You should probably offer a bit more. Training costs are based on level. Relaxed - $10 * level Normal - $75 * level Intense - $200 * level So at level 3, Intense training would be $600/day. Maybe closer to $1000 a day? I dunno if we'll hit level 5 by the time the contract runs out.

As for my player, I was holding out on all kinds of good offers because I didn't want to go to a human team if we might be doing a TSM team, but I forgot that I'd allowed myself to be traded before I even figured out what was going on. So, today when I looked at the page, all of a sudden I'm playing for the Philadelphia Eagles which is someone's shitty Western Europe AAA team; I didn't get any kind of salary upgrade at all, and now I'm stuck on their team until my contract runs out halfway through next season. You should replace the referral link in your first post with links from CV and anyone else who wants referrals. I put my referral in my first post in the thread now. I guess we should all make sure to disable trades. The problem is that even without trades we can get screwed. People are constantly buying the CPU teams...I'd had two of my characters get shanghai'd that way, with no salary bonus and no way to get to another team. Very lame.

Morrus' group was really terrible, crowds couldn't get behind them. Plus I think they were calling him "General Hugh G. Rection"...I mean, really. Who would buy a PPV to see that guy win? It was a bad stable and a bad gimmick and should have been used as opening act instead of upper midcard.

I really liked Lance Storm's run as well. I thought a strong heel collecting belts was a pretty interesting idea as it put over Storm huge. Too bad WCW was pretty much dead at that point. As for the Thrillers, I thought Mike Sanders "Above Average" gimmick was great. He would talk about being a "solid 3.0" and such. I also remember seeing Jindrak on the WCW Saturday show...he had this extremely generic basketball gimmick, where he would mime dribbling down the aisle. It was ridiculous, kinda like Barry Darsow's golfer gimmick.

Shamelessly stealing the following from the somethingawful thread: ---------------------- Quick info: TWG is a browser-based fighting game that is free to play. Lots of customization, doesn't take a lot of time. Spending money on it does NOT make you better, but unlocks some customization things faster. http://www.thewrestlinggame.com is a browser based game designed around pro wrestling. Players make a character of one of 5 classes, each with their own specialty. Then you can challenge other players, get new attacks and level them up, create your own taunts and special moves (and level them up) and even special finishing moves (and yes, level them up). After you gain a few levels your wrestler can join a wrestling federation and participate in storylines and feuds. All the feds are player-run. (The goons have their own fed I believe, we might be able to build one with enough people) Also worth mentioning is that while paying a subscription fee lets you unlock things like tag teams and entrances faster, playing for free gives you all the same things and doesn't make your character weaker. So you can play for free without being crippled. Info: There's a lot of things that don't immediately make sense, but there is a faq here that does a pretty good job of explaining what the wrestler classes do and what the stats mean.
