Battle-Dome-esque I agree with less matches. They get stale overtime. I might want to see Edge vs Benoit if i didn't see it a million times this year already.
-
The Haircut was probably prompted by steph mcmahon. she used to be big into that.
-
I agree, but i think that if JBL was slowly built in the mid-card over half a year then gaining momentum as he developed his stable. Then he could break through to the main events. He got over eventually during his title run. I think he's a good enough character they could have had him that over before the WWE Championship. That way people wouldn't have been respecting him half way through the reign, but maybe thye would have taken him as a serious main eventer from the beginning.

Wow quite a detailed list. I'll expand mine a little bit. Randy Orton - Too Soon - They should have turned him face...only to have him fall short of the title. Then turned him back heel around this time. I think after that he could have been ready. Batista - Too Soon/Never - If they didn't screw up on the orton thing. They wouldn't have to resort to 2nd choice Batista. Batista IMO would have been about the 6th choice. Bradshaw - Too Soon - Amazing character. should have had a couple midcard fueds to elevate him to main event status. That would have made his title reign even more a success at least at the beginning. Brock Lesnar - Too Soon - Beating Rocky Cleanly and then putting him over everyone on the roster, was a horrible idea. He could have still been a monster without winning the title so fast. In hindsight...he should have never won it. But at the time he was over enough. They could have done so many different things with lesnar to make him look like a monster without having him become champion just months after his debut. Vince McMahon - Never - For obvious reasons. Sgt. Slaughter - Never - They could have had the fued go down just a easily and with as much heat, had slaughter not won the title. Hulk Hogan - not 93, 02 Undertaker - not 02 - too many switches. main event SS 02 should have been Trips vs Rocky. Bob Backlund - not his last one ? year - i like the owen idea. i think that would have added way more heat to the angle. Psycho Sid - Never - A big waste. upper-midcard at best. Kane - Too Soon - I'm not oppossed to him being champion, just his 24 hour reign was a waste. Mankind - No to his last reign. Austin then to HHH at summerslamm. 24 hr waste. Triple H - not this last vacancy then get the title back thing. nor the job to vince then get the belt back. Big Show - Too Soon - no on the first reign. but i think he should have been champ at some point. Kurt Angle - Maybe Too Soon on his first reign.

i can see them letting him go. They've jobbed him beyond belief.
-
I'm not sitting through that.
-
he sould just use a real DVD. WWE i'm sure deemed it too dangerous.

Trips doesn't have Hell in a Cell matches...they deserve their own name. Trips vs. Kevin Nash = Boring in a Box Trips vs. HBK = Oversell in a Cell And i pray to god the poster is fake. It looks fake.

Ya Gail Kim needs carried. Whats with TNA always saying AJ Styles competed in the olympics? I assume they mean he was in the olympic trials or something. Gymnastics i'm guessing.

I've seen ICP and other Psychopathic artists too many times to count. I went to the gathering in 2001 and they had JCW in a 6 sided ring. Chris Candido vs. Breyer Wellington. = **** time limit draw
-
I can't think of anyone who would make sense as special ref for that match.
-
Mike, I agree on all those points, except these. He draws my money. As far as a major draw...no he isn't. I think he gets very real heel heat. I agree to disagree on those points. I concede on the other points. It was fun while it lasted Mike. You're MOSTLY right. Jarrett does more damage than good. As far as being a heatless jobber, thats wrong. Anyways, good fight. I could go longer, but obviously you tire of this. I never tire of defending THE TRUTH ABOUT JEFF JARRETT! After saying that, Mike...I give. *taps out*
-
Exactly as i thought. you are that blind. and know that little. Your welcome for the lesson. And good post RedJed. That one post made more sense than all of MikeSC ramblings about random wrestlers and how heels aren't over.
-
Thats wrong. obviously he did connect with them at one point. Shamrock was very over at many points in his career. He was in the main event scene for a while. Jarrett was over before then. Jericho did nothing for Chyna, nothing against Jericho, nobody could make chyna compelling. jericho was the heel and was cheered way over chyna. Jarrett was still just as over. Just not a babyface..cuz shock...he played the heel. He got cheered the night after owen died, then he went back to heeling. Being a heel doesn't make you unover. Again clearly you think being a babyface means you are over. And being a heel is unover, cuz all those you named were babyfaces at one time in 99. I wasn't aware of a fued between the two. I'll have to look it up. I don't recall that. Could you refresh my memory. Or just name 5 more over heels in 99. When did anyone do that in WCW in 2000? Hogan couldn't save WCW in 00. Nobody could have. It's not Jarrett's fault. He was one of the few fresh things in WCW at the time. To say Jarrett doesn't create heat and has never done so, shows how much you really know about wrestling in general. Just to clarify i know Jarrett isn't the most over man ever. I know he's not the best World Champ ever. Not even close. I'm not as blind as I pretend to be. But apparently you are. I was joking.
-
he's looking mighty RED in that picture.
-
In his mind he will. And then he'll come at Vince with insane demands, forcing them to shelve Hogan/HBK. which means Hogan goes over Batista for the World Title and then refuses to drop it to anyone except for The Undertaker.

you're right those spoiler gimmicks sound HORRIBLE!

I saw trish trying to move his hand right when he picked her up. He did it on purpose. and kudos to vis for that. Much like meng and madusa in wcw.
-
nah, it's fact.

Hogan will get ALL credit.

Power Tripping as a Library Security Guard = The Lamest thing i've ever heard.

Edge vs Benoit...how many times must we see this?
-
You're right, our definitions of over are way different. Clearly Shamrock was very over, ask anyone. After his little Jericho fued he became less over. You're right about Goldust 99 reign. I forgot about that. Jarrett had more heel heat in his match with Chyna than Jericho did. Jericho was getting a babyface reaction when he was suppossed to be heel. What does that have to do with anything? He lost the sympathy cuz he was a heel. he was babyface for one night after. JJ more over than edge during that time JJ more over than Val Venis during that time. JJ more over than X-Pac at the time. JJ equal to D'Lo at that time. And When did Jarrett fued with the Undertaker???? I seriously don't remember that. read a few posts back. He was a top 5 heel in the company in 1999. He should have been pushed up the card. Jericho is in that same posistion right now. Vince just thinks certain people should be mid-card for life i guess. Although they prove themselves to be main event talent. Jeff proved himself in WCW. He was also very over in WCW. He should have been included in the invasion, it would have been 10x better. It's not a crush. It's a fact. Jeff Jarrett is a world class World Champ.
