the only thing I have against Taker as Heavyweight Champion is he just holds the belt to the ring. Sence Undertaker is all about old school. I would love for him to wear the belt around his waist the way it should be worn. but thats just me. other than that, I'am enjoying every minute with Taker as Champion. SmackDown was excellent tonight. the Tag Title Match, MVP/Benoit and the main-event were all top-notch. watching SmackDown is like I'am watching an actual sports show because they always seem to put the wrestling above the entertainment stuff. thats the main difference between Raw and SmackDown. watching Raw is like watching a badly acted TV show and watching SmackDown is like watching a actual sporting event. that alone matches SmackDown the #1 brand.

The first JP was awesome. The Lost World is very underated as I thought it was great. the third one was pretty much shit thought although there were some cool parts like the fight between the T-Rex and the Spinosaurus and the intire Pteranodon scene. They need to bring back Goldblum and Speilberg to do number 4. part 3 wasn't the same without them.

Can anyone explain to me the point of Umaga holding the IC Title.

I found it kinda funny that Taker was just holding the title to the ring instead of wearing it around his wiast or over his shoulders. put anyways, awesome SmackDown.

Chris Benoit was originally slated to drop the US title to Montel Vontavious Porter but the finish was changed when WWE decided to keep him on Smackdown rather than making the rumoured switch to Raw. The Originals victory over the New Breed in the ECW match was a gesture of goodwill towards Rob Van Dam. WWE wanted to show that they still value him and would like him to sign a new contract rather than leave for TNA in the summer. He has still to make a decision either way. The Undertaker has been told this will be the first long-term title run of his career. Vince told him he wanted to give him a long-run but needed a commitment to a full-time schedule in return. It remains to be seen just how long Undertaker can keep up the schedule as he is in need of a hip replacement. The idea of Undertaker/Batista was first pitched last August by Dusty Rhodes and Alex Greenfield. Vince approved it in September but said no decision on the finish would be made at that time, prompting many to think he wanted Batista to end the streak. In truth, Vince doesn't want the streak to end and so it probably never will. wrestling observer newsletter Benoit staying on SmackDown, Sweet!. A Long Undertaker title reign. Double Sweet. SmackDown is gonna rule 2007. A Benoit/Undertaker feud for the World Title would be my dream feud actually. These two would definlly tear the house down.

the fake pope getting sliced in half in slow motion was fucking cool. Great episode. definlly one of my favorite seasons so far.

Fantastic Easter Special" April 4, 2007 Determined to get the real story behind why he has to decorate eggs for Easter, Stan falls in with an eccentric society that guards a legendary secret. heh, sounds pretty good.

sounds like a great show. Can't wait to see the first SmackDown with Undertaker as Champion. Why the hell are the Hardys on Raw? they're the Raw World Tag Team Champions and have no busniess on SmackDown anymore. why don't SmackDown push they're own Tag Champions and leave the Hardys on Raw. these cross-brand appearences for no reason is getting really irratating.

With alot of Brand switching that could go on in the coming year, its hard to predict anything for WrestleMania. hell, RVD Vs Triple H and Lashley Vs Batista could possibly headline WrestleMania next year.
-
Ulitmatly disappointed that I missed Wrestlemania because of work but why the FUCK was the World Title Match only mid-way in the show?!?!?!. Undertaker winning the World Title should of closed WrestleMania but instead got a repeat from last year with Cena retaining which is utterly ridiculas. Anyways, I'am happy the right people went over last night except for Cena and Khali which were both unexcusible. And nonthing can make me more happier that Undertaker is finally the World Heavyweight Champion. Cena and Lashley can kiss my ass because now, SmackDown is where the true power lies now. Taker hasn't been Champion sence 2002 which is long overdue for someone who busted his ass as much as Taker. well, anyways. hes Champion now and lets hope this time, unlike is previous Title reigns, he has a nice long run as Champion.

Its all Wrestlemania hype. Raw and ECW had superstars from other brands aswell. by next week everything should be back to normal. at least SD! won't bore us with the battle of the billionaires crap.
-
Yeah give it to the 40+ year old injury prone guy with no interest in wrestling... GENIUS! Well, would you rather they wait another year, put Undertaker against someone like MVP or Kennedy, and hope he's "feeling it" that night enough to finally put someone over? I rather Taker just retire with the streak intact. many of the wrestlers in the company already gotten themselves over elsewhere, or are not good enough to rub off the streak. 2 years ago many actually though Orton should of been the one to end the streak. pfft, yeah. look wear he's at now. what a huge waste that would of been. and it would be a HUGE crime if Taker-Batista isn't THE Mania-Event sunday.

sounds like an exciting show. This looks like a SmackDown before the brand extension with damn near every top guy in WWE appearing on the show. They should of at least made a Triple-Threat Cruiserweight Title match for Mania involving Chavo, Helms and Yang. the Cruiserweight Title hasn't been defended at a WrestleMania sence 19. I think that will at least make WrestleMania more exciting IMO.

I don't know why everyone wants the brand extention to end so bad. I think it makes WWE Programming more entertaining than just having one show with the same wrestlers and storylines. With the extention, each show has their own Champions, wrestlers, and storylines which makes WWE alot more fresher than seeing the same shit everyweek. Last year, SmackDown was a fresh of breath air for me from seeing the tiresome act of DX, the McMahons and Super Cena dominate Raw every monday. SmackDown had none of that and actually had stuff I actually enjoyed which is why I'am a huge supporter of the brand extension. another positive is instead of having to stomech John Cena's Title reign all over WWE. I could turn on SmackDown and see a Champion I actually enjoy watching. or vice versa. the brand extention is here to stay.

-I wonder why they didn't just do the ECW taping before SmackDown to prevent fans from leaving. -So what was the point of Chavo winning the cruiserweight title if he hasn't been featured on the show sence he won it? -So whats the deal with MNM? could they just randomly show up on any show they want? -Matt Hardy beat Kennedy. sweet. Hardy is really overdue for a US Title run.

Most prestigious World Championship in wrestling Today

I would say the SmackDown World Heavyweight Title. It has a prestigious History behind it and the fact that it kept the same basic design from the NWA in the 80s all the way to the current WWE makes it very prestigious and makes the Title holder look important. Its the only World Title today that actually LOOKS like a World Title. -
I think bringing back the Television Title will make more sence than the Tag Team Titles sence their are more people that could use the TV Title right now. superstars like Punk, Brown or Kevin Thorn could benifit well from a TV Title run and would make ECW more entertaining. but if they're really going to go along with pushing new Tag Teams on ECW than bringing back the Tag Titles would be great to. you know, make ECW a true brand by bringing back all it's titles.

I wonder how this will effect the PPV bussniess. will there still be brand specific PPVs? and how will Wrestlemania and the Royal Rumble tie into all this? At least this new idea fits perfectly with their name. WORLD Wrestling Entertainment.

Wait, why is the McMahon/Lashley storyline taking place on SmackDown?
-
I was browsing through WWE.com and they actually have a history of the WCW Championship in their title history section. even more interesting is they actually achknowledge that current World Heavyweight Championship carries the linage of the NWA/WCW Championship.

I would have to say that my favorite WWE Championship belt design have to be the "Undisputed" Championship belt because to me, it actually LOOKS like a World Title and is actually a lot bigger than the other versions, and I also like the whole black/gold design to it. the other versions were fine but they were to small to look like a World Title. I didn't like the fact that back in the days the IC Title was bigger than the WWF Title which made the IC Title look more like a World Title. That just always bugged me. someone needs to beat John Cena and bury him in the middle of a desert somewhere just so they don't have to use that fucking god-awful Spinner belt anymore. that fucking toy lost it's appeal 2 years ago.

This is exactly how I feel. Just wondering, dude... Where is your seat? Not really sure yet. my cousin got them for free through his mom's job. although I heard they're really good seats though. I had great seats for WM21.
