Everyone pick up Mr. Driller, it rules.

I picked up a low quality bootleg a couple years ago, and man is it atrocious. Bea Arthur singing that song is the pinnacle of this horrific monstrosity.

What is the reasoning behind this? Is this a possible tryout to see how it works for future financial cutback considerations?

What movies will you be going to see in 2005?

From the couple of script reviews I read, the still yet-to-be-name Mike Judge comedy due out over the summer sounds hilarious. -
Scotty is a decent lightweight worker, his match against Dean Malenko at Backlash 2000 is likely one of the best Lightweight matches WWE has ever done. Just give him some sort of new gimmick.

That's all well and good, but if you really want to see a movie, you'd have to wait an additional month or so before it's available on PPV.

As it is, Blockbuster only gets about 15-20 copies of most new releases, anytime I ever go there, the selection is always slim pickings. I remember I was there a few weeks ago hoping to rent Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Of course, all five copies they had were out, as was just about everything else worth renting. I ended up renting "Envy" with Jakc Black and Ben Stiller I haven't rented games from them in years, but if it's still like I remember, they get three or four copies of every game, and after being rented out a few times they're scratched to hell and won't even play anymore.

Yeah, that Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannetty match was voted by PWI as Match of the Year 1993. Bret Hart vs Skinner is likely good if it's anything like their Tuesday in Texas match. Michaels vs Duggan is garbage, I've seen it a thousand times. Michaels vs Hennig is highly dissapointing. I don't imagine Michaels vs Kona Crush would be anything worth seeing either.

Im against the death penelty, it's too easy. I've always been an advocate of Alaskin slave labor camps for scumbags like Peterson. Dig hole, fill hole, repeat. 23 Hours a day for the rest of his life sounds about right.

Who would even accept the award for Owen? Bruce or Keith perhaps?

I actually just put one of these up on display in the poster case at work tonight. It doesn't look too bad up close in person.

Just get rid of all the fucking women. Im sick of the 20 minute limbo segments or lingerie contest or bra and pantie matches or whatever shit they come up with. It kills all the crowds and doesn't draw ratings. You could literally hear crickets chirping on the TV during the Diva Search segments. It's not fair to the other wrestlers that they have to work twice as hard just to get the fans into their match because they've just had to sit through some 20 minute segment with the women. People watch wrestling because they want to see wresting, not the women. You can watch porno and see women just as if not more attractive then the women in WWE. I love watching every single WWE show be it TV or PPV, as soon as the fans recognize one of the women coming to the ring, you can clearly see everyone making a mass exodus to the bathroom / merchandise table / concession stand.

On a similar note, that Submission Match at the Survivor Series show is one of the most under rated and forgotten world title matches ever. That match is awesome.

http://www.southparkstudios.com/ should have images fromt hat episode up very soon.

See, I had this ideafor a storyline a while ago. Bradshaw loses the belt, then shortly after it is revealed that his stocks plummet. He is forced to file for bankruptcy and his team of losers kicks his ass. Over the next couple of weeks they show vigenettes of Bradshaw as a homeless guy panhandling on the street. Finally he happens to hook back up with Faroq who buys him a beer and helps him get out from under the gutter.

It was supposed to come out for the 64DD, and I had heard some rumors of them doing it for Gamecube, but it's been in developmental hell for so long... Pretty much the last I'd heard of it: http://www.gamersmark.com/news/2003/03/1/2298/ I don't recall it showing up at 2K3's E3, and if it had it would have showed up by now. If it comes out and it still is worthwhile I'll be shocked. However, Kirby's Air Ride actually came out (it was originally an N64 game), so maybe there's still a chance. I think I've mentioned it here, but Mother 3 was rumored to be on the GBA, as was a Mother 1+2 compilation. My interest was revived by the topic, so I looked around a bit. One of the guys behind the Mother series, Shigesato Itoi, was quoted saying Mother 3 would be out in 2005, and Miyamoto said in Famitsu Magazine that it was still under development and would be released "soon." In addition, Mother 1+2 is currently out in Japan. Although stuff is popping up which says Mother 3 is a DS release instead, but this is largely unofficial hearsay. Mother 1+2 has been out in Japan since las year. Mother 3 is supposed to be well into development by now, but no one has seen hide nor hare of it since its original announcement, so who know. Besides, the likelyhood either of these games will make it to this country are nill anyways.

As a movie theater employee who willingly sits through all kinds of crap when he's bored simply because he doesn't have to pay, I can honestly say that this doesn't look as bad as some of the worst stuff I've seen.

I like the props being given to Norman Greenbaums timeless classic Spirit in the Sky. Truely an awesome song.
-
Well, if you think about it from a logical standpoint, in theory, since he is the champion, logic would dictate that everyone would refrain from fighting one another at the beginning of the match, and attempt to gang up on Triple H to eliminate him and then truely allow the belt to be up for grabs. Unfortunatly, this is the WWE, where all semblince of logic and things that would make sense are thrown out the window.
-
I like the part where they snort and growl at each other.
-
Yeah, RVD doesn't get much mention on this disc untill the very end. Also, Justin Credible is not seen anywhere on the DVD at all.
-
No, he's definitly featured pretty prominently, including the promo where he throws downt he NWA belt to announce the formation of ECW.

I went to Best Buy first this afternoon, but the numb nuts working told me that even though the computer says they should still have 8 more in stock, he can't find any more in the back, and there's none on the shelf. Instead I went across the street to the mall, where I picked it up at FYE. The DVD case came packaged in a larger cardboard package that included the DVD and the ECW Winter Hat. They also tossed in a flimsy regular hat that has the old school 80's WWF logo on it.
