  1. Sorry I forgot to post the news story "- Kevin Nash's WWE contract expires today. It appears that WWE has offered him a role in the management team but he seems to be against it at this point. He is also considerign one last run as a tag team with Scott Hall, possibly in NWA: TNA or Japan. " credit 1wrestling

Stuff You'd Like For This Year's Rumble

The way I see it, they're gonna redo the 1992 Royal RUmble with Randy Orton playing Flair. Same ending with Goldberg as Hogan, Kane as Sid, and Orton as Flair.
  3. Anyways, I had to be at work last night, and I set my VCR to tape RAW. Whatever reason the tape decided to cut out early, so I got only half the match. Anyone have a copy of last nights RAW or preferably know where I can download the match?

Is Cena vs Big Show non-title?
  5. Living in Connecticut myself, I can tell you that Stamford is in the far, far, far southwestern portion of the state and is probobly equally far from both NYC and Hartford. I've driven by Titan Towers a few times before, it's nothing special. Just your usual run of the mill big ass office building with a lot of windows.

    Alright, What the Fuck

On the one hand, yeah Holly really isn't a good worker, and doesn't really deserve the main event spot. On the other hand, it's refreshing to see some changeup int he main event, rather then Benoit vs A-Train or Undertaker or Angle or any of the other guys we've seen him fight a million times. Im undecided on whether this is good or bad, I'll wait to see where it goes before making my decision.

    Crash Holly passes away

Meh, no disrespect meant for Crash or anything, but he was never anything more then a second rate comedy worker who couldn't make it out of the lower mid-card. He didn't make that big of a contribution to the industry, so his death won't really end up meaning that much. He will be forever destined to be nothing more then the answer to a trivia question. BTW, is it true that he was fired for threatening Brian Gerwirtz?

    WWE Bloodbath DVD

I picked up the Bloodbath Wrestlings Most Incredible Steel Cage Matches DVD tonite for 19.99 on sale at FYE. It's basically has exactly what was mentioned before, one featurette, hosted by Jonathan Coachman, highlighting various steel cage matches from over the year. Some, like Hulk Hogan vs Paul Orndorff are shown almost in their entirety, while others, like Bret Hart vs Issac Yankem, we see almost none of. Each match also contains atleast one promo or some background information from people about the match, so it's not just straightfoward all matches. In addition to the feature, there are 11 complete matches which are as follows: Bob Backlund vs Pat Patterson 1979 Jimmy Snuka vs Don Muraco 1983 Magnum TA vs Tully Blanchard 1985 Bret Hart vs Owen Hart 1994 Triple H vs Mankind 1997 (Very under-rated matched BTW) Edge vs Kurt Angle 2002 Bruno Sammartino vs Ivan Koloff 1975 Bob Backlunds vs Stan Hansen 1981 Ric Flair vs Dusty Rhodes 1986 Rock 'N Roll Express vs the Andersons 1986 Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannety 1993 I've just started watching it, and it's awesome so far. I'm glad to see WWE finally doing somethign with their video colletion. Highly reccomended to all.

Well if it makes anybody feel better

That wasn't even their last WWE mathc. They had a dark match on the Smackdown tapings the night after, but I don't remember who they fought.

    Steve Austins Book....

I picked this one up earlier this week at Wal-Mart for an expensive, but cheaper then most price of 17.86 It's brief at only 312 pages, and I'm abouthalf way through. From a smarks perspective, the book so far is somewhat of a letdown. It doesn't provide much insight, and doesn't tell us much we didn't already know. His stint in WCW is covered in about 30 pages, which basically sums up to "It was run by idiots and there was too much political BS', yeah, thanks for the insight Steve. Austin spares no bones about his feeling on Owen Hart and Chris Adams, and has a feww less then flattering things to say about both. Overall, the book is a fun read, but if you're looking for a difinitive look into backstage politics, and not just a brief summation of the mans many career highlights, then this book will dissapoint.

    Steve Austins Book....

His drinking problems, and his relationship with Debra may come later int he mook, I haven't gotten that far yet. He briefly touches on Steamboat simply saying that he was a great guy to work with. He has nothing but words of praise to say about Pillman, but he admits to having no clue at all about all the drugs and shit he was doing in secret. He said he wishes he could have done more to maybe help prevent his death, even it it wasn't directly cause by drug use.

    Steve Austins Book....

Both Austin and Jim Ross make Chris Adams out to be a lying, double crossing, asshole and neither were surpsied to find out that his attitude eventually got him killed. He lays off Owen a bit, but he does allude to the fact that he didn't really forgive Owen for being sloppy in that match and hurting Steves neck, and he does say that he went out of his way to make sure he never had to work with him again after the incident. He says that they weren't especially good friends before the match, but rarely if ever had much to say to one another after it. When Owen died, they still hadn't really spoken much and worked their issues out between each other, so Austin really doesn't say anything at all about Owens Death other then that he was sorry it had to end for him that way.

    WWE Bloodbath DVD

THe Michaels vs Jannetty match is nothing special. It was included on a Coliseum Release, I think it was Bloopers Bleeps and Bodyslams. It's nothing special, no where's near the level of their match on RAW, or even their Royal Rumble bout.
