I agree with one thing, Looking back on his Slim Shady days, while his raps are entertaining, most of them are pretty simple. Now aside from that, you OBVIOUSLY haven't heard anything eminem has done since 02 besides radio singles. It's safe to say Eminem has established himself as one of the GOAT's. If not THE GOAT. He is a better rapper today than he was yesterday, he may have put out a lackluster album, but his rhymes are 10x better than they ever were. Even people who hated encore recognize that his raps are great, he just made poppy/stupid songs. Saying Eminem isn't a great rapper is like saying Ashlee Simpson is the best female vocalist on earth. It's just very stupid. For me it's like Ludacris, I've hated everything Ludacris has done since Word of Mouf, but I recognize the man is a pretty damn good rapper, he just makes stupid songs, for the most part.

Violent J raps about the devil and hell as does Esham, but J never glorifies that stuff like Esham does. Not saying I have a problem with Esham for that, Jamie Madrox back in HOK days as Mr. Bones was more satanic than Esham I think. It's just rap music, it doesn't bother me. But Violent J and ICP have never been like that. They rap about hell on occasion but never mention that kind of stuff as being positive. They always have mentioned those kinds of things as a negative consequence to actions in life. Hence the whole Carnival = god stuff. So when J signed Esham to Psy he said he couldn't rap about that stuff anymore like it was cool. And Esham changed. Esham even made a song about changing his style called "Redemption" it's lame and totally puts off the vibe that Esham is selling out to J. Plus Violent J's verse on the remix of "Everyone" off the Acid Rain cd says esham is switching his style. Esham destroyed himself, he changed like crazy for psychopathic, I'm sure he was asked to, but he did it. I know Violent J said there would never be a NATAS album released on Psy cuz it had too much to do with satan. The last time they almost left, Monoxide said he was in contact with Eminem about being put on Shady records. They are buds from way back, and plus before Dre signed Eminem he was looking at signing Twiztid, but thought they were trying to hard to be black, back when they said "n*gga" in every verse.
