Is Tatanka hoping to get the Jannetty treatment here and hope he gets popped into a contract?
-
Are you mad yet? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ......
-
I'm already more than mildly upset at Kurt working this program. Lame pop for Tatanka. HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHA!!!!
-
I don't know which is worse.. Kurt playing attempted rapist vs Booker and Sharmell or Kurt working with midcard, retarded comedy act?
-
If Chavis shows up, I'm a be mad

You are talking psychology, which Masters may not have covered since he was called up so early.

Double post
-
I'll say this... Snitsky is a lost cause in the ring, but I see there is still hope for Masters.

I'm sorry, but not really. Yea, I love wrestling as much as the next smark, but I think I'm gonna be more entertained by Eugene/Angle then I would have by Shelton/Angle. And I think the same could probaly be said for a lot of people. Would Shelton/Angle be better in ring? Of course, but a feud, especially when Shelton can't really talk still over 'I won your gold medals, Shut up you suck, I won your gold medals, Shut up you suck, etc' wouldn't be as entertaining. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean like that wildly unentertaining feud Kurt had with Benoit 2 years ago? You know, the one where 99% of it was based on stuff that happened IN the ring. What was I thinking? In ring feud wouldn't work with a guy like Kurt.
-
I think Snitsky is legit hurt from that gorilla press spot.
-
Why was Shelton not put in Eugene's position as the guy to beat Angle for the medals? I'd much rather watch Angle v. Benjamin for the next 3 months while Eugene the retard breaks the Masterlock as the lower card comedy storyline. Again, 8 new writers and I just came up with something better in about 5 fuckin minutes.
-
Bet they don't include him getting out of jobs and NOT dropping titles.
-
Bischoff's delivery was terrible just now. Wow, same match as last week, except now the title is on the line. Why did they need to hire 8 new writers for a grand total of 14 to come up with that?

What would be the best creative team possible?
Dangerous A replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
After reading through some of the threads in this folder, the answer to what would be the best creative team possible right now to me would be the team that can dump the current format of the shows (since they're both the same) and come up with something different. Anything different at this point. The shows formats have been stagnant for years now. While they aren't filled with Russocity or have the cohesiveness of the 2000 dominated Kreski years, they have the same template. It's as if Steph and Vince have the writing template saved on Word format from Russo and just can't bring themselves to erase that motherfucker and come up with something fresh and new. Hell, go back and steal some ideas from 15-20 years ago that worked. Do something beyond what is now the norm. -

Possible Lesnar appearance at Summerslam announcement- I'm feeling it. Tatanka participating on the show in any way shape or form- Definitely not feeling it. -
Actually, I have seen Jason Williams play (I have the League Pass) and I don't think he's great. Good, but not great. On top of that, he's not very mature, even now that he's a vet. Witness last year's lockeroom blow up on a reporter after they were eliminated. Now I know it's a sensitive time and I can understand frustration, but it's not the first of many dumb things he's said or done. I just am not sure if he's a good fit for the Heat. I wouldn't put him in my top 5 point guards in the league, maybe top 10, but no way he's better than.. Steve Nash Mike Bibby Stephon Marbury Baron Davis Jason Kidd Chauncey Billups I'd put him somewhere between Andre Miller and Tony Parker.

Never really liked Tatanka. Will be fast forwarding through whatever segment he's in. God Bless Tivo. -
The addition of Posey is more positive than Williams. Posey gives you a good all around game and is athletic. Williams, while he does have flashes, doesn't have that winning intangible that I like to see from guys like Nash or Bibby, especially from the PG spot.
-
There is now a rumor that the Heat may deal Eddie Jones to the Grizz for PG Jason Williams.

Lyin' ass mofo. I can't wait for a "I thought it was flaxseed oil" type defense.

Laziness in booking. I just harped on that in the creative team thread in this folder.

This is a perfect example of the laziness of creative and how they don't want to take things to another level because they can't throw away this template of how to structure their shows. It's also one of the things that bug me to no end. No explanation of the camera in the back. It gets old trying to explain that one to non wrestling fans and it makes it hard to suspend disbelief. You don't need a great reason to have a camera back there picking up private, intimate convo's with wrestlers, but c'mon, throw me a bone here. This is one thing I'd like a creative team to correct, but they're so lazy and don't want to throw away the old template of how to format a show because they are stuck in their old ways. Very frustrating. -
Wedding Crashers has some very good legs. Not sure of the budget, but Stealth looks to be a big bomb.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2119462 MIAMI -- Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jerome McDougle was shot in the stomach by armed robbers, police said Friday. The team said he was in good condition after surgery. He originally was listed in critical condition. However, Derek Boyko, the Eagles' director of media operations, said McDougle had spoken to team officials and was walking around his hospital room. "Our understanding is that Jerome is in good condition after undergoing surgery," the team said in a statement. "At this time, we are still in the process of gathering the facts of his situation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jerome and his family." McDougle, who played at the University of Miami, was due to be in the team's camp Monday, the reporting date for Eagles' veterans. Rookies reported Friday. McDougle, 27, was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he underwent the surgery. Three armed robbers approached McDougle at his silver Mercedes coupe late Thursday, police said. The suspects demanded the car, then fired their weapons, police said. McDougle was shot once in the stomach. The robbers, who police said were likely teens, fled on foot and remain at large. It wasn't clear whether McDougle was in his car or near it when he was approached, police said. McDougle was a first-round pick in 2003, but has been plagued with injuries in Philadelphia. In two seasons, he had 18 tackles in 19 games, including two sacks. McDougle had 114 tackles and 14 sacks in two seasons at Miami, and was a second-team All-American in 2002.
