Another thing to note, How Ironic in the "Blondes vs Brunettes" match, the Blondes were the faces. big surprise really, the brunettes in that match are a hellava lot hotter than the generic barbie doll blonde Torrie, and the chucky-face lookalike Beth Phonix. Trish is pretty fine but Mickie, Victoria and Michelle are much hotter than she is aswell.

Damn, I forgot about Carlito. which is sad. He was an awesome heel and one of my favorites on Raw and now I don't even notice him anymore. this face turn is sucking already.

Good call. So the suspects are Terkey, Test, Trytan or local talent. It'd likely a signed talent and I doubt they would waste Test in fake kane role. This would be the biggest push Test has gotten sence the Steph wedding.

It was probably the return of Test as the "Fake Kane"

    WWE Pay-Per-View Price Increasing

BAH! WWE could raise their PPV prices all they want. I just buy the good ones on DVD which is alot cheaper anyways, I could just fast forward through the bad matches and watch the good ones instead paying 40 bucks to suffer through the whole show.

And we just had a "Kiss My Ass" club not to long ago, If we're going to be reduced to seeing a 60 year old man showing his ass on TV everyweek. I might as well stick with ECW.

    Spirit Squad

I think they're great wrestlers and the gimick could have potential, but like I said in the Raw thread, the whole 5 on 1 beat own to end ever freakin Raw is getting old and predictable. why not put them is some other mid-card matches with other wrestlers to really show they can do instead of all 5 of them feuding with one guy, that just gets old and boring.

    OAO Raw Thread - May/29th/06.

I thought it was an average Raw at best for one thing, what the fuck, they advertised that a new GM was going to be named but instead we get executive assistant Coach. they advertised a new GM not a fucking executive assistant. why advertise something and not follow through. I though for sure that a "GM" would be named and take over while McMahon is kept off TV but instead Raw still doesn't have a GM and McMahon is bringing back his ass on TV next week. oh joy what HUGE mark out moment it was hearing Kane's old music again(one of the best themes in WWF history) and seeing the old ring attire and mask back, even if it wasn't "Kane" it was still cool to see. being a huge Kane fan sense his debut, this was a huge mark out moment for me. this is really the only storyline on Raw thats holding my interest big time and even though it is kinda cheesy, its still cool as hell. the Foley/Heyman debate was boring as hell, but I was shocked when Kurt Angle came out. at least now this ECW thing is gaining my interest now. but man, if Batista, Orton and Kennedy don't come back by next week. SmackDown is fucked. this whole "All 5 Spirit Squads Vs McMahon's Enemy of the week" Main Events is really starting to get old, their was no advancement to this so called DX return and we again got the same ending to Raw with the usual Spirit Squad beat down. come up with some new material for these guys already. I almost forgot Cena was on the show.

    Who will take Batista's title?

Kinda off topic. Am I the only one that finds it ironic that all the WWF titles are on Raw and all the WCW titles(except the tags belts) are on Smackdown? I wonder if even the WWE realized that. Looks like the Great American Bash is gonna have a WCW feel this year.
  11. WORLD PREMIERE MAY 5, 2005 SmackDown! will be the only place to see the world premiere of John Cena’s first music video when SmackDown! comes to Trenton, New Jersey. For more on John Cena's music and to sample some hot tracks, click here. Of course, last week John Cena learned his first WWE Championship defense would come against none other than former champion JBL, who won a wild Fatal Fourway last week in the United Kingdom. Also, will Rey Mysterio have anything to say to Eddie Guerrero after the bizarre events of last week? Latino Heat basically gave up on their tag team match with MNM, costing Rey and Eddie a chance to regain the championship. If that wasn't enough, Guerrero then stood by and watched Mysterio get beat down afterwards. WATCH: 56k | 300k Meanwhile, United States Champion Orlando Jordan will be in action against Booker T. Plus, with Judgment Day less than three weeks away, will there be any announcements regarding the huge pay-per-view? Don’t miss SmackDown! on UPN (8/7 CT). should be a good show like always.

May, 5, 2005 WWE SmackDown! Thread

Holy Hell what an awesome SmackDown. The Eddie/Rey feud has to be the best WWE storyline these past years. the WWE ALWAYS comes up with crap storylines but I think they're really on their A-Game with this one. so far, I've been really into this storyline sence things really got intense between Eddie and Rey. the promo at the start of the show was just great. Eddie and Rey really showed alot of emotions and Eddie really came off as an asshole in that segment. great stuff. I never seen Rey Mysterio get this much airtime before so that was cool. the Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero Street Fight was an awesome match!. lots of sick bumps in that match espeically the springboard from the top rope on to Chavo while sitting on the Chair. that was wicked. the post-beatdown with Eddie was really well done, but holy crap, the slam on the steel steps was SICK!. holy shit that made me cringed. Rey looked fucking dead after the bump being all bloody and all. that was sweet though. I know more happened on SD but I don't feel like typing more. just wannit to get the Eddie/Rey storyline off my chest. I don't see anything on Raw thats even near as good as this feud. I was thinking. with Eddie, Chavo and MNM contantly beating down Rey, Rey has no one to stand up for him. I think this is the best time to bring in Phycosis and Guerrera to team with Mysterio on this feud. that would be fucking killer.

News on HeartThrobs, Gangrel, Stevie, and more

yeah but hes more entertaining them overall. man, I'am excitied about the return of Gangrel. he was actually one of my favorites back in the attitude era. one of the best entrance and theme song EVER!, had a wicked cool look and was a pretty decent wrestler. great move by the WWE. You're insane if you think Gangrel is more entertaining than Matt Hardy or James Gibson. <--- Insane

News on HeartThrobs, Gangrel, Stevie, and more

yeah, him and viscera did a run in on SmackDown taking down the undertaker during a JBL/Undertaker fight. than the next week Taker squashed them in a handicap match.

Piper to do WWE house shows...

I'll admit that Piper's run on SmackDown in 2003 was entertaining. If they brought him back in a manager role but without stepping in the ring and didn't bring back the Pit he would be very useful IMO. he almost made Sean O'Haire a star before Piper was fired and than gave up on O'Haire.
  18. Yeah I remember that. the rumor was Eddie Vs Jindrak for the WWE title at Summerslam. How this rumor made the dirtsheets I don't know.

    Non-spoiler Smackdown and Velocity listings

    1) Matt Morgan vs. Rob Eckos- Bor--BBB- Bor-BBor BORING!! 2) Orlando Jordan vs. Booker T- I actually enjoyed the last match they had so I think this one will be pretty good. 3) MNM vs. Scotty 2 Hotty and Shannon Moore- M and M impressed me last week so this should be good. 4) Kurt Angle invitational- Bah, same shit. at least Angle is more entertaining than Masters 5) Carlito vs. Bob Holly- looking foward to it just to see Carlito back in the ring. 6) Rey Misterio vs. Chavo Guerrero (streetfight)- should be a kick ass match

The RAW Thread for 05-02-05: Show Comments

Thats kind of what I am thinking - the WWE title has been portrayed as second rate for awhile now and I think they will continue to do this post-draft as well with Christian "jobbing out' on the way to SD. I think they are thinking of it like if a guy is about to turn, sometimes they do some serious jobs on the way out, but this is a little different - you can't groom a contender for a top tier belt by having him lose when you are, at the same time, building him. The the portrayal of the WWE title v. gold belt is just how it is - even the announcers flat out always seem to say the gold belt is way more prestigious than the WWE title (well at least Jim Ross clearly makes a point of saying that). Hell, go back to Royal Rumble - Batista eliminating Cena says it right there, as well as the placement of the gold belt title matches v. WWE title on the big WWE ppvs the past few years. I heard plenty times Tazz and Cole put over the WWE title as the most prestiges prize in the bissniess. right now, I think both the WWE title and World title are treated equally. all the top Superstars of SmackDown were all trying to go after the gold and for the past couple of weeks, Cena has been pushed harder as World Champion than Batista has been. more airtime, louder pops, more matches, his new CD. Raw has the whole tournment thing going to. but it still feels like its still all about Triple H.

2005 TV Match of the Year Nominees

anyways, alot of the choices so far have all been great. but I also think that the JBL Vs Kurt Angle Last Man Standing match on the SmackDown before Royal Rumble was a terrific match all around. great job by both men for that match.
