    Make a bold prediction

John Tenta will pass setting the stage for another horrible year of premature wrestling deaths

January RAW PPV: New Years Revolution

They'd never do that untill 24/7 had a wide enough potential audience to make it worth it, and that's still many years away from happening.

    Something I've noticed about Trish.

Stacy and to a lesser extent Nidia, are flat out not wrestlers. Stacy herself has stated in the past that she has no intention of getting in the ring and working a real match like the other women. Lita should stay as far away from the wrestling ring as well. She is easily the queen of blown spots and sloppy moves.

    So...Uh...

I wonder if they'll give live results of the voting, or if you'll just vote and end up at a page that says "Thank You For Voting, Please Watch Taboo Tuesday". If they go with the latter, whose to say whether it's legit or not?

    Something I've noticed about Trish.

Does anyone really care? No seriously, no offense meant to you, but WWE/F have been pushing the women on TV since the beginning of the Attitude Era, and while the quality of the matches has increased over the years, they are still no where's near worth the 10-15 minutes they get for their shit every week. It's obvious that Vince and the bookers don't care about the women, because their storylines are full more contradictions and inconsistancies then any other. Their matches are usually very short, and only used as filler so fans can take a bathoom break in between main events on a PPV. Women should either be wrestlers or eye candy, not both. Sure, Alunda Blaze and Bull Nakano weren't quite the lookers, but they could at least go out there and put on a damn good match, and even Bertha Faye would have worked circles around any of the current WWE Divas.
  6. Is it true that the whole Max Moon character was dumped right after Royal Rumble 1993 becasue Paul Diamond was fired for having an affair with Tatanka's wife?

    Best near falls ever?

Any of the falls in the Triple H vs. TAKA match from 2000. I seriously thought Triple H was going to do the job.
  8. If the WWE doesn't rig the voting, I could definitly see the combination of Internet Smarks who really wanna see the match, and marks who just want to be amused by voting for someone they perceive to be a jobber all voting for someone like Stevie Richards. So unless WWE rigs the voting, don't count out the possibility of Jericho vsStevie. Who knows though, WWE might not even give live results of the voting, allowing them to do whatever they want without us knowing.

Definitly the Junkie chicks death in Nightmare on Elm Street 3. "Come on, just like old times. Let's get hiiiiiiiiiiigh"
  10. I've worked at this same movie theater now for 2 years now. It's not a stellar job and I don't get paid especailly well by any means, but yet it has grown on me like a cancer, and it's slowly killing me, yet I can't get away from it. I've allowed it to become more then just a part time job, it feels like it's an extension of myself. As my previous post on Social Anxiety has shown, I don't get out much. This job is more then a job, it's my social life, my main source entertainment, and just about everything else all wrapped in one. My co-workers are not just idiots that I'm forced to put up with for the sake of work. These people are my friends, they are who I turn to for guidence, wisdom, entertainment, and conversation. It's not really a job, I enjoy being there! Despite the fact that I've been offered an Interview at Circuit City, a job which pays better, would give me more hours, and provide more room for advancement, I can't see myself leaving my movie theater job, the thought of doing so just scares me to death. The worst part is, the future at the movie theater is bleak, we very well might be closed down by the beginning of next summer. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? I know the logical answer is to just just cut it off completely before it totally takes over my life, but it's not as easy as it sounds.

    Full Smackdown spoilers

PWInsider.com is reporting that Carlito Carriben Cool defeated John Cena for the US title in his debut tonight. I think except for the time Jerry Lynn beat Crash for the then worthless Lightweight title, this is the frist time a wrestler has ever won a title on his debut. *edit* Ok, you guys are right, but this is probobly the first time someone won a title that matters in their debut.

My job has grown on me like a cancer....

Yeah, well minimum wage alone in CT is 7.10, and I have gotten a few raises over the years.
  14. Even though everyone could have seen this coming, it still hits me hard. Dangerfield was a very very funny man, very likable, and he will be greatly missed.

    Triple H's Most Embarassing Loss...

Triple H's most embaressing moment was easily jobbing to Duke the Dumpster Drose in the Royal Rumble 1996 Pre-Show. The Farm match with Godwinn and Wrestlemania against Warrior are both a close second though.

My job has grown on me like a cancer....

Thanks guys. I've decided that it makes the most sense just to keep my current job, I mean I get paid 8 bucks an hour to pretty much hang out with my friends. I'd have to be nuts to give that up.

My job has grown on me like a cancer....

I'm in college now, but I'm not desperate for money, as I've saved well. Im not 100% sure about the future though. I'm not 100% satisfied with college, and Im considering perhaps taking a semester off or at the very least transferring to to a community college. I have no debt, and currently no bills. This job is my "life" in the sense that without it, I'd have no reason to get out of bed in the morning.

    Lively Discussion 9-27-04

RAW needs a complete overhaul as far as set and format goes. The incoherent theme song is terrible, and is really stale. The stage and colors, and graphics have all gone unchanged or had at the very least had just very minor changes since 1997. It's as if we're still in the Attitude Era even though it's 2004.
  22. Yeha so I'm on a college campus, and they have firewalls which impedes transfers from just about every outside source. TO make up for this, someone had the bright idea to establish a direct connect network so people could conenct to each other directly and download at lightning fast speeds (Think like 10 megs per second) anyways, I stumbled upon one guy who had easily the greatest conenction of wrestling themes ever, including the most obscure crap you can imagine. I didn't even know The Giant Gonzalez had an entrance theme! It's almost all CD quality too. It just blows my mind that someone saves this stuff, I mean where would one even get a CD Quality MP3 of Friar Ferguson's entrance music?

    WWE 24/7

I have digital cable through Adelphia, but it's real shitty, we don't even get the HBO on Demand stuff, just the regular channels, so I don't like my chances of being able to see this. It does sound great though, but I fear the effect it's gonna have on the tape trading circles.

    Bossman passes away

Another great Bossman moment, although not quite specific to him. Remember on Heat when Terri slipped a Viagra in Meats drink and he fought Bossman with a comically large erection in his trunks. He spent most of the match humping the Bossman before Bossman quickly squashed him.
