Did no one else watch this? I'm starting to enjoy how pathetic Ted is. Plus, more flashback Pretentious Ted! I'm not sure if I buy Donna as Pretentious New Girlfriend, but we'll see how it goes. Robin mumbling 70s hockey play-by-play in her sleep was kind of adorable.

People laughed during the rape? I mean, I can see someone laughing at blue wang or some of the cheesier lines, but Comedian beating the tar out of Silk Spectre was not funny at all. Yikes.

You know, I don't buy this argument. Actors seem to put their hearts into completely scripted lines, without any improv or whatever. People can still do a great job with lines that were originally written hundreds of years ago, in a live atmosphere. Maybe they could help workers adjust to scripted promos by putting them through acting classes or something.

For some reason I thought the promos weren't scripted line for line...I guess I thought they would have a general theme of the promo and maybe a line or two, and then let the worker come up with the details. Does that actually happen as part of the scriptwriting process, or do the writers basically decide every line?

I don't know about that...Moss ran off the field early once with the Vikes, his teammates took that pretty badly. Personally, I'd love to see TO on the Patriots. I used to hate the Pats, but with Moss and Owens? That will be one entertaining team.

Slumdog had the second best weekend of all time for a movie in its tenth week of wide release. So what had the best weekend...Titanic?

I'm assuming Star Ocean looks like Ann from now on.

I managed to watch all the way through the series over the past month or so. This is a pretty good show. Pretentious College Ted just kills me, with the bad hair and the 'spectacles'. I think my favorite parts of the show are when Ted is being mocked...in season 1 the dude was horrible. Anyone remember the Rain Dance? Terrible. Anyways, looking forward to the rest of this season. I'm kind of hoping the show bows out gracefully next season though...with this concept it can really only last so long.

I'm watching. Washington is such a fun team to watch. This is a great game, fun offense, lots of hits, pretty much everything you want out of a neutral NHL game. I hope these two teams play in the playoffs, it would be insane.

Ha! No, this will not affect whether or not I will be able to watch his matches. Which is to say that I will continue to watch zero of his matches. Except for the Money in the Bank with Verne Gagne vs. Ray Stevens vs. The Crusher vs. Fritz Von Erich vs. Ken Patera vs. Nick Bockwinkel. That one's too good to miss out on. The triple-stacked table spot was pretty amazing for it's time.

This is reasonable but it doesn't really set up Orton/Cena at all. If anything it superbly sets up Orton/HHH but I doubt they'll send their new golden boy over to Smackdown.

I'm glad that Dark Knight wasn't nominated for Best Picture. Sometimes I think I'm the only person who didn't love that movie.

Fuck these losers. Man, I am a hardcore bandwagoner when it comes to the Canucks. I'm the ultimate optimist, glass is half full guy when it comes to my teams, and even I'm at my wits end. I said I wouldn't wear any Canucks shirts until they broke the streak. This is a problem, since after my trip to Vancouver, most of my shirts are Canucks related. I'm grateful Centre Ice decided not to work tonight. At least you guys weren't at the game. The highlight of that mess was when they put a bunch of 5 year olds on the ice at intermission and had them play. They all skated better than Pyatt.

I recall Batista being a jobber when he joined Evolution. I recall Orton being the second coming of 1996 Rocky Maivia when he joined Evolution. I think both moves worked out quite well. I think Cody Rhodes can get a great rub being paired up with Orton. Except neither of those guys were jobbers when they joined Evolution. They had a ton of tv time, wins, vignettes, all of that. What did Manu have before he joined the group? The dude was totally buried. Rhodes especially looks like a bitch with Orton...why is he so eager to please a guy that slapped him around and beat the snot out of him not too long ago?
