and watch the earlier episodes of The Fresh Prince... You can spot Will lip-synching the other characters lines as they say it... He definately came a long way from that. But he's got a long way to go to even get close to Denzel IMO.

That's a helluva drug...

That's kind of where I'm at with Denzel. Don't get me wrong, he's probably one of the few actors where I'll see his name in a movie trailer, and almost for certain make the trip out to the cinema. It's just, I don't see anything left for him to prove. He's played everything from the love interest to the corrupt cop and everything in between and I just don't see any "wow" factor left aside from his awesome trademarks (the Pacino yelling speeches, etc.) It's like, where's your inspiration as an actor, after you've pretty much covered all ground in a certain category? I'm echoing sentiments from my acting coach, but still, it serves a good point. He's done the Action/Drama role, and fucking perfected it, and maybe that'll be his niche from now on. I just look up to him so much as an actor, I don't want him to be typecast. However, if he's rocking shit in his roles, maybe it won't be such a bad thing. We'll see when American Gangster comes out. Maybe he could take the DeNiro/Pesci route and drift off into comedy...

I haven't been thoroughly excited for a movie (aside from the upcoming) Iron Man) in a long time and this movie looks to be all kinds of awesome. Can't miss with Ridley Scott, Denzel, Crowe, and from the looks a pretty good supporting cast (Common's pretty impressive from what I've seen. He's slated to be in a movie with Keanu Reeves my job is working on.) Am I the only one that feels that Denzel has pretty much reached his pinnacle of dramatic roles and is starting to rehash (see Pacino)? Hopefully, I am proven wrong with American Gangster.

Why do you still post in/read this folder?

This board mirrors WWE in almost every way. -
The Rock is the farthest thing from a ring techncian, you don't need to be a techncial wrestler to be a great wrestler. The Rock was more of a brawler style with loads of enegry and a pretty wide moveset. When The Rock was in the ring, he was always able to tell a story, it just wasn't a wrestling match. Everyone of his peers even great techncial wrestlers like Guerrero, Angle, Jericho, all commented on how intense and how great Rock was in the ring. I'll take their words over most people who haven't even been in the ring, because I believe their opinions is more valid. The Rock's intensity, energy, and understanding on how to make a great match far exceeds his techncial wrestling. ::Gasp:: We do not speak of that name around here.

It seems like whatever Lance Storm writes in his commentary blog, TNA creative looks at it as something NOT to do. Maybe he should talk about how great they're doing. -

Hey KOAB, you ever venture to the Lakewood Center Pacific Theatres? I heard it's gotten atrocious over the years. Even to the point that SHERIFF's show up to monitor crowds instead of security... DURING THE WEEK (as well as weekends). -
I favor Kanye West more, because it just seems like he honestly has a passion for music. It seems he doesn't just go out and sample a Supreme's record and call it a day, but he actively seeks out records some people probably haven't heard (or forgotten) and adds a spin to them that nine times out of ten, actually works. His album(s) will be remembered for years, whereas 50 cent treats music like business and because so, will have a generational affect. I don't think he'll have the same replay value 20 years from now that Kanye will have. I still have trouble tolerating "In Da Club" after it's been played so much, and it's only 4 years old.

I saw a screening back in April, and Chris Jericho was nowhere to be found. Christian Cage on the other hand, does have a cameo. Which one? The wrestler. Look for him in the airplane sequence, if you go see it. It's a rental for sure, unless they made alot of changes. After the screening, they kept a few of us (about 12, I was included) and asked us questions about the film. I told Davis (Director, Michael Davis) that if Monica Bellucci's name in the film is Dairy Queen and she's a "milky" stripper, there should be no reason why she isn't topless the whole film. Everybody agreed. So I hope he fuckin' added that.
