I like Lewis Black's take on why the hell are there conventions in the first place? We know who the candidates are, so why have this big schmoz over it? Black insists that the balloon industry must have both parties by the balls with an iron clad contract or something.

Because of the hype of F/911 being a bash Bush movie, the left of the country is gonna come out in droves supporting it. However, if a high profile, right wing guy like say Sean Hannity made a documentary bashing Kerry/supporting Bush, I'd say it would be equally successful because the right would support it in droves. And don't think a movie from the right isn't far behind in the next year or so. Sad thing is I know guys like Moore and Hannity pander to the lowest common denominator of the public too lazy to research issues and just let these guys dominate their thinking. I attempt to listen to both sides and see the spin they put on issues. Then I try to wipe away all the bullshit slung on the issue to see what the heart of the matter is. I usually end up sad because both parties in the end will do little/nothing about something. Here's to DA putting down Lil' Jon as a write in vote come November.

The electoral vote indicator should be put away until after both Republican and Democrat National conventions. Both parties get a pretty good bounce in polls post national convention. This so called indicator would be best served to be pulled out sometime in mid-late September.

Taking a look at everyone's roster, I feel there is quite the balance. I like my team and felt the auction was a ton of fun.
