I usually move the stick...am I not supposed to? I usually pound on every button possible, and my character will lie there. It's especially bad for ladder matches...I can kick the tar out of someone for 10 mins, but they do one move and pretty much win the match since my guy doesn't get back up.

This game doesn't make sense. I'm fighting Kurt Angle, and my wrestler just doesn't get up, no matter how many times I "tap any button repeatedly". What the hell? This is supposed to be easy difficulty.

I ended up getting the new Raw vs Smackdown. So far, the CAW and Create-An-Entrance have thoroughly entertained me. The Christian entrance will always crack me up...Always. Hopefully the gameplay is alright.

I played the crap out of Safari Hunt when I was a kid. I actually think that was a pretty good pack-in...had a little more variety than duck hunt, with different animals to shoot. And no horrible dog that you can't shoot. Stupid dog. The one game I really remember loving was called "Psycho Fox"...did anyone else play that? It was a platformer, and you could play as a bunch of different animals. For some reason me and my sisters loved that game. I'm pretty sure there was a version of Altered Beast for the SMS, and I played through that a lot. Looking back, that game was kind of disturbing...you go from a normal looking fellow to some steroid monster and then a furry. Plus it had that infamous "Wise Fwum Your Gwave" audio. The other game I remember was called Alien Syndrome...you could get a bunch of different weapons, like a flame thing and a laser, and basically wandered around some ship shooting things. Good waste of time.

I was thinking of picking this up, I haven't had a wrestling game since No Mercy. How does the game compare? I played the original PS1 Smackdown once, and I thought it was kind of ridiculous that people would immediately get up after big power moves...does that still happen? How is the CAW? Season mode sounds pretty funny, and there seems to be a ton of match modes and such. It sounds like it could be a fun way to waste some time.

Vick was horrible in Atlanta with no receivers and a barely there offensive line. He's look unworthy for high school with no offensive line and still receivers who can't catch. Even Vick doesn't deserve that. It wouldn't work. Vick has a huge contract, the cap hit in getting rid of him would cripple the Falcons. I still think Oakland should have promoted their defensive coordinator, then hired on someone like Kiffen as the OC. Their defense was superb last year, may as well reward the only guy who did well.

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining I Love Lucy and Terry Tate, Office Linebacker . The story should use moving to a new place as a plot device! Sorry for posting another, but Lucy screwing up a move and the getting violently tackled by Terry Tate really cracks me up. Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Jeopardy! . The story should use losing one's virginity as a plot device! I would read this.

She actually is. That was a fun little trip down memory lane. Thanks for posting. -

How could you not love that Statue of Liberty play? Totally insane and awesome ending. All three plays were wonderful to watch though, as was AP's run in OT. What a dagger, who knew Boise could come back from that defensive letdown.

That's the most adorable finish ever.

Hahah this game is nuts! I love this.

Why don't you up the difficulty? I mean, if you can bust out those kinds of stats with garbage players, it's probably time to muck around with the sliders (CPU tackling at max, maybe?).
-
So are they allowed to fly? Cuz Superman could just take the ball, fly into space, and drop down back into the endzone. All while still staying inbounds. Any of the flying heroes could.

Is it just me or is Eden really really dumb? Why not put some cyanide Sylar's food or fill the room with gas or something, the gun she brought along was pointless.

I managed to beat him around that level. Try to equip armour that halves or negates dark (you should be able to buy Bone Armor by this point), buff everyone up (haste, brave, faith), and make sure your characters have charge technik and the various augments that give you magic points when dealing/taking damage. Use your quickenings when there are 5-6 zombies around the boss; as long as you get a Concurrence you should be able to take out most of the zombies hp, as well as dealing a ton of damage to boss. Finishing the zombies off will give you MP, as will charge and ethers. Use high and x-potions to heal. If one of your characters has like 500 HP, use a balance mote to do some severe damage. The boss will cast something that can do 1k-2k damage to everyone, so try and keep everyone above that if at all possible (bubble belts help here, an accessory that doubles your hp). The problem with this strategy is that it really depends on concurrences...if you waste a quickening without being able to trigger a concurrence, the combination of zombies and boss attacks can wipe the party very quickly.

You know there's three statues right? All three have to point to the giant statue in the middle to make the path open up.

The level 5 hunts are pretty tough, especially since you can deal with 'adds' (or extra monsters showing up besides the boss). I just fought the Antlion, and he had maybe 5 or 6 Mantis guards that were level 41...not an easy fight for my level 33 crew. I'm getting annoyed with this in some of the later optional bosses...one stops you from using magic, one has a 5 minute time limit and doesn't seem to be hurt by physical attacks. One of the marks will just up and make himself completely invulnerable when he's near death, and leaves you with a few second window inbetween the buff turning off and him turning it back on again. Very annoying.

Wii Sports is pretty hilarious. The boxing game is really fun, everyone got a kick out of it. It seems like the perfect set of games for both kids and adults to enjoy, which makes it a nice packaged title. The little avatars (mii's) are a cute little touch as well, we had fun just designing ourselves.

I think it's great that someone named E.J. Cox is defending the guy. -
For some really nice LP milking, there's an accessory called "Golden Amulet". It doubles all LP gains. You can get it from killing the Mark from the Garif village (mark II), or you can wait until it starts being sold in stores a few hours after. I liked killing the Sandpeople in the Yensa sea, but any lower level area should be fine for building up LP. You'll kick the shit out of the Mark I hunts right now. The Hunts give pretty good loot and items, I recommend just trying em all. They make for some fun battles.

You can buy teleport stones from any airship...just drop 200 gil for a flight at the Aerodome and choose "Leisure Craft" instead of "Private Cabin". Espers you have to defeat to get. Once you defeat them, they open up on the license board. Every time you use a quickening, other characters quickenings are randomly shown. But sometimes you might not have the mist to use any of them (say your characters are all out of mist, or a bunch of rank three quicks appear when you can only cast rank 1). That's when you shuffle...just shuffle until a mist charge or a usable quickening appears.

Hah, we're all around the same place in the game. I think the Ring of Toad is for someone in the Giza village during dry season. I managed to kill the Earth Tyrant and the Ringwyrm (mark III). The fights were pretty ridiculous though, I think the Earth Tyrant killed everyone except for Ashe, and I used up every high potion and ether I had during the fight. Quickenings are so useful once you get the hang of chaining them up. I have every character with three now. It seems like the best way to make long chains is to start with a rank 1 quickening....that way the caster will has two more potential quickenings they can use without having to Mist Charge. Higher chains produce a lot more damage...a 4 chain might dish out 6000 dmg, while an 11 chain can hit for 20000+. Very useful, especially for finishing off a boss or mark.
