If that's the case, is it ok to also get X-Pac/Jeff Jarrett type heat? You know, the kind of heat that helps you kill the audience and not want to invest their time and money into the product?

Pretty much what he said.

My brother, who is also one of NoCalMike's best friends lives in Houston. I just got off the phone with him and told him he needs to get out of that city asap.

A little more to report from the Observer site...
-
That is an old pic. He's much bigger than that now.
-
What do you mean don't blame him though? He's the one calling guys up too early. Yes, you have a point that it's easier to promote guys who have the look as opposed to more skilled guys who aren't as cosmetic or charismatically appealing, but therein lies the challenge. If your big guys aren't ready, but your workers who aren't as chemically enhanced are, then push and promote the workers properly until the big guys are actually ready. God forbid Vince actually wait until a prospect is ready for the big time until it's time to bring him up. It's Vince's call, so he gets the blame.
-
It's because they don't have the height and physique that Vince is looking for. He will give a huge bodybuilding green machine a push to the moon before taking a somewhat fit looking person and building a promotion around them. The only time that ever happened was when Vince was fixing to go to jail for steroid distribution.

I forgot they called up Bobby Lashley. Another mistake. Here is a guy who has "the look". He's got that Brock-Batista-Goldberg type charisma where he just looks like such a freakish bad ass that you can't help but notice him. However, I get OVW tapes and have seen his work. Let's just say that Bobby Lashley has nothing on Tyson Tomko and Snitsky. That's not an exagerration either. That's how bad he is right now.
-
The sad part is if the guy's name really is Big Gay Al, then it isn't even an original joke. Hello, WWE Creative? It's Trey Parker and Matt Stone. We'd like our character names back. Fucking unoriginal bastards.

Brock to compete in New Japan
Dangerous A replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
As much as I'd love to see that, I get the feeling if Lesnar ends up in Japan, NJPW ain't letting him go over to NOAH, who are smoking them despite business in Japan being in the toilet right now. -
This occurance is a fairly regular thing now with WWE TV. Has been for a few years. It's not so much risque as it is stupid and embarassing. Trying to explain this to the uninitiated sucks and therein lies part of the problem. They are making a product where it's polarizing and not very accessible unless you are just down for low brow, lowest common denominator entertainment and toilet humor. Way to bring the class, guys.

I just have to wonder what may come of Dragon if WWE v. TNA were to heat up sooner than later. Obviously the Jarrett debacle is a set back, but if they end up getting an unexpectedly higher number than previously thought and Vince panics (which is very likely) I could see Dragon in the middle of a bidding war between WWE and TNA. I figure Danielson is smart enough to know what is up. In WWE, he'd get the most money and with Regal as his friend, perhaps he wouldn't get fucked over so hard as a newbie. In TNA, while he wouldn't get as much money, he would get a lighter load that would permit him to still work ROH as well as a 100x's better chance at getting over since he'd be immediately be plugged in the X division where he would even have the chance to shine as bright as Joe or brighter because while he doesn't fly like a lot of the other X'ers, he smokes just about anyone on the ground in the world.

I wouldn't read anything into the Eminem bit. What incentive does Em actually get from performing at WM? The man makes hand over fist money since he is 50 Cent's executive producer. He doesn't have to do shit. WWE couldn't offer Em enough money. Plus Em is smart enough to probrably realize that doing wrestling would do nothing for him. Em is a businessman (believe it or not) and I don't see him making that move. As for Canseco, who cares? He'd be right at home with all the other steroid users I guess.

Brock to compete in New Japan
Dangerous A replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
I'm banking he probrably cannot work for any group like TNA. NJPW isn't a threat because they have no penetration to the US market outside of puro tape traders. I think the WWE has no issue with him working in NJPW. Their probrably not thrilled with it, but it's better than going to court, possibly losing out, and then having the clause completely null and void. In that instance, TNA would probrably throw the world and hookers through Brock's window in an attempt to sign him. It's a sweet deal for Lesnar in that he appears to want to work in NJPW, he'll get a monster push, and he'll work a schedule that is way, way lighter than WWE. As far as him ever returning to WWE, I would never say never. Obviously right now things are not even close, but if and when the oppurtunity were to arise and the cards are all in place, Vince would accept just about anyone back. He's already shown that. -
Dammit. Nick Nemeth gets saddled with this lame shit.

North Korea Agrees to end Nuke Program
Dangerous A replied to Prime Time Andrew Doyle's topic in Current Events
North Korea kind of hangs the nuke threat over the world's head every now and then to get a bologna sandwich (figuratively speaking). Well, now they are getting some bologna sandwiches i.e. energy aid, economic cooperation and security assurances -

Is Bischoff winning the title in two weeks?
Dangerous A replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
Actually, that would be Bischoff winning the WWE Title. At least in this thread. It stil doesn't beat David Arquette as WCW champion. Nothing will ever beat that in terms of worst ideas ever. -
Nope. UFC is still the darling of Spike and UFC will find some kind of replacement for Bonnar. The Impact show is a replay on 10/3 anyways. I think TNA has to prove it has some ratings legs before Spike decides to let them go head to head vs. WWE. As of right now, UFC is Spike's weapon of choice against USA and WWE.

Why doesn't RoH put on a show in Pittsburgh?
Dangerous A replied to jwpeer's topic in General Wrestling
They went to Pittsburgh right around the beginning of Joe's title reign I believe. Not sure if there was low attendance or why they have never returned to the region though. -
Double post

I'm sure Rock isn't trying to be associated right now with a product that is cold right now in the mainstream and the last time the mainstream media gave WWE any attention, it was for the Muhammed Hassan debacle.

Is Bischoff winning the title in two weeks?
Dangerous A replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
I think Creative thinks that since the first Stone Cold v. Vince match did so well, the first Cena v. Bischoff match should duplicate that success. That can be the only reason I see to having this match on such a big night. It's retarded and I'm still watching this Raw on Tuesday or Wednesday because I'm banking that nothing of note really happens unless you think marching out a bunch of old farts is gonna turn things around creatively. -
Is Bischoff winning the title in two weeks?
Dangerous A replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
If Bischoff wins the title, they (the writing team) are insane. It would be beyond stupid if Bischoff wins the title.
