It's like mouthing off to Stephanie or Vince. Maybe you have a point, but you don't tell off the most important people in the company. That's just stupid. And really, Batista has a point. The Smackdown divas are useless.

The bolded part is the point of the marketing. It's to make people wonder what is coming, think about it, keep it in their heads. Then closer to the release of the game, they do other ads in the same style that are more blatant.

I think it would be nice for Selanne to win a cup after the insane season he had, but the rest of the Ducks have either won before or are jerks. Thus I gotta cheer for the Sens.

It would have been cool if he actually killed Peter and "saved the world", instead of being stabbed like a chump. Instead the line was just kind of pointless.

I recall him flying free agents into Seattle on his private jet, that kind of thing to help the team. The guy has a pretty ridiculous amount of money, and it seems like he lets the football people handle all of the major decisions (he's not a Jerry Jones or an Al Davis, that's for sure). He seems like a decent owner to me.

I assume he means "not that bad of a felony, compared to rape/murder/etc".

Why did Hasek go down there? It looks like he got the jump on Hasek with that super quick move to the backhand, but if Hasek moves laterally it leaves so much less net open.

Hopefully Tom Brady and Marvin Harrison skip, just to make things more fun.

I saw that posted on another forum. Ladder is my new favourite wrestler, and should be yours too. LADDER IS GOD. Broom could take it. It might be me, but I really don't get it. I didn't laugh once at this. It really wasn't very good. It's ridiculous, but it made me laugh. People overselling for an inanimate object is fairly funny, the part that really made me laugh was the dude who bridge pinned the ladder. The little girl was adorable as well. Chokeslams and 619s for all!

It's not such a bad thing. The Bears are deep at DE, while teams like the Redskins are desperate for help there. If they can turn Alex Brown into a first round pick next year, they should.

Hey, nice to see another FO person here. Who are you on their boards? One can make the argument that scheme screwed things up with Vick. That amazing 2002 season was with Dan Reeves, and he was injured in 2003. 2004 had Mora coming in with the WCO, and that may have contributed to drop in DPAR. It's not like the guy hurt his shoulder and he became less accurate, there has to be something going on with scheme or personnel that caused the numbers to drop so significantly. The (alleged) lack of work ethic may play a part in this too, if the guy didn't work on really learning the new scheme. Anyways, the on-field Vick is a much different monster than the off-field Vick. Even if they wanted to get rid of him, it isn't going to happen anytime soon due to the cap hit, and getting rid of him would pretty much require a superstar in return (who is going to trade a star for Vick now?). Blank has put a huge investment on the guy and without Vick the Georgia Dome might be half empty. For better or worse they're stuck with the guy.

The old Ray Lewis argument. He was great on the field, so let's ignore his off-field stuff. Good times. Anyways, if you don't want to compare Vick to Brady and Favre, how about comparing him to Leonard Little. Little actually killed a woman while drunk driving, and the guy is still happily in the league. I'm not saying Little should be suspended for something that happened a few years ago, but it just shows that there seems to be a way higher standard for how Vick acts vs how some defensive end acts.

What irks me about the movie is that I no longer can talk about Street Fighter's plot with my friends anymore, because I have one friend who I honestly probably never played a Street Fighter game before, but seen every anime, and keeps bringing up plot points of all the anime like they're canon. If I hear him talk about Akuma and his relationship to Ryu one more time, I'll scream! Does the plot of Street Fighter really come up that often with your buddies?

It isn't Punjabi, which should be his language given the guy's last name. I think he just made up his own language.

I hope Favre ends up in Chicago. Favre would rip it up with the Bears, and they could easily make it back to the Super Bowl.
-
Awesome. But after they hold Viscera's intervention, what do you do with him? Reform MoM? Or just make him travel around eating steaks and falling for white divas? That reads a bit like the Sports Guy, who is a known WWE fan. Wonder if he's ghostwriting for WWE.com now.

How's the pie?

If he was sober and owned the car, why the heck wasn't he driving?

Don't do it King, it's a trap. If you say something they'll just resign Cloutier for 4 years.

Completely agree. Normally, I find it hard to care about a series that doesn't involve the Canucks, but this is must-watch stuff. Plus it's already made for a pretty fun thread.

Yeah, they remind me of the early 90s Buffalo Bills.

I don't see the need for Carnage, a straight up Spidey vs Venom movie would work. Have Venom kill off MJ at the inevitable Peter/MJ wedding, maybe the Lizard if they have to have a second villain. As far as this movie goes, why would MJ break up with Peter on the bridge? Her boyfriend is freaking Spiderman, if anyone is able to stop the deranged Harry it's him. And where was she going to go to 'get help' for Harry when he was dying? She was in the middle of a half-built half-ruined skyscraper. I also like how the cops watched as Spiderman was pretty much beaten to death...good work, everyone.

Ray Ray is more likable than anyone on the Sabres. Anyways, I'd like to see Ottawa and Detroit in the finals as there are a lot of interesting storylines and a couple of pretty controversial players in Heatley and Bertuzzi. That being said, we'll probably see Anaheim and Buffalo.

Populous was originally a pc game, and probably works better using a mouse/keyboard than the SNES controller.
