Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.

Clearly the culprit was the committee of NWA Promoters headed by Jim Crockett Either that, or Muhammad Hassan -
The families DVD is out, but I skipped it in favor of the Ladder Matches DVD for now, since I figured it was probably just a lot of kayfabe nonsense like the Managers DVD that came out last year.

Not sure who created this, but either way, it's pretty genius.

This place still exists, although the changed the name to "Smiles" about 7 or 8 years ago. I haven't been there in a few years, although I always keep meaning to stop in. Last time I was there, the arcade selection was smaller, but still pretty decent comparatively.

I've got some vacation time to burn off this summer, and I'm thinking of taking a trip to Vegas. The advice I've gotten so far is mostly stay in a hotel downtown and take the bus to the strip, as it's much cheaper. Travelocity is offering me a package for round trip plane tickets and 4 nights in a hotel downtown for 560, which seems like a good deal to me. Anyone have any advice on how to save money or stuff to do while I'm down there?
-
Thanks for the advice guys. I brought it up to my father tonight, and now he wants to come along, which may be a bit of a bummer for the trip, but it'll probably save me money in the long run.

What killed arcades were those fucking ticket redemption games. That's one mankinds all time greatest money making scams, and killed Arcades completely when operators realized then could make buy three skee ball machines, a basketball game, and one of those games where you have to stop the moving light on the right spot, for the price of one new Arcade game, and make a zillion more dollars to boot.

Spending cash isn't too much of a problem, I just don't want to spend too much on the trip itself, since I know there are deals to be had.

Draft Predictions or who would you liked to see moved?

ECW is Velocity at this point, so get rid of Punk, Burke, and Cor Von, and add Boogeyman, The Highlanders, Venis, Viscera and whatever other jobber fodder is left. Punk, Burke, Umaga, Jeff Hardy, Carlito, Kenny, Nitro and Santito on Smackdown Put Cor Von, Thorn, Finlay, MVP, Regal, Taylor, Rey, and Mark Henry on RAW -
I just started watching the Boston Garden show. Can anyone explain to me what the deal is with these arena shows that have such pointless matches that go on forever? Seriously, the opener of this show is Bob Orton vs Billy Jack Haynes, and it's been going for literally 20 minutes now...
-
The fact of the matter is that ECW is essentially Velocity at this point, there's no need for useful talent that might have a future in the company to be wasted on there.

I'd say move Punk, Carlito, Jeff Hardy, Johnny Nitro, and Umaga to Smackdown MVP, Finlay, Cor Von, Regal, and Kennedy to RAW WGTT, Eugene, Masters, and Boogeyman to ECW

Your signature is just a little obnoxious and large, don't ya think?

I don't know why eveyrone is so hasty to start talking TNA already. I still believe that RVD is going to do a deal similar to Jericho and Big Show, lay low for a while, while still being visible enough to keep your name out there, and then eventually come back either full time or, as will likely be the case with Big Show, sporadically for big money matches.

Media Matters is a left wing smear site, that's really not up for debate. Again, you feel the way you do, and that's fine, I'm not trying to make you change your beliefs. I on the other hand need more than some dubious facts from a site that has been known to misrepresent pundits and politicians that don't agree with their liberal agenda.
-
Whatever, I'm not going to argue with whatever liberal smear blog you copied and pasted that from, that more then likely took whatever he was saying out of context anyways.

Yes, there are most certainly some very clear instances where Bill has done this to guests, but it FAR from the norm. Anytime bill ever does this to a guest they are either A. Lying, B. Not answering questions, or C. Ranting and raving with no discernible point or purpose. I don't know why people give O'Reilly such a bad rap, he's probably the most fair guy on television right now whether you love him or hate him, and I'm not sure whether that says something about Bill O'Reilly, or Television Journalism as a whole, but whatever. If you really believe that then you need to watch more shows. Bill sits there and makes things up on a regular basis. One time I heard him say that abortion should be illegal because it can NEVER ENDANGER THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER. That is not opinion, it is a flat out INCORRECT statement. O'Reilly is a liar, a propagandist, and has no business being on television presenting himself as being anything resembling fair or balanced. Abortion should be illegal because it can never endanger the life of the mother? That doesn't even make sense, and doesn't sound even slightly correct. O'Reilly has been fairly consistent with his stance on abortion, only for rape and when life of the mother is endangered. What he's rallied against so viciously over the years is late term abortion which is something entirely different.

Yeah, you're right, I have Vengeance 2003 not JD, my bad.

See, this is why I don't even bother arguing here at all. Most people just resort to making smart ass comments rather then intelligent replies.

My 24/7 Just Updated for Today What's New: Legends: Razor Ramon Coliseum Video Pedro Morales vs. Randy Savage Pedro Morales vs Ken Patera Pedro Morales and Andre the Giant The Big Ones: WWF At MSG 12/19/77 WWE Backlash 2003 (In 2 Parts) WWE Royal Rumble 2007 TV Classics: MNW 1/20/97 NWA Wrestling 5/24/85 WWE TNT 11/15/85 WCCW 12/7/82 ANd some more stuff under shorties Let me agree with bitching about all the crappy shows from 2003. I have the entire set of DVDs from that year that I got when FYE closed them out for 10 dolalrs each buy two get one free last year. You assemble them so that the picture aligns and says 2003 on the spine, it's pretty neat.

I see Pirates 3 suffering the same fate as Matrix 3. While the second film printed money for Disney, most of the people I spoke with at least, were not satisfied with the film. It lacked the wit and humor of the first, and was overly long with numerous pointless, unnecessary sequences that could have easily cut the film down to 2 hours or less. It also lucked out with a perfect release date where it was the only film out at the time people wanted to see, and there was nothing else on the horizon for the rest of the summer. Although I do like the trailer for this movie, it hasn't convinced me that it has fixed the problems from part 2. This movie is even longer than part 2, clocking in at nearly 3 hours. If they can keep the pace up for that long, then great, but I really don't think they will. So in short: It'll make money, but not the kind of money last years movie made.

Any of the people who preach "tolerance" for Islam, but then cry foul the second anyone utters the name Jesus outside the confines of a church? Okay, but you didn't really answer my question. Any examples? You need to look no further then the numerous lawsuits the ACLU has filed over the years against the free demonstration of Christianity over the years, while at the same time suing employers because they won't accommodate someones need to roll out his prayer mat during work six times a day and pray to Mecca. I don't have the time right now to research specific examples, but if you want, I'll get back to you on it. In the mean time, Wiki George Soros, it's a start, and although he's not the most unbiased source on the subject, Bill O'Reilly's last book is mostly about this same issue as well.
