All of you trying to do 1-2 sentence descripts of the wrestlers and how they are on Raw are retarded. Raw has problems, but not nearly as bad as SD. SD is the show that should get a thread, not Raw.

Thank God Eric looks to be going off the show. He was starting to get stale. Now all I can wish for is WWE ween itself off of authority figure characters on their shows and just let things happen. It's too bad that the writers are too lazy and scared to try to do a show without an authority figure pushing the action.

This movie will rock the body and the party.

I am not so sure about what the Lakers actually have. Malone and Fisher are not Lakers. They are free agents. They may or may not be on the team this season. Payton is asking out now that Shaq is gone because he is not liking the chances the Lakers have for a championship. Kobe belongs in the same boat as Malone and Fisher because he is also a free agent. Odom is good. Butler is good. I am not so sure why Grant gets so much love though. He will not fair well in the West, IMO.
-
Good point, STR. The Lakers are jettisoning a coach who has 9 championships and the most dominant player at his position in basketball to appease Kobe. Whatever floats their boat, I guess. Both LA teams are probrably figuring that while they won't be championship teams, they will at least have a crowd draw with Kobe in tow.
-
Well Odom and Butler have potential. Grant is too old and banged up to be anything potentially good. I think you'll find out that Fisher was more a product of the triangle than an excellent player deserving of a big contract. Before Phil, Fisher wasn't anything special at all and he was a rookie when Kobe was. About Pippen. Pippen was a small forward, same as Walton. Pippen was never a center. The Lakers would sometimes try to steal minutes with Walton playing PF, but he is a small forward. My issue was I don't see anyone on the Lakers that can be serious optional threat after Kobe. Butler can't shoot and is more of a slasher and finisher on the break and Odom needs the ball to be effective. Something he'll have to learn to adapt to since it will be the Kobe show. (provided he re-signs with the Lakers) And yes, it would be very typical of the Clippers to jump through hoops to try to get Kobe, only to fall short. Actually, if we were to be going by Clipper Karma, the Clippers would sign Kobe, then he would turn around and get convicted in September.

That's actually a scary thing because Argentina is notorious for kidnappings. My wife studied abroad there for 6 months and I ran my phone bill through the roof contacting her weekly because of my concern of a situation like Manu is in.

Don't worry. He won't. If he tries. He'll fail.

Gay. This is all very gay.

Sounds like 2 old farts bitching about their fake fighting legacies. It's kind of pathetic when I have to tell 2 grown men, one in his late forties, the other in his late fifties, to... GROW THE FUCK UP!! I wouldn't doubt if they(Hart and Flair) are working you fucking people to try to drum up more book sales.

Back to what exactly? The playoffs? Sure. Any team with Kobe and some help around him will do that. If you think that the Lakers, minus Shaq, and with what they have now will win a championship, you are surely mistaken. They will be athletic. They will be fun to watch. They will NOT be an elite West squad anymore. Even though the trade brought them 3 decent guys from Miami, those guys have ZERO All Star appearances between them. Butler is a fine player, but also injury prone. Grant has 2 bad knees and hasn't been effective in years and Odom is one bong hit away from being banned from the league permanently. That trade was not fair for either team, but LA got the shorter end of the deal. What else does LA have? Devean George? Waste of a huge contract from 2 years ago and a player who reaped the benefits of the triangle i.e. he got open shots when Shaq got doubled. Fox is going to either retire or have his contract bought out and rightly so. Walton should turn out OK, but isn't a guy I see being Scottie Pippen to Kobe's Jordan. About Fisher. They SHOULD let him go. The guy is a glorified spot up shooter. He will hit some tough shots when he's wide open, but the man cannot create off the dribble and has very, very suspect ball handling skills. As much as Payton got burned in the Finals by Billups, Fish was looking just as lead footed. Fisher would be best suited to head to Houston so he can spot up for T-Mac and Yao because if he's asked to do things on his own in LA, his overrated game will be exposed.

Credit, wrestling observer website "Test will be undergoing neck fusion surgery soon under Dr. Lloyd Youngblood which means he'll be out of action for a year plus" Calm down now. Take a deep breath. I know this is devastating news for all of us. Please keep the laughter to a minimum.

I think the Lakers need to dump Payton in hopes of re-signing Fisher. While GS are suckers enough to take the trade Spicy has proposed, I wouldn't want Fox. He is completely worthless. If the Shaq deal goes down like it's supposed to, the Lakers will have an overage of small forwards and shooting guards with no quality power players or point guards.(unless Fisher re-signs)

Verizon usually has a web based thing called Get It Now that lets you download games and ring tones for a small fee. Once you are on GIN, you go to the ringtones section and there are several services that have ringtones. Usually the service will allow you to demo the tones to see which one or ones you want. I have 3 that kick ass and sound very much like the original songs. 1) Big Pimpin by Jay-Z 2) Knight Rider theme 3) Austin Powers theme I almost got the Godfather theme, but it was no longer available when I decided I wanted it

In ring, HHH has improved leaps and bounds of '02 and '03 HHH, but he still hogs the camera and main event storylines too much. I hate to say this, but I will. Right now, at this very moment, I'd rather see Randy Orton in main event matches and storylines than HHH for the sheer fact that he's got upside (at least now he does) and he's not HHH.

I love the song that plays after round 2 or 3 of Rocky 4. The one where Drago has the upper hand through the first half of the fight and Rocky starts his comeback. It's instrumental and done through the highlights of the fight all the way to the final round. That song rocks the party that rocks the body.

The last 5 minutes were excellent. The rest of the match was an extended headlock sequence and a gay looking spooning spot.

Miami better hope a slew of free agents are gonna want to take a small, one year deal in order to ride the Shaq express to a title a la Malone and Payton. Otherwise, this move is questionable from a Miami standpoint. They need some vets and role players to surround Shaq and Wade right now.

Duff shouldn't get credit for Cheaper by the Dozen or Codybanks because she wasn't the headliner in those. Steve Martin was for Cheaper and Frankie Muniz was for Codybanks.

Methinks wedding/honeymoon was a shot at me, since I'm the only one I can recall who got married during that draft. I, too ended up at the mercy of the auto draft, but I think some people don't get how to use the prerank setup. You have to go through all the players and rank them, if you set up a defense or kicker in the top 50, you will end up drafting one earlier than you would like. Flik, I am also inquiring about the scoring in our league. In my opinion, you should make it 1 point for every 25 yards passing, not every 10. If that is how the scoring is going to go, then guys like Manning, Favre, and Hasselbeck become fantasy monsters as opposed to the usual RB dominance. (unless that was what you were going for)
-
I agree with this. Miami should not part with 2 of their top 3 guys (Odom, Butler, Wade) to get this done. Throw in Jones and a first rounder. That, or Miami better have some under the table deals going on with key free agents to take one year deals for a chance to play with Shaq and attempt to get in on a ring.
-
Butler and Walton are about the only things to get excited about on that bench. George is a washout, Fox is too old, and Fisher will be less effective without big Shaq there to draw double teams, making Fisher's shots off a bit more with a hand in his face.
-
Excellent movie. Consistently funny throughout and the cameos were great without stealing the show.
-
While that Laker lineup isn't bad, there is no way I'd play Grant at Center. He'd be better off starting over Malone and have Malone come off the bench. I wonder if Malone and Grant have patched things up since 1999, when Malone smashed Grant in the grill and knocking some teeth out and Grant got up in Malone's face and was very upset about it both on and off the court.
-
Neither. "There's no easy way out" from Rocky 4 is the best song. That was the song during the reflection video of Rocky and Apollo shortly after Apollo died in the ring. That song just has a place in my heart as the best Rocky song. OK, that sounded a bit gay, but it's true.
