    confirmed rumble matches

Let's see, off the top of my head for the Rumble RAW: Carlito, Viscera, RVD, Chavo, Kane, Shelton, Triple H, Mudoch, Masters, Big Show, Michaels, Flair, Snitsky, Conway, Helms Smackdown: Lashly, Sylvain, Orton, Mercury, Nitro, Simon Dean, Daivari, Boogeyman, JBL, Benoit, Hardy, Orlando Jordan, Psichosis, Super Crazy and then Mark Henry beats up Paul London or Kendrick or someone and takes their spot.
  2. A friend of mine got hooked on this show via the Kevin Smith connection, and as a result got me to start watching. While overall, I really don't like the show for a veriety of reasons, I do find it oddly compelling in a car crash that you can't turn your eyes away from. The acting, especially on the early epsiodes, is wooden, with the kids being unable to convey any real emotion. While I do dig their attempt to try and run with storylines that teenagers might be able to relate to, most of the time they come off as being either dull, or ludicrous. Maybe I was totally out of the loop in High School (which I actually was), but I don't know personally too many of my friends or people that I was aware of who were dealing with pregnancy, sex, alcohol, hard drugs, etc. any earlier then maybe the age of 16, and even then only in the lower class urban neighborhoods, certainly not some middle class suburb in Canada. That being said, while the producers of this show seem to imply that the show is written for the 12-18 year old set in mind, I'm not too sure that if I had children of my own, I would even let them watch this, it's just not apropriate subject matter for the age group. Perhaps I'm just a bit behind, but this show seems to lump Teenagers with problems and situations that I didn't face until I was in College at least. Maybe I'm just a prude though. So anyways, despite my objections with the subject matter, I still can't seem to stop watching. What is it about this show that is so compelling>

I saw this yesterday at FYE for 16.99 but I passed. I'm more interested in reading his book.

    The Boogeyman

I'm just waiting for them to pair him up with Goldust. C'mon, you know it's bound to happen eventually.

    Your Political Beliefs

That comparison is 100% lunacy. There's a difference between two consenting adults having sexual relations and someone molesting a child. Doesn't matter, all it takes is a few bad precedents, a couple of Ninth Circuit Courts, and it becomes who are you to argue what is consenting and what isn't?

    Your Political Beliefs

Not sure if I participated in the 2003 thread, but here's mine Abortion: Only in cases of rape, incest, or in situations where the womans health is at risk. Abortion is not a form of birth control, and should not be treated as such. Free Speech- Depends on what kind of speech you mean. Morons like Fred Phelps or the Klan are free to say whatever they want, people will always see them for what they are. I'm not too down though with soem of these hardcore leftists making speeches in other countries where they talk about being ashamed from being from America, or denounce the president, despite however they may feel about him, that's not cool. Gay Rights- As far as being gay in itself goes, I could care less what you want to do, as long as you keep it in the bedroom, and you're not harming children, I could care less about whatever kinky shit you want to do. As far about legal rights, I personally feel that while they should have some sort of Civil Union type thing for insurance or legal reasons, I don't feel that they should be allowed to get married, nor do I think that it should be taught to children as being a normal lifestyle. The way I see it is this: 100 years ago, being gay was a criminal offense that you would be punished severly for, 100 years later society views it as being a normal way to live your life. Today, Pedophilia and Child Molestation is a criminal offense that you are punished severly for. 100 Years from now, whose to say that it won't be considers a normal lifestyle by society? If you condone and legitimize the actions of one group of people whom live what most consider to be an "alternative lifestyle", what's stopping people that want to have three or four wives to start asking for their rights? How about the guy that wants to marry his goat? At some point in the distant future, a relationship between an adult and an underage child could be seen as being just as valid an alternative lifestyle as anything else. Drug: Keep them all illegal. People often compare Alcohol and Marijuna as both being drugs that alter your senses, but find it hypcritical that one is legal while the other is not. My response to that is, if there were any way to ban alcohol without destroying the economy by destroying a multi billion dollar industry, then I'd be all for it. Religion: There is a god, but he judges what's in your heart, not whether or not you ate meat on a friday, whether you donated a certain tithe, or reached a certain thetan level. You can watch all the porn you want, swear, work on a sunday, whatever, as long as you're a good person at heart, then you will be rewarded at the end. Affirmative Action: Nonsense, people should be judged based on merit, not based on the color of your skin. Welfare: Welfare confuses me. Didn't we pass Welfare Reform back in the 90's that limited the amount of time you can spend on Welfare? Then why is the first and second of the month always been the busiest at the grocery stores and deli around here for as long as I can remember? Why can the family who has six kids who all speak better English then their parents afford Prime Rib, while I can't even afford to eat steak most of the time? Why is the Section 8 Housing nicer then the houses I can't afford to live in? Bah. Israel: Middle Easten politics is not my specialty at all. The entire area has already proven time and time again that they can't progress socially past the Paleolithic Era, so we might as well bomb them back to the stone age they think they live in. Foreign Policy: Confront your enemies, don't underestimate them, and don't assume the U.N., France, or anyone else is going to help you. War should be the last option, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Campaign Finance: I have no opinion on this either way. Term Limits: No opinion here either Gun Control: You criminalize gun ownership, and the only people that will own them is the criminals. If everyone owned and carried a gun, and was trained and educated on how to use it, then gun related crime and violence would go way down. Death Penelty: An easy way out for our worst scum of the earth criminals to get off. Set up labor camps in Alaska, and send all your Gacy's, Dahmer's, Bundy's, and Manson's up there to dig holes 20 hours a day. Either that or start The Running Man. Iraq: Ouch, I'm split here. I was, and still am for the war here, but I think it's definitly time to start tapering off. It's up to the cavemen to protect their own cave now, the monkeys can't rely on Cro-Magnon Man to protect them forever. THe Pledge / Prayer: The most asinine debate in recent memory. Why is it all right for someone to be offneded by someone elses religious beliefs being pushed, but it's not all right for a religious person to be offended by a non-religious person pushing their beliefs.

How many of you have actually sold

Well yeah, obviously, but I'm talking about stuff that you know for a fact is definitly worth money, like orginal Star Wars Action Figures, or hard to find Video Games.

How many of you have actually sold

Here's a tip that is definitly true. If you're selling something that you know has value to someone somewhere, like say over 30 dollars, start the bidding at 0.99, it will go MUCH higher because people will actually bid on your stuff and get into a bidding war instead of just randomly bidding on an auction at the last minute because it was started at 99.99 and no one was interested.
  12. Having an agent negotiate your contract is a pretty quick way to get blackballed from a promotion, like Jesse Ventura in 1990.

    New Girl....

I personally like the first chick myself, but what's the deal lately with preppy type guys, or any guys for that matter dating pseudo Emo Chicks? Serisouly ladies, lay off the mascara, it's one thing if you're actually doing coke, but otherwise it doesn't do you any favors at all.

On this note, is their an archive of the sleaziest wrestling stories thread anywhere? I'd love to see that again.

    Batista injured.. again

They could potentially hold up the title and give it to the winner of the Royal Rumble ala RR 1992, but logistically that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense because that wouldn't benefit RAW in any way.

    Dynamite Kid

For years I've heard from every source imaginable that Dynamite Kid is the greatest worker of all time and all that, but I recently finished watching a comp tape I got that had at least 4 different Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask matches on it, and while don't get me wrong it was very good stuff, it wasn't as impressive as I had been led to believe. I suppose when put into context, this stuff is leagues ahead of whatever nonsense WWF had Piper and Snuka doing at the time, and if you had watched Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask in 1984 when the only other wrestling you had been exposed to was seeing Hogan and JYD fight The Wild Samoans at MSG, it would have blown your mind, but that being said, compared to some of the stuff I've seen from guys like Benoit, Jericho, Eddie, Malenko, Mysterio, Etc. do in the modern era, the Dynamite Kid matches seem tame in comparison. Am I just jaded as a wrestling fan, or am I just an idiot?

    Batista injured.. again

Good lord help us if this means Transitional Champion Mark Henry. Seriosuly though where do they go from here? Have Orton lose to Benoit but upset Batista a week later to win the belt? Put Rey vs Batista in a partner vs partner situation and put the belt on Rey? JBL is way out of the main event picture no, so he's not even an option. wtf?
  18. I'm fairly confident that Blaster Master the Movie would be like the greatest thing ever. Maniac Mansion would be really bitchin' too.
  19. I'd assume that Boogeyman vs JBL will be on the card, although I'd rather see them both in the Rumble itself. Maybe they'll fight in a singles match AND be in the Rumble? I've heard Michaels vs Cena is going to be the RAW Main Event.

    Kristanna Loken In BloodRayne

Alas, this film had no press screenings for critics, but if it's any indication, at work we were informed that beside the attached trailer for Uwe Bolls next film, Dungeon Siege, that no other trailers should be played along with BLoodrayne, because no other studios want their films trailer to be shown with this piece of crap.
