Actually, even though the seedings may not make sense, if a team that finishes as a lower seed has a better record than a higher seed that got there because of a division title, if they meet in the playoffs, the team with the better regular season record gets homecourt, not the higher seeded team. I see where you are coming from in terms of a lower seeded team getting a tougher team to play, but too bad. If you're the better team, it shouldn't matter to you who you face.

Unless Carlito starts pissing people off in the back, he'll keep getting chances because even though he sucks in ring, "they" believe he can talk his way out of things, and thus that negates actual in ring ability. Lashley is and will probrably be protected since he is seen as a homegrown product. Now if they put him in with a guy like Taker, who won't sell for him, or a chump who can't work like Heidenreich or Boogeyman, it'll expose Lashley as just another green machine. For Lashley to make it, they're going to have to go Goldberg with him and have him kill no name guys and mechanics who can make him look good. As he builds that reputation up, it won't hurt so much for a bigger name like JBL to job to him because, well, everyone would be. Again, this is all theory in how to handle Lashley. Also, Lashley must not speak more than 3 sentences or he'll also lose a ton because his voice does not match his appearance. Kennedy is in the same boat as Lashley in that he is homegrown and will get oppurtunities, except he can talk and has more experience in the ring and doesn't look as green. He's passable as a worker and should get better on the SD roster. They should avoid hot shotting him to ME status. If you ask me, I'd build him to Main Event after WM at the earliest and Summerslam at the latest.

That sounds about right. I wouldn't look any further into this beyond the tapes.

If Spike doesn't advertise the hell out of this, the rating could end up slightly disappointing since most of the audience seems to be creatures of habit with the numbers staying about the same slightly trending upwards.

I'll stay conservative and say the Prime Time Special will do about 1.2-1.3. Anything over a 1.6 should be considered a major success. Anything below what they normally do on Saturday should be seen as very disappointing. A lot of it is going to be on Spike. You figure since TUF is ending very soon, that they would want to get behind TNA even more, so this "should" be getting some advertising. Spike should push it since it's prime time and they get all the ad rev from the show.

I want to know why the Ortons weren't arrested by authorities 2 weeks ago on SD when they openly admitted to killing Taker with fire at No Mercy? Taz and Cole even acknowledged they literally killed Taker. Again, I try to suspend disbelief, but try explaining this to a person who hasn't watched WWE without sounding like a complete and total retard.

Wally may or may not play well in a contract year and he clearly still doesn't like playing with KG, who happens to be the franchise. Kandi man may or may not return to a 10 and 10 guy. Cassell being gone may hurt more than you think. While Marko is a good replacement, Marko is also just as big of an injury risk.

Prefer to be given only finish and call everything else in the ring? Lay the entire match out beforehand? I prefer just the finish and perhaps a spot or two that are essential to the story of the match and/or storyline. Like to have your promo's scripted? Or just be given a couple of bullet points, and wing the rest? Bullet points for what needs to get over. The scripted promo is what is killing promos these days. If you can't cut a promo on the fly effectively, you shouldn't have a mic in your face until you can. Blade often? Only on occasion? Would you rather never blade at all? Hardly, if ever. I like my forehead. Only at the climax of a major feud would I even consider it. What style would you like to wrestle? Why would you prefer to employ that particular style over others? I'd prefer either All Japan late 80's-early 90's or New Japan style throughout the 90's. Just some of the best in ring storytelling and booking you will see from promotions. Refuse to take certain moves? Only take them when working with certain wrestlers? I'm not too keen on head dropping or getting punched directly in the mouth. Other than that, I'm open for anything. Are there any match types you'd like to wrestle in a lot? Some match types you'd rather never have to work in? I'd just prefer to wrestle in straight up matches. I wouldn't cry if I never worked a death match or anything where you scale something high like Ultimate X or a scaffold match. What style of normal match would you like to do the most? Would you prefer to sell or to dominate? Would you like to do long matches? Probrably All Japan style. Hard hitting and realistic. Bret Hart would be about as whacky as I'd like to take things. As far as selling or dominating, depends on if I'm the heel or face. If I'm the heel, I would prefer to dominate and then feed the face a huge, furious comeback. If I'm the face, I'd sell like a mother and then bring the fury of Ricky Steamboat to the comeback. Another thing is to consider is how much bigger/smaller my opponent is. As far as long matches, depends on the circumstances. I hate when matches go long just for the sake of going long. (see HHH vs HBK HITC from Bad Blood 04 and HHH vs Taker from KOTR 02) Would you like to have a manager or valet to work spots with or would you rather just do it all yourself? Not really, but if it helps me get over, I'm not opposed to working with someone. Minnesota can very well surprise people, but on paper there isn't much there. They have a top 3, all-universe player in KG, but what follows is a bunch of question marks. Wally hasn't jived with KG for awhile and is now in year 2 of wanting out. Olowakandi is a bust. Cassell is gone. Spree is gone (which is actually a good thing). Trenton Hassell is a good, but he's a role player. About the only bright spot I've seen is Rashad McCants. Still, with KG, the T-Wolves will be in most games he plays in.

Just remember very good PF's and C' are hard to come by whereas there are tons of SF's and G's that can get you stats. If you can land a top 5 PF or C, you should do it unless you are being asked to drop a guard like Kobe, T-Mac, Wade, or LeBron.

I know they are matching up at an ROH show here very soon, but I don't recall a match between the two. (not saying it hasn't happened, saying I have no knowledge of one)

I have a question... How can you have a match where a retired wrestler (Austin) puts his career on the line? Doesn't this negate the entire reason Austin is fighting Coach at Taboo Tuesday since JR and his non-job (as well as Austin's job in retirement?) are on the line?

Actually, I think Philly and Chicago will not improve and Philly is one Iverson injury away from the lottery. Cleveland made significant upgrades to where they will make the playoffs and Washington will be there. I think Orlando has a better shot, but then again, that's just me. I'm not impressed with Milwaukee, although TJ Ford will determine how far they go, not Bogut or Redd.

Violent J dissin anyone is funny. He writes clever stuff, but he can't flow to save his life. If you're gonna put dis lyrics up against Em, at least post some of Benzino's stuff. Also, while "Where tha Hood At" isn't exactly new, I enjoy the fuck out of it. The middle verse is actually directed more towards K-Solo. Actually, any song dissing Ja Rule gets a rise out of me since I think he's whack as fuck, although I did think Ja had a good dis against Em, Dre, and 50 with "Loose Change".

Something I'd like to see for Survival X is for TNA to steal the Captain's Fall match with Joe and Daniels as captains. Perhaps have Joe and one other X guy (I'd prefer Aries) overcome Daniels after all of Daniels men are eliminated. Then when Daniels gets beat, he can say it took 2 men to beat him and challenges Joe at the next ppv. Meanwhile, slowly build Aries up the X Division ladder as the next X Division headliner type because Aries and Joe rocks and I'm banking Aries vs Styles and/or Daniels would kick 7 different types of ass as well.
