I STILL play 2k5. I just update the rosters myself. A bit of a pain, but better than the shitty gameplay of Madden. I made Cadillac Williams and I'm just running wild with the Bucs. Ended up signing Lavar Arrington....him and Derrick Brooks are an insane pair of OLBs, I terrorize every backfield.

With the 54th pick in the 2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select... Martin Nance, WR, Miami (Ohio) Strengths: Has tremendous size and a big frame...Is a major threat in the red zone...Is underrated athletically...Good leaper who knows how to go up and get the ball...Has big, strong, reliable hands...Will make the acrobatic catch...Physical and knows how to use his body...Tough player who is more than willing to go over the middle...Solid route runner...Intangibles are top notch...Very productive. Weaknesses: May not always play up to his timed speed...Is not very quick...Isn't an explosive athlete...Could have trouble getting separation against pro defensive backs...Probably won't be a major deep threat at the pro level...Will lose focus at times...Has missed some time due to injury...If he doesn't run well in workouts teams may downgrade his upside to that of a #2 or possession receiver. KC needs some youth at WR. Nance is huge, and along with Gonzo and Larry Johnson the KC attack could be absolutely montrous in the red zone. If the defense stuffs the box with eigth people, toss a fade to Gonzo or Nance. If they put coverage on either, let LJ do his thing. This could be a really big help in some potential shootouts with the other high powered offenses in their division.

The Hippies are great. The look on their faces when Phil said they were 5th was wonderful. Also, how lost did that moron Lake get? They had to have been hours ahead of the hippies. Maybe his beard gave him powers. Also, Amazing Race is the only show that makes me yell at the tv. Example: JUST FUCKING JUMP ALREADY BITCH! Fran's pathetic leap did make me laugh though.

From Pinjockey... With the 39th overall pick, the Tennessee Titans select... D'Qwell Jackson, LB, Maryland Strengths: Incredibly instinctive and smart football player who is like an extra coach on the field...Is a pretty good natural athlete and has a burst...Makes plays sideline-to-sideline and has good range...Is a sure tackler...Very solid in coverage...Has a lot of experience...Possesses great intangibles and has a fire in his belly that drives him to be the best...Was extremely productive and is always around the ball. Weaknesses: Lacks ideal size...Doesn't have great timed speed...Will struggle to shed blockers...Can be engulfed and handled by players who are much bigger than he is...Could stand to hit the weights and get stronger...Is not really a lights-out hitter...Might need to be in the right scheme to succeed at the next level. He seems to be the #1 ILB in the draft, so a solid 2nd round pick for the Titans.

With the 38th overall pick, the Oakland Raiders select... Ko Simpson, S, South Carolina Strengths: Has good size and a solid frame...Very productive and a standout throughout his two year career...Always around the action and has a nose for the ball...Is equally effective as a ballhawk in coverage and in supporting the run...Physical and a good tackler...Good ball skills...Has great instincts...Improving and has upside. Weaknesses: Might not have elite timed speed and needs to run well in workouts to solidify a high grade...Older than the average prospect with his experience and will be a 23-year-old rookie in '06...Might not be quite the pro prospect his college press clippings would lead you to believe...Has only played two years of college ball. A bit of a reach here, but the guy is a player and I think he'll project really well in the pros. He fills a big need for the Raiders, and should be able to help out right away.

I think the Steelers are more likely to grab Martin Nance in round 2. The guy was Ben's #1 target at Miami of Ohio, is a huge target, and plays like Hines Ward. It's not like Randel-El did so much for them last year that he needs replacement this badly, over an RB.
-
I'm fine with round two. Aww, Whitner is gone. Here's a great pic I found of him though. I'm pretty sure he's raping Betts there.

Nah, I think the situation is a little tougher than that. If Favre leaves, they have no one backing up Rodgers; presumably they would have made a run at a Joey Harrington or Josh Mccown type to push Rodgers and compete for the job. But since Favre has waffled until now, there's no vets left to pick up (unless the Pack gets Slash or some other has-been).

Don't feed the troll.

How would this work? What could actually stop Superman for five minutes? Unless every other thug somehow has Kryptonite.

Thanks for making the pick for me man. I suggest that everyone send a few picks to the person ahead of them, just to speed things up a bit. It worked well for me. ANd man, Young to Moss! I'd be ecstatic if the draft goes this way. Leinart is Tennessee is something I want to happen as well, but I'm guessing the Jets trade up with the extra pick they got from the Abraham trade.

First ep I've seen this season, and that was great. "Rise my friend", that's some good shit right there Phil. Lake is a douche and unentertaining. Colin and that crazy guy who almost hit his wife were so much better. The Hippies are great. Anyone who is obviously not a bowling mom yet wears a bowling mom shirt is cool. Monica has tremendous hoo hoo dillies. Glad someone else noticed the creepy overusage of dang. I don't know anyone who actually says dang.

If you need someone for the Raiders, I'm there.

The "poison pills" in the Burleson contract are hilarious. Check this shit out. I'm really hope someone signs another Vikings restricted FA that guarantees the contract if the player's home jersey contains more than 50% purple.
-
That's shockingly high considering what Culpepper went for. Go figure.

I love Randy Moss, but the guy's injury problems have really limited him the last two seasons. Hopefully he'll be rested up and all good this year, but if he isn't then he's just a chronic injury concern and won't break any of Rice's records. I kind of really hope that someone like Vince Young drops to the Raiders just so teams will have to key on someone other than Randy and free up some room downfield. Then again, won't matter much if the Raiders defense still sucks ass.

I totally forgot this show was back. What did I miss this season?
-
It kinda makes sense. Why pay Joey freaking Harrington 4 million? McNown/Kitna/King combined probably make less than that.
-
The Saints arent drafting a QB, thats why i spent a big fat check on Drew Brees. They most likely, and should do is go after DBrickashaw. He will help block for Brees. I meant Leinart to the Titans. I'll edit that above too, and pretend that little typo never happened. The Texans are going for Bush because he's considered a once-in-a-lifetime player. Servicable backs can be found pretty easily, Thomas Jones or Chester Taylor type guys are always going to be available in free agency. Apparently a guy like Bush isn't so easy to obtain.
-
I thought the Jets had a giant boner for Jay Cutler. I'd rather see Cutler go to the Jets, Leinart to the Titans, and Young to the Raiders (Young to Moss = funny).
-
Fuck the Vikings. I'll take any team other than them. KC I guess? Or whatever other team isn't claimed. Stupid Vikes should have just taken Chris Henry.
-
Yeah, I was shocked at the Martin resignation. Crazy Martin. Who the heck will be leader now, Dosanjh? Goodale? Stronach (ewwwwwww)?

There's a sandbox mode where you can turn off most of the micromanagement and just make films. In terms of the films themselves, they have to be limited; there's hundreds of scenes with different ways to shoot/film each, and many variants, but there isn't a way to insert any random thing that pops into your head. If they tried to allow that, the process would end up getting really complicated. I thought their streamlined approach worked pretty well.

The game is definately fun. It's pretty amusing making all sorts of bizarro movies. I made a "Han Solo vs Spock" movie, with a pretty accurate Spock. Good times.

Anyone see the credits? Richter is credited 4 or 5 times.
