I don't think they're related.

So the WWF steals the WWE initals. they're stealing their wrestlers and their shows to? BAH!
-
So the walking penis Team are coming to the WWE? They're just going to get another "Basham Brothers" type gimick.
-
So, did they mention when Orton Vs Triple H for the Title is going to take place?
-
On SmackDown!, we saw Triple C start a petition to get GM Long fired. Do you actually think this will lead to Long getting replaced(yet again, sigh) or will it have a different outcome. I've read some rumors that the WWE might be replacing Long's role as SD! GM (with either Shane,Al Snow, or Nowinsky which I heard). sence this rumor isn't big, its proabally false anyways. to me, I hope this isn't true, I've been enjoying Long's role as GM even moreso than Bischoff(before he turned face). besides, how many damn GMs is SD! gonna get? it started with Steph,Heyman(the best one), angle, Long and now it could be someone new. just stick with Long.

Ebert and Roeper were getting a huge hard on over this movie. It looks pretty interesting though, I might rent it on video. Its not playing anywhere near where I live.

You'd take bumbling idiot honky tonk man Bradshaw's title reign over a title reign by a guy that's booked to be 2x better than the entire roster? The JBL character is entertaining. The HHH character is not. But Bradshaw's a midcarder that can't win a match without serious cheating and isn't looked at as a threat by anyone. Not to mention that I'll never forgive him for making me sit through his awful SummerSlam '04 match with Undertaker. Trips has been booked to be better than everyone else on the roster, so people can actually buy him as a credible champion. Trips was obviously going to win anyways. Benoit had lost momentum, Edge and Batista aren't ready, Orton still has to wait, and Jericho is Jericho. To me, no matter whos booked better or not. JBL has entertained me all last year more than Triple H ever did in the last 3 years. and I consider JBL's 7 month reign much more entertaining than all of Trips shitty 5 reigns with the World title. JBL has never pissed me off as much as Triple H has. Triple H > JBL. and thats my personal opinon.

Triple H and Booker T have something in common. They are both 5X 5X 5X 5X 5X World Heavyweight Champions (talking only the World Title belt)

Undertaker, Big Show, JBL? Anyways, I think both brands have the same number of Main-Eventers, its just that Raw's ME have some slighty bigger names while some of SD!'s ME started out 2-3 years ago. I guess it just depends on taste. for me, I perfer the SD! roster more.
-
because that would mean that everyone here would have to say something positive about the WWE for once, and we sure can't have that. But yeah, Raw got a 3.4. so SD! beat Raw this week. which I think was a better show than Raw anyways.
-
PPVs I've enjoyed this year were Royal Rumble, No Way Out, Wrestlemania, Judgment Day, Backlash, Taboo Tuesday and No Mercy(probabally the best SD! PPV sence Vengeance). just my opinion.
-
Booker and RVD have more star power than Benjamin though. SD!, to you, may have gotten Ho Hum Mid-carders. but besides Edge and Benjamin, All Raw got were just heat jobbers. SD! has gotten wrestlers whom all participated in actual storylines and feuds in 2004. As well as TRL whos actually doing a good job as GM. as for the dudleys, They were stale on Raw, but when they went to SD! and turned heel, I"ve enjoyed them alot more sence than.
-
As for the Draft lottery, I actually think Raw got it worse than SmackDown!. SD! got Booker T, RVD, and the Dudley Boyz. those are pretty big names right there, you could also add Dupree in there. while Raw's only big name was Edge. also during this period the WWE turn JBL into a Main-Eventer he is now. So I think the WWE were trying to improve SD! a little there. SD! did gain something from the lottery with their new stars. Not much but some. While Raw just got Edge. Nidia, Rhyno and Chuck didn't do nonthing for Raw.
-
I'll see it if I feel like buying it from the $5 DVD Bin next month. I hate movies where theres nonthing but confusion. thanks for the heads up.

Its been a while, but the History of the United States Championship is now up going back to 1980 when Flair first won it. just an update if anyone cares at this point.

At least they've kept Stephanie off TV way longer than we expected. You know, as far as I can remember, Vince is the only McMahon that appeared on TV in all of 2004. and those appearances were for speical occasions. No wonder why 2004 was such a great year.

Ok, I'am going to be a mark for a 2nd and say that the Druids/Casket bit was just um..Awesome!. espeically the part where Undertaker rose his arms and "magiclly" opened the casket from far away, this may be 2004, smarks will say "this is fucking stupid", but so what, its just television. I always mark the fuck out whenever The Undertaker does his supernatural bits. the lighting bolts, the caskets, the arm coming out of the grave(remember that?). Don't get me wrong, I love my wrestling, but having some unrealistic Entertainment every now and than doesn't hurt. I think it built towards the royal rumble match pretty well. The rest of the show was pretty good IMO. Eddie Vs Rey was fantastic, RVD Vs Doug was actually much better than I thought. and the Kenzo/Cena and Angle/Joy segments were priceless. great show tonight. and next week's fatal 4 way should be a awesome bout aswell.

What ever happened to Bill Pullman? haven't heard anything from that guy sence, um, Casper.

Also... John Cena Rey Mysterio Rhyno tagiri Eugene's first teletubby-like theme kinda fit his gimmick.

"Coming on the heels of the WWE's trip to the Middle East, WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield saw fit to respond with a letter to Pro Wrestling Torch writer Wade Keller in regards to Keller's column "Next Year Entertain the Troops and Keep the Politics Out of It" where Keller wants WWE to leave Vince McMahon's political views out of their trips to the Middle East. _______________________ Mr. Keller, I am having trouble with my internet connection over here, I am not sure if the e-mail I sent you went through, so I will try another. I am still in Afghanistan visiting our soldiers, I do this every year with the SMA and the USO, I stayed after everyone left to go home. I am sure you didn't know that because I try to make sure the media doesn't cover it. I was looking on the Internet to see our ratings, and I saw your column. I wanted to respond. You are wrong about how much the soldiers get to watch the media on TV. Every mess hall has a TV along with every rec center and gym. They get to see more news than a lot of us do, mainly FOX but also CNN. Your take on Vince I respectfully believe was wrong. The media has done a bad job of covering the war. They all sit in a hotel in Baghdad reporting the news. They might as well be in Des Moines, I saw no reporters in any FOBs (forward operating bases), and there were no reporters on the ground in Afghanistan. The troops are very sick of how the war is being portrayed, I know this because I have just spent almost two weeks with them. The morale is high and all of them have sufficient armor when they leave base. Make no mistake, this is a rotten place, and I believe we could have planned better, but the enemy always has a plan also. I do not believe it is a liberal bias necessarily, I believe it is a tabloid mentality by the media. What Vince did was good for the troops, remember he spent a lot of his money and the company's money to come here, a lot of people who talk about what he did have not been here themselves. By the fact he was here should give him some credibility. You are entitled to your freedom of speech, I firmly believe that. As long as you believe in America, I have no problem with that. Let me clarify, I believe in Freedom of Speech always, but when a person does not believe in America I have a problem with them (I don't feel this applies to you). Al Franken is over here with me, and he is a very dear friend. We disagree across the board about politics, we do not disagree about our soldiers and about our love for America, we just think it should be run different ways. Vince did a great thing by bringing the WWE to Iraq, I feel your criticism was unjustifed. Vince is as good of a person as I have ever met, and a great American, I know you may disagree, but I don't. Look at what he has done over here. I held the hand of a soldier that was hit in the Mosul attack that had lost almost all of his face to burns, he asked to see me because he was a wrestling fan. If I live a thousand lives I will never replicate that moment, Vince was the reason I was there. I respectfully ask that you take things in a bigger perspective than your own beliefs, I thought what he did was great. Now you can go back to bashing me as a terrible champion, which is your right. John Bradshaw Layfield"
