I like how Mr. McMahon has the same overall as Umaga. I wonder if that was his idea, or the just the devs trying to suck up a bit.

Carolina might be starting 80 year old Vinny Testaverde. That's reason enough to pick the Cardinals.
-
Why? He's been much more subdued this season, which is a step up from last season. His lame line about Ryan and Pam. He's just so smarmy. I think if I worked with him, I'd really dislike him.
-
I'm starting to dislike Jim.
-
What's wrong with Clinton Portis? He's been playing very well this year.

This is the best offseason NHL news.

Those aren't prizes at all. That's punishment.

Like you said, those were clean hits on Lindros. What else can you do? Make that type of hit (shoulder to the face) a penalty. Say, a five minute game misconduct. If that happens, it will at the very least bring down the number of concussions. I'm not saying that the game needs to be pussied up or that hitting should be eliminated. Once specific kind of hit can be removed while still allowing for a physical game.

More from Campbell: This is the real problem here, and I can see where Pinjockey is coming from. The various hits laid out on Lindros over the years were "clean". 20 years from now, if he has dementia from his brain being rattled around, the NHL is partially at fault. They should just outlaw hits to the head, like how the NFL has a penalty for helmet to helmet hits.

Through the locker room.

...!!! What? Come on Ripper, that's crazy. Where are you getting this idea from? I guarantee if you look at the development lifecycle of a PC game versus a console game, the amount of effort and general timeline should be pretty similar.

This isn't a new thing though, the gaming review industry has always been bizarre and non-sensical. Remember when Super Street Fighter 2 received 98s and 5 faces and whatever else when it came out? Game reviews are a joke, it's not worth getting riled up over.

"We're on a mission from God" I liked the how Bison has killed most of Zangief's extended family too. Good times.
-
I like how Ripper has called him both Pushy McResist-arrest and Flaily McPusherson. I hope this thread keeps going just for more McNicknames for this guy.

So I guess Matt Runnels posts here. Are you related to Dusty?

For anyone that played through FFXII:

It reminded me of when they were trying to get Orton over as their number one face after he lost the World Title. There was a Raw at MSG with a lumberjack main event of HHH vs. Jericho. Post-match when everyone was brawling inside and outside the ring, Orton (who was probably barred from the arena earlier), runs in and RKOs everyone in sight, even poor, SHIT Rosey who just tried to calm him down. The crowd reaction: mild at best. They're just trying to recapture the Austin DTA crap. I still don't understand why they bothered bringing London and Kendrick over to Raw. Even now, with a depleted roster, they still decide to squash 5 guys in one match? Meanwhile, Hacksaw Jim Duggan goes over in another match. Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

There are no safe picks this week. I wonder how many people will try and pick Oakland/Cleveland, just to use up one of the bad teams.
-
Plus this game has "upset" written all over it. I'd stay away from the Bears this week. I like Denver over Oakland, or maybe Philly over Washington.
-
That has nothing to do with the thread, what a pointless post. Anyways, here's a about bad shirts.

From what I understand, they like Seneca as a QB. They just think they can also use him elsewhere, and want an insurance policy in case Wallace gets hurt. Great news on Everett.
-
If anything, Whisenhunt should have stayed in Steeltown and Tomlin takes the job in Arizona. Tomlin's cover 2 philosophy doesn't really work the the Lebeau 3-4 defense, but could work pretty well with the personnel they have in Arizona (sick safety in Adrian Wilson, penetrating d-line with Dockett).
-
The Arizona Cardinals are an embarassment. The sad thing is, it's still a tie game! Neither of these teams should be given a primetime spot ever again.

The Eagles had Greg Lewis catching his first punt. He got blown up while catching the punt, and the ball bounced back into the endzone and Green Bay recovered for 7. Bad start for the Eagles.
