When it comes to Jeff Jarrett, ignoring the facts is a must for any fan of his.
-
Yeah, but he did draw a hell of a lot of money, so it's somewhat forgivable, unlike others that could be mentioned. ***coughjeffjarrettcough***

After i claimed recently that i would never purcahse another CD, I roke down and bought Esham "A 1 Yola". I bought it cuz it comes with a DVD with videos for every song on the album. And i will say this, if you want to see to lowest-quality music videos you've EVER seen, i highly recommend this. It's putrid, it's so bad, it's comical.

It's impossible for Shelton to not work out and look like that. The rest of the interview is Kayfabed, I assume he just threw that in there.

technically it's Mayerlution. classified as regression.

I would have seriously thought he still owned a network if it wasn't for someone saying he didn't a while back on here, mikesc i think. This was just confirming my fear, it kinda feels like all hope is lost now for another monday night war. I feel dead inside.

Orville Brown was already named the first National Wrestling Alliance Champion when Lou Thesz was awarded the belt because Brown was in a car accident preventing him from defending the title. Very True. Orville Brown was in the Midwest Wrestling Association and was their champion at the time the NWA was formed. They kept him as champion, and just changed the name of the belt to the NWA belt. -
But it's "his own money" $10,000 would be a bit insane. This isn't suppossed to be a company sponsered contest.

Yeah Angle was going to throw Austin off the bridge. When he said he would do it, Austin I think was blindfolded and he acted as if he threw him and Austin got scared. Angle ripped the blindfold off and Austin was in a tiny bath Ya he pushed him into a kiddie pool. I never understood, how Austin could think he got threw off a bridge, when he simply sat down in a pool of water. I wonder if they use the same bridge everytime? I'd like to see another bridge angle in the near future, just as a running gag. -
Waiting for Spike to decide might hurt TNA in the long run. Does Ted Turner have any say about what goes down on his networks anymore? I thought he couldn't broadcast a wrestling program until 2005. And he couldn't have interests or own a wrestling company until 2006. It was all part of the sale of WCW. But i don't know if this is true.

On second thought, RedJed. Jarrett over Styles clean might be too much. I think they could have Jarrett screw Styles. And then have Tenay play up the fact nobody will beat Jarrett as long as he keeps getting help. I mean REALLY play up the fact Jarrett will continue to screw people. In the meantime Brown becomes #1 contender. Turns on Jarrett. Jarrett and his flunkies(whoever is heel) beat Monty weekly. Dusty Rhodes says he tired of Jarrett always screwing people and that EVERYONE is banned from ringside or they get fired. Monty declines the stip...saying he's got a problem with all of em not just Jarrett. Dusty says whatever. Have Tenay play up that Monty didn't make a good decision declining the stip. Now there is no way brown can overcome Jarrett and the Heels by himself. Monty survives all the Run-ins and destroys everyone. Jarret goes for the guitar shot. Monty kicks him. Jarrett tucks the guitar under his right arm so Monty can't get it. Monty Irish whips Jarrett. Hits the pounce on Jarrett through the guitar he is holding. Guitar explodes. Jarrett's dead. Monty wins. I like the idea of Rhino too.

Do you think he ever wears them. Or does he just no sell 'em.

Great Title for this thread. We might as well just adopt mexico as a state. But keep the borders up!

If AJ goes over cleanly, that wastes Jarrett's title reign. Since there isn't much build up for this Styles match wouldn't it seem anticlimatic. If they chose to go with Monty, that would be an angle that has been brewing for months. I agree that Monty could have been built up just as good without turning him heel. But I think people will be quick to accept a face monty again. I think Monty turning on Jarrett and winning the title is the big pay off here.

I don't understand why people don't like the Maximos. I have only seen a handful of their matches, but i always thought they were ok. They gotta be better than the bashams or the shane twins. -

I loved the Funeral for Austin the week after. Favorite Quote from that fued.... "Thats Stone Cold's PERSONAL PROPERTY!!" - Jim Ross - referring to the smoking skull belt. -
I don't like Jay-Z much at all. but i'd give him a top 10 nod. and yes ahead of nas.

I agree, I think Jarret should defend it more. It pretty much too late for that. Thats why Styles should put Jarrett over cleanly. This makes Jarrett look strong going into a match against Monty Brown. Monty beats him cleanly. Then they have a rematch, Monty escapes through some botched interference. Then AJ vs Jeff for the #1 contender and Jeff can put him over cleanly, setting up AJ vs Monty. Then Jarrett can stay away from the title for awhile. Maybe he can put Daniels over. I love Jarrett, but he doesn't need to become 4 or 5x NWA champ by 2006.
