As far as Rock's proposed matches for WM this last year, you've got all of it in your post. That was pretty much it. I think they will try to put Rock/HBK together if Hogan/Austin falls through, but I doubt if they'll put both of those dream matches on the same show. I could see Rock/HBK on a different show, but no reason to blow 2 huge potential money matches in one shot. I would love a Rock/HBK match only if HBK would go back to doing his heel work of this summer. However, HBK's behavior after the Hogan program may have Rock thinking twice, but Rock would not be opposed to doing a 2 match program trading wins and losses. While I know Rock and HHH are not on each other's Christmas lists, I don't think Rock has it out for Shawn as far as I've read.

Short of putting the title on Jeff Jarrett, the dumbest thing TNA could do is build their own women's division. I pray to God that they don't go down that path. I am not opposed to the women as arm candy escorts or mouthpieces if they can talk, but no women's division, especially since the women on board now aren't very good in the ring. If Gayda coming on board leads to Haas coming along, I'm for it. Just keep her out of the ring.

For me, since I don't put Bret Hart on a pedastal, would think the same thing I do now about the "Night Of Champions". My problem with the "Night of Champions" is where is the action? None of the guys they are bringing in is going to be working or wrestling, yet they are going to have the spotlight on them and not the workers. I'm not saying I won't watch it later on Tivo, but I'd rather be watching MNF and UFC that night, where I know there will be something going on besides talking. It's not like I've never heard any of the "champs" not talk or cut promos. Plus, none of them are staying long term except HHH, and I'd rather watch football and real fighting than listen to another long winded promo from him. Even if Foley were coming back to work a program in conjunction with his book, I still have no motivation to watch it live versus live football and UFC. I want action, and the only action "Night of Champions" will probrably be providing is from guys like Carlito, Snitsky, and Chris Masters. Uh, I'll be watching Raw on Tuesday, thank you very much.

Anyone else watching HBO's new show "Rome"? I tivo'd the first episode and it's pretty good. They set up the next couple of eps very well too.

Has that been going on for awhile or is this clearance to make way for the Nano and other apple products?

What does it matter? They are both green machines who can't work. The difference is Carlito actually gets reactions cause he's over to the marks. Masters isn't nearly as over, but I think he may eventually get there. Still, neither man deserves to be holding a title right now, even one as insignificant as the IC title.

It's only 2 eps in and Gaius Julius Caesar isn't even emporer of Rome yet, although in the first 2 eps, they've built up Caesar's ascension greatly. Caesar has just been named an enemy of Rome by Pompei and the Senate. Mark Antony is a General in Caesar's army as of right now. The show also centers around 2 soldiers in Caesar's 13th Legion. While there hasn't been giraffe humping, there has been a ton of sex and violence to say the least.

Color me bored. I'll be tivo'ing Raw as well since I'll be switching back and forth between MNF and UFC. That sounds like a crap Raw. Nothing like having a Night of Champions and what are they going to do? Talk. Dull.

You should give this a shot. Not sure about historical accuracy, but they go all out and the performances and twists put on are great.

The 3 way alone blows away Unforgiven at this point. While I don't want to shit on Angle, if Cena doesn't bring it, that match won't be that good. Everything else on Unforgiven is trash.

I agree that he needs to establish the muscle buster as a pinning finisher while the rear naked choke is already his submission finisher. I read that Joe is also very protective of the choke in that he doesn't want anyone reach the ropes for a rope break, ever. Joe is of the impression that in a real fight, if the choke is put on you, you either tap quickly or pass out. Some have tried to soften his stance on it by saying it's pro wrestling and you should have people make the ropes to add dramatic effect, but Joe doesn't go for it, which I agree with. Keep it special.

That is just one example of many in where WWE is doing things backwards. They are hiding strengths and accentuating the weaknesses of just about every new act that has come on the scene in the last year.

I don't think you can go wrong with any combo of Liger/Joe/AJ/Daniels unless they were to do a 4 way, which I know they aren't dumb enough to do. Liger coming in for BFG is nothing but positive. I'd like it if this could lead to more international guys coming in, even if it's not on a permanent basis. International guys coming in just helps make the product look more important and not as bush league. The other guy I'm dying to see come in is Mistico from CMLL. That guy could come in and be a star from Day One if they brought him in.

Just got a new recording program that is excellent, but I have to tinker with it and master how to use it. Plus, I'm looking to integrate some new things, so the next show will come around sometime between the weekend and a week from today. I will get some email topics out there very shortly.
