I often wonder how the WWE does the Lighting Bolts Speical effect during Undertaker's segment. We saw it countless times. during Taker's Judgment Day entrance, When Heyman called out Taker after the great american bash, and last week on SD!. I always thought that they do the explosion pyro live and add the thunder bolts effects digitally. But I'am not to sure. They always look pretty cool.

Wow, you don't honestly think thats a good reason why JBL has had a long reign do you? JBL was loads more a much better Champion than Orton ever was. he made the WWE Title look credible, and was(and is) tons more entertaining than Orton wrestling wise and personality wise. while Orton was just rushed to the title. looses the IC title, wins a battle Royal, has one tag match with Benoit, wins the World Title. talk about rushing it. Orton wa a horrible Champion bar none. and for the record. SmackDown! > Raw. and has been sence last last year.

the only WrestleManias I 've seen were 12,17,18,19 and 20. plus a couple of other matches from my DVDs, so my answers will be based on what I've seen. 1) What is your favorite WM, top to bottom, of all time? Based on the ones I've seen, I would have to go with 19, just a overall, great card with lots of great matches and decent ones to. not a bad match on the card at all. I almost chose 17, but the APA/Tazz Vs RTC match sucked. 2) What is your least favorite WM of all time? Definlly WM12. one of the WORST WWE shows I've ever seen. 3) What is your favorite WM match? Tie between Stone Cold/Rock from WM17, Jericho/HBK and the Triple Threat from 20. 4) What is your least favorite WM match? Easy, Brock Vs Goldberg 5) Name some honorable mentions for favorite match: Eddie/Kurt, Taker/Triple H, Cruiserweight Open, Flair/taker 6) What is your favorite WM venue? Madison Square Garden. where it all started. 7) What is your least favorite WM venue? can't think of one really. 8) Going in, which WM card do you think looked the best on paper? I would say WM20, but the Cruiser match should of been longer, the two tag matches could of been much better, and Goldberg/lesnar had the potential to be SO SO SO MUCH better. 9) Going in, which WM card do you think looked worst on paper? Looking at the WM11 card. that looks fucking horrible!!! 10) What do you think is the most underrated WM of all time? I haven't seen alot of WMs, so don't know. 11) What do you think is the most overrated WM of all time? Same as #10 12) What is your favorite WM moment? Undertaker's return at WM20, the ending to WM20 with Guerrero and Benoit. 13) What is your least favorite WM moment? Triple H retaining the title at WM19. 14) Who would you pick as the top three Wrestlemania performers of all time? The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan 15) How many of the previous 20 Wrestlemanias have you seen? I've only seen 5 so far, soon to be 6(yeah baby!!). 16) What was the most surprising WM moment to you? Roddy Piper's return at WM19, Triple H actually tapping out at WM20 17) Who was your favorite "special guest" at a WM? Not sure, maybe Mike Tyson? 18) Which WM have you seen the most times? I've seen WM20 a bunch of times on my DVD. 19) Which WM commentary team was your favorite? Don't Care 20) Above all, what do you want to see at WM this year? Freakin being there live!!!!!!

HISTORIC CONTRACT MARCH 17, 2005 This week on SmackDown!, the Legend Killer Randy Orton will make a special Thursday night appearance to officially sign the contract pitting him against the legendary Undertaker at WrestleMania 21. On April 3, live on pay-per-view, Orton will undoubtedly be up against the battle of his career. That is, if he makes it out of SmackDown! Thursday night. Randy Orton will not be the only special appearance Thursday night, as former Rocker Marty Jannetty will also be on hand to face Kurt Angle. The Olympic Champion is out to accomplish everything Shawn Michaels ever did in just four week. Last week, Angle won a Ladder Match. This week, he takes on HBK's former partner Marty Jannetty. The former Rocker is coming off a huge victory over La Resistance on Monday night. Can the momentum carry over to his match against Angle? Tune in on Thursday night to find out. That's not all. Rumors have been circulating that SmackDown! General Manager Theodore R. Long will speak about the repercussions against John Cena as a result of the FU he gave to the GM last week. Tune in to SmackDown! to find out what is on General Manager Theodore Long's mind. One thing's for certain, Long cannot be in a good mood after having his authority questioned. Plus, what kind of mood will John Cena be in just two weeks after losing his United States Championship and one week after exploding with rage against JBL's Cabinet? Don’t miss SmackDown! on UPN (8/7 CT). _____________________________________________ Should be a pretty good show tonight.

JBL has done a damn good job of it during his promos. the last major promo he did standing in the ring alone just ripping on the fans and Cena a couple of weeks ago had the fans all over him big time. JBL = instant heel heat.
-
The Killer was in the room the whole time!!! what movie is this from?
-
Well, Have fun at SmackDown!. I went to a SD! taping 2 years ago and it was a blast!. I'am sure you'll have a good time.
-
eh, I knew someone was going to respond negitivly towards my Undertaker comment sence he isn't the most popular around here but I don't mind. everyone has different opinions on the guy, some hate him, so don't. I happen to be a huge fan of the guy and have been sence I started watching wrestling back in 97(even during the biker days). I enjoy his matches. his matches with Heidenreich was actually better than I thought they be. and even his matches with JBL were pretty good. and yes, I even enjoy the supernatural antics he does sometime. you have to sit back and just have fun watching. Its part of his gimick and its just mindless fun. the crowd seems to love it, and I enjoy it to. one of the reasons why I love the Taker charater. its something completly different from anything else in the WWE and I happen to enjoy the whole Gothic aspec. its just....Cool. and he definlly has the best entrance and theme song in all of WWE aswell.
-
Angle/Jannetty totally owned. I think that was the best SD! match sence the Last Man Standing Match. They need to sign Marty after both of his great performances on Raw and SmackDown. The Orton/Undertaker segment was fucking awesome. well, the end anyways. the evil demonic look that only Undertaker can do best, and the lighting bolts, the intire arena going heywire due to taker's rage. that was a pretty fucking awesome site to see IMO. The Undertaker charater is no doubt the BEST charater in the WWE today bar none. Its amazing how Undertaker can be one of the most over superstars in the WWE by not saying a single word. Taker is just great in everyway. Luther/Booker T was eh. what the hell was that Heidenreich thing about??? Paul London/Billy Kidman was a pretty good match. I didn't even noticed that Kidman was even out these past couple of weeks(or month?). anways, good match. LOL!! at the Carlito segment. damn that guy never fails to entertain. Lets see, Cena Looses the US title, most over superstar on SD!(next to Taker), new theme music. yep, Cena is definlly winning the WWE Championship at Mania. and I'll be looking forward to it. the 6-man match was a pretty eletric match. and the ending was pretty cool to. Overall, wrestling wise and storyline wise. this SmackDown! was definlly a great show. actually one of the best ones this year so far. great show all aroud.
-
I agree with the thread maker. Carlito is of my favorite talents on SmackDown!. I say hes a very good wrestler, but even if he isn't. his hillarious charater and great personal more than makes up for it. so him being a good wrestler or not doesn't really matter(as if it ever did), the guy is damn entertaining. and yes, he definlly stole the show last thursday.
-
Probablly the stupidiest reason to give anyone a title shot IMO.
-
I stopped giving a crap about Randy Orton the 2nd he won the World Title. actually, I never really cared for him at all. When he was given that stupid main-event push and the World Title of all things. I started paying less attention to Raw. he does nonthing for me, the generic look, below average wrestling skills, generic theme music, hes just to boring to watch face or heel. his main-event push made me payed less attention to Raw and more on SD!. Seeing one of my favorite superstars, The Undertaker. take down my least favorite wrestler in the WWE would be a blessing for me. I hope they continue to play the "Orton is scared of Undertaker" game and Taker Tombstones him 1..2..3 at mania. Orton definlly deserves this treatment. this would definlly make up for his failed push.
-
Well, Kurt Angle did challenge Jannetty last week so it wouldn't have made any sence for Marty not to be at SD! this week right?
-
Sweet, I'am a fan of Taker's Supernatural antics so this should be alot of fun to watch. And the matches sounds pretty damn good espeically Angle/Jannetty. This is gonna be a pretty good SD! IMO>
-
What exactlly are they spoiling? Everyone knew way before the mag was even mentioned that Rey Vs Eddie was going to happen at mania, and even if no one knew about it, the WWE are going to annoucne it anyways. its no big deal.
-
I always thought the Main-Event was the match advertised the most on the card. So with WrestleMania 21, I guess the World Title, WWE Title, Angle/HBK and Orton/Taker would be considered the Main-Events for the show.

Shows you won't admit to your friends you like
Taker666 replied to UZI Suicide's topic in Television & Film
I actually been watching friends more often nowandays, its actually a pretty funny show. "don't tell anyone" -
Kinda hoped Hostage would of been higher. that was a damn good movie

How bout this... After Batista beats Triple H for the World Title, Flair and Triple H remains as Evolution, but they stay the hell out of the World Title picture and move on to the Tag Team Division and chase the World Tag Team Title while guys like Edge,Kane,Benoit and Jericho go on the feud for the World Title through out 2005.

Does sitcoms still/really have studio audiences?
Taker666 replied to syxx2001's topic in Television & Film
I know family Matters actually had studio audiences around the time it ended. I actually went to one of the tapings to the show. The Audeance weren't as loud and cheery as they were on alot of the episodes, and when I finally saw the episode when it aired, audience sounded a little louder then they were at the taping. hmmm. -
HA! Couldn't agree more.
-
Does "Joey" count?
-
When Leo returned to "That 70s Show" last week. man, he was one of my favorite and funniest charater on the show. I'am glad they brought him back!. yeeeah man!

There is an interview with the Big Show over at a website called tlchicken.com talking about a variety of topics. The highlights: On the importance of paying your dues and understanding the history of the business: "Hulk Hogan, Superstar Billy Graham, [Jimmy] Snuka, Lou Thesz-- all of them paid for us to have the loyal fan base that we have now. To have the media monster that we have now was the blood, sweat, and tears of guys that came before us. As long as you keep that in mind and understand that this is a privilege to be in this business; it's not a right, it's a privilege. If you treat it as such and be respectful to it, it can be very good to you. The biggest hurdle that I've had to overcome was earning the respect of the guys that I worked with. Because I did have a lot of breaks that a lot of the guys didn't have, and, quite frankly, I don't think I made the most of those opportunities at first. I think coming to SmackDown! gave me a chance to start over, so to speak; have some good matches with some guys, and do some good things like the [Royal] Rumble with [Chris] Benoit, and the feuds with Brock [Lesnar], Eddie [Guerrero], and Kurt [Angle]. It allowed me to earn a lot more respect from the guys in the locker room, so that made a big difference. Plus, my attitude changed a lot, too. It was hard when I first came up here because, honestly, the talent when I came in was so good. With Stone Cold and The Rock, the tag situation with Billy Gunn and Road Dogg, they were such an incredible tag team; it seemed like everybody up here was awesome. I felt a little bit behind, and it took me a couple of years to get my stuff together, but now I feel like I belong. I contribute some-- that's a pretty good place to be. Not too many people can go from the penthouse to the outhouse, and then make it back to the penthouse." On the Internet and kayfabe: "Before, the old-timers worked so hard to protect every single square inch of the industry. From the heels to the babyfaces not staying in the same hotels or eating in the same restaurants, to, god forbid, riding on the same airplane. Now, because we all do so much as a unit, and it basically is what it is-- it's World Wrestling Entertainment, a publicly owned company-- we're here to entertain you. We're here to suspend your reality. Now, that's good and bad. It's good because it gives us a lot more freedom for different types of characters, but it's bad because it's also hurt a little bit of the product-- a little bit, I think-- as far as the execution of some things. Now, before I get misquoted, let me clarify this before I have the entire locker room skin me alive and hang me by my toes and pour gasoline on me, or poop in my bag or something... what I'm trying to say is that, because the business is so exposed, because the Internet and everything else, it took away a little of the mystique of the old business." On appearing in WWE-produced movies and his relationship with Vince McMahon: "I'm not as public as Stone Cold, obviously. I'm not the name that he is, but we're really looking at trying to find a good comedy so I can have some free reign. Because I like to be funny, and we had a great time doing the Saturday Night Live thing with The Rock. Luckily, Vince is a supporter of my comedic timing. He also says I have the worst timing on the planet because I'm the guy that will call right in the middle of a major business meeting, or call Vince when he's on the john, for crying out loud. I have perfect timing no matter what. It's the kind of stuff that can get you in trouble, but luckily the boss laughs it off and says, (mimicking Vince McMahon) "Aw, that's Big Show." So luckily he's got a good sense of humor, too." Big Show also notes that he now leases a bus to travel from show to show because he was "tired of going to a rental car counters and having a guy look at me with a straight face and offer me a Taurus." To close the interview he revealed that he recently shot a Hollywood Wrestlemania 21 trailer, hinting that it would be based around Robert DeNiro in Taxi Driver. link: http://www.tlchicken.com/view_story.php?ARTid=2995

I perfer SmackDown! over Raw sence Teddy became GM for a number of reasons.... -More Entertaining GM -MUCH better and entertaining World Champion, JBL ownes all! -No Triple H or Randy Orton. two of my LEAST fav superstars right now -Cruiserweight Division > Woman's Division (even if they aren't being used right, a Cruiserweight Match here and there is more fun to watch than Woman Wrestling -A More entertaining Roster. Star power or not, SD! has more entertaining and talented wrestlers IMO. - The Undertaker, The superstar I look forward to watching in all of WWE right now -JBL, I can't get over on how much entertaining this guy is. -The Announce Team. Tazz and Cole have good chemistry together. I enjoy the little confrontions they have with each other sometimes, Lawler and Ross has become somewhat stale IMO. -Velocity>>>>>>>>Heat Only thing I hate about SmackDown! are the faceless bimbos sucking up airtime in meaningless segments that amounts to nonthing. but I could always change the channel when they come on and switch back when they're over. I'am not saying that Raw is bad overall, I watch both shows every week, and theres been time when I've enjoyed Raw over SmackDown!. but overall, theres just more on SmackDown! that I look forward to watching over Raw. Even when I read spoilers sometimes, the show comes off so much better and different on TV than on paper.
