Either it was the ref screwed up or they were getting worried about the battle royale they had to run, I forget It was the time because they had to tack on the battle royal because of Nash pulling out at the last second, so they shaved time off of this match, which was scheduled to go around 13-15 minutes.

I know. I just think LeBron is so special he won't be categorized as the next anything. He'll just be LeBron. If anything, I think he'll be the next Oscar Robertson. While I think it's still impossible to average a triple double in this day and age, LeBron will be the one guy who gets a good look at doing that.

LeBron is a better scorer now than Pippen ever was.

If AI were to come to GS, the Pacific would be Hell on Earth... LA Lakers- gotta deal with Kobe, Phil, possibly KG and Co. LA Clippers- gotta deal with Brand, Livingston, and Co. Phoenix- gotta deal with Nash, Marion, possibly Stoudamire and Co. Sacramento- gotta deal with Artest, Bibby, Wells and Co. The Pacific would be the murderer's row of the NBA. You'd be thankful to have an above .500 divisional record, that's for sure.

I think where teams get slotted in the lottery will play a bigger role than ever in what offseason moves teams try to make. If Chicago ends up with a high pick that can turn into Aldridge or Thomas, they obviously will have more leverage to get a guy like KG. If it turns out they end up with a lower pick, they may have to part with a Hinrich or Gordon to make a deal. Same thing with the Sixers. Speaking of Sixers, GS is also interested in AI and might offer the same package of Davis, Murphy, Diogu, and some other things. Philly may want to stockpile PF's since they are locked into Webber for awhile and you need the insurance at PF when he goes down (which is a question of when, not if) Either way, the GS Warriors are looking to shake up their team and make a deal somewhere. Not saying it'll happen or if a good deal will happen, but something.

I wouldn't argue. Williams was 3rd best PG, hands down. Felton is closer to Paul in terms of being good than Williams is.

As mentioned earlier, don't count out the GS Warriors as a team that could land KG. Mullin is pretty desperate to keep his job out here. They may have to give up their first, plus Troy Murphy, Baron Davis, and maybe even Ike Diogu. The Warriors may also have to take on one of the horrible PG contracts off of the T-Wolves as well, but the market is a decent sized and a team with KG and J-Rich will be something to deal with.

Hughes was a head scratcher signing for the Cavs last offseason. Remember he was the third option the Cavs wanted because they were courting Redd and Ray Allen first. When those deals fell through, they went out and got Hughes out of the blue. You are right, he just doesn't seem to fit, but he has only been healthy for a quarter of the year and hasn't had the chance to gel with LeBron and Co.

Mihm is not a 4, anyway you slice it. Tyrus Thomas will be better at the 4 as a rookie than Mihm will be playing the 4. Mihm is a backup center. He doesn't suck, but he's a backup. That said, the Lakers offer is better than the Bulls offer that doesn't include Hinrich and Gordon.

NoCalMike, Ced, and Darthtiki can attest to this marinade being the bomb since I busted this out at NoCal's WM BBQ... Korean Honey BBQ marinade 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup honey green onions, chopped 2 tb sesame oil 1 tb grated ginger root 1/4 tsp garlic powder Double up on the ingredients if you decide to do a whole package of chicken breasts. Marinade overnight. Enjoy.

I'll just say that since TNA has moved to Spike, this is the coldest I've seen them. UFC is hot. WWE at least has the ECW buzz going for it. TNA has nothing right now. They have this World X Cup and while the matches will be highspot fun, I have no vested interest in who wins. How they can botch the buildup to the World X Cup is pretty telling about where the booking committee's heads are at.

Much credit to Avery Johnson for making a key adjustment with inserting Devin Harris into the starting lineup and the Mavs played damn near perfect. (only 7 turnovers) Of course the beauty of a series is the Spurs need just one game in Dallas to get homecourt back and since they are a veteran team, I don't think they are too troubled. Mark my words, this ass whooping LeBron is taking (although last night they made it respectable) is going to end up being a good thing for him in the long run. He'll start to see what a real championship team plays like in a playoff environment. LeBron is only 21 and needs to suffer some before experiencing some real post season success.

One thing I'll say is The Torch better be right or else they just got played like a fiddle and their credibility will reach the depths of PWInsider. -

Actually, HHH is 37 or 38 and Shawn is 40. At least the young guys are getting all the cool characters and gimmicks, right? :: looks at Spirit Squad and cries :: -

Yet with all of that going against him, yet he's still the 2nd biggest draw in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world? -
You forgot to list the actual Finals appearance for Reggie in 2000.

I think Detroit is playing at such a high level right now, that almost any team in the league minus Dallas and San Antonio would be getting crucified just the same.

Marbury's numbers are quite sick when you look at them. As cheech says, it just seems like he can put up great numbers very consistently, but for whatever reasons he can't lead his team to post season success. I guess it just depends on what your measure of a HOF'er are.
-
It's not looking much better for the Cavs. Someone has to try to check Prince. He's getting whatever he wants.
-
Therein lies the problem. He'll have to be moved for that to happen because it's not happening with the Knicks anytime soon.
-
I agree Nash and Kidd are HOF material, but Marbury? I think that's debatable. I won't go to the extremes cheech13 is, but Marbury= HOF isn't automatic.

Expect Wade to get a lot of calls driving to the basket and getting to the line very frequently.

That story seems too good to be true. But I'll take it.
