Hey, I don't have to make picks and thus can't lose this week! WHOOOOOO
-
that's the best part <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree completely.

Hee hee. Who else thought it was hilarious that Raycroft had to hide in his own net because of debris being thrown on the ice by Bruins fans? It reminded me of the Simpsons episode about the pretzels. "And heeeeerrrrrrrrreee come the miniature Stanley Cups!"

You forget what division they play in. Isn't Chicago in the lead with 1 win?

I was dying after that "Take this and love us!" bit. God, that show is so good. -
Madden - "We just rubbed off." *silence*

Lindsay's chicken dance sounds like she's saying "Cha-chi" over and over. Ooh, foreshadowing. -
...New Zealand Story? What's that all about?

Picking late hasn't seemed to matter for me, hooray for 0-3! Minnesota - 24 Buffalo at New Orleans 0.5 Denver at Jacksonville 4.5 Detroit at Tampa Bay 6.5 Houston at Cincinnati 10.5 7.5 Indianapolis at Tennessee San Diego at New England 5.5 Seattle at Washington 1.5 St. Louis at N.Y. Giants 3.5 N.Y. Jets at Baltimore 7.5 Dallas at Oakland 3.5 Minnesota at Atlanta 6.5 Philadelphia at Kansas City 2.5 San Francisco at Arizona 2.5 Green Bay at Carolina 7.5

I just assumed she was retarded. The whole "stupid member of the family", the fact she never admitted to actually teaching that class and talked about "sneaking away" during naptime, etc. "Michael falls for a retard" is a fairly funny premise for a story. Somehow they found a step down from his pathological liar flame. Perhaps in Season 4 he can fall for a midget. -
I have to agree, partially because the last half hour really came off to me as just sort of random batshit insanity for the sake of random batshit insanity. Even after I read some theories on what the ending was about I still thought it was just Miike insanity. Everything up to that is pretty good, though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know about it being "not that messed up". It was pretty fucked up by the end. It's overrated if you know what you're getting into when you watch it. Tell someone it's a great little romantic comedy before they watch it, and it becomes incredible. Half the point is to watch it blindly.

I thought the game was awesome until the story just totally falls apart about 3/4 of the way through. Very unfortunate, because the game was a breath of fresh air. Hopefully it sells ok and the engine can be used for a game with a better story.

Vikings - 21 (I weep for the offense) Atlanta at Buffalo 2.5 - assuming Vick is out 3.5 Carolina at Miami 2.5 Cincinnati at Chicago Cleveland at Indianapolis 13.5 - 14 points is kinda nuts, but the Browns lack corners Jacksonville at N.Y. Jets 2.5 New Orleans at Minnesota 4.5 Oakland at Philadelphia 8.5 3.5 Tampa Bay at Green Bay Tennessee at St. Louis 6.5 Arizona at Seattle 6.5 6.5 Dallas at San Francisco New England at Pittsburgh 3.5 N.Y. Giants at San Diego 5.5 Kansas City at Denver 2.5

BG1 was so great back in the day, but I find it pretty hard to play now. Same with a game like Fallout, it just doesn't work. BG2, though, that game is sexcellent. <3 Jaheira.

It's funny because Maybe has been into Steve Holt since the beginning of Season 2, until her mom got in the way. Also, I hope they continue her career as a producer. -
It was pretty funny seeing hunters deliberately spread the plague in Orgrimmar. Being level 57 it barely did anything to me, but that 200 damage per second could just demolish a lowbie. I imagine there will be a patch today to fix that up.

The sad camping pose was almost as good as the "head down walk" from season 2. Fun episode. Had to love the Mad Money bit, the claptrap joke, Maybe ending up with the wrong cousin. Excellent stuff. -
I feel bad for the Saints. At their "home" game they have to deal with what amounts to a completely hostile crowd. When they were backed up on their own 5 for a drive, they were taking false start penalties due to crowd noise, pretty weak. Good work Tagliabue. Did anyone else notice Theisman and Macguire laughing behind Tagliabue during his booth interview?
-
I was elated when I realized I could actually watch the late game tonight, since Theisman's craptastic crew was off. Tirico and Sharpe were excellent, about a zillion times better than the garbage usually spewed on Sunday Night.

It's not really a Koei thing. If you read ROTK, the guy who wrote it was a huge Shu mark. Koei is just kind of sticking to the story, like tritec said. If they went the historical route, the game would be a lot different. Sun Jian would be a total loser, Liu Bei would be about as ambitious as Cao Cao, etc. I thought Wu was fun in DW4...Lu Meng was actually quite solid, Taishi Ci was fun, etc. Who was that little strategist kid with the two swords? He was all kinds of terrible. Maybe the worst character in that game, zero range.

Everyone seems to be shitting on Phoenix. It seems to me that they could be solid. Their coaching is a bit of a crapshoot, but Wayne generally surrounds himself with excellent people (as a player he had guys who complemented his skills, as a GM he had a ton of knowledge and experience around him). They could do really well, potentially winning their division.

I love how one manager hasn't touched his team since August 8. Way to waste a spot, you bastard.

This is HILARIOUS. Come on, it's like seeing a formerly great player getting pushed around in the minors. Fun times.
