The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
LaParkaMarka replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
I thought Harm was great in Season 5. Good enough for opening credits. I thought Parker was kind of funny. Buffy was so retarded at the beginning of Season 4. And I figured Rona (the how-to people) was more hated than either Kendra or Parker. -
Yeah, I noticed that too, during Amber's milking session. Rob kept telling her to work it and saying "oh yeah" and whatnot. Ah, Amazing Race Editor, you cheeky monkey.

Meredith and Gretchen are useless. They need to go away. The Dudes were awesome. Sad to see em go. "Big bucks no whammies!" was wonderful. The entire time Kelly was fighting with Ron, her funbags were a-twitter. I approve. And let's hope they don't put them on a freaking train in India, again.

Sonic has been ruined forever by furries.

And he fed the leftovers to his dog. His dog. Come on. Speaking of which, what's up with acclaimed graphic novels and dogs eating people? Sin City had it, Watchmen had it. Come to think of it, both ate females too.

Satan's spawn? Eastcoast White Trash? Jeez. Rob and Amber aren't that bad.

I just rewatched the 2nd ep of season 5. Good stuff, it's fun to notice things you missed the first time. Like Spike saying he doesn't give a bollucks about destiny, or Lorne saying that selling a story about a Vampire Slayer loving and losing two Vampires would sell in a heartbeart ("I see Depp and Bloom [playing Angel and Spike]"). Good stuff. -
When a programmer says something can't be done, it's only true maybe half the time. The rest of the time, we're just lazy.

How could you not like Gaius??? He's like MVP++ of that show. The scene where Starbuck walked in on him while he was "with Six" was hilarious. Adama is cool. Apollo is a bit of a douche, but I still enjoyed the blatant Trench Run ripoff ep. Starbuck is cute and I want to bang her. The stuff with the Asian robot on the planet is kinda blah. Some of the side characters are just kinda there (black chick, the assistant to the prez, the engineer, etc). But overall I really enjoy the show.

The Patriots need to sign him. They must be stopped.

Oh, it did have some fairly cheesy lines. Like what the blonde says to Clive Owen after he leaves, that elicited a groan from my theater. But hey, kudos to them for not changing the dialogue.

That movie was fucking badass. It better do well at the Box Office, or I hate everyone. Wonderfully violent, sadistically amusing. And how could you not get a kick out of "You should have flushed"? Benicio Del Toro was brilliant.

Ray and Deanna. Good riddance, Ray was such a piece of trash. At least Jonathan showed some sympathy for Victoria/random kids ("WHO WANTS CANDY???"). BoloDouche was a dick the entire way through. You have to wonder who the hell they can get to top Colin/Douche/BoloDouche. Maybe a team of Augusto Pinochet and Slobodan Milosovic. Romber not stopping = the right thing to do. Amber + straw = thumbs up. Had to wonder why Lynn and Alex didn't do the water task. Guess they enjoy pounding more than sucking. The Dudes were indeed great. I marked for the "Don't do drugs" line, and you can't help but cheer for a team that can go through the adversity that they went through and still win. Then again, I hate the old people, so there goes that theory. If Romber can't win, the Dudes are definately the team I want with that million bucks.

I don't think they're targeting the right market here. They want to make the layout easier such that non-gamers aren't intimidated by control schemes. Ok, but what kind of person sees a console controller as overly complex? A computer is a heck of a lot more complex, and most kids are growing up with a controller or keyboard or both in their hands. So they're going after an older market, or maybe the female 18-40 types who didn't grow up with a computer. That's weak.

I could have sworn they did, and I got really mad about it. But I could be having an Amazing Race-related hallucination or something.

I always thought coupling the FF with a non-elim leg was retarded. What's the penalty for going for the FF and failing? The robbery isn't even that bad, most teams have come out with extra money from begging.

Don't say that We've already lost the fun lesbos. Depending on how serious the Brothers' accident is, they could easily go out. Rolling a car is never good.

Fischer has been insane way longer than before 9/11. But yeah, he basically thought 9/11 was great. Besides, chess isn't a measure of intelligence.
-
James Woods. I may not like every movie he's in, but the man is awesome. He takes these garbage nothing characters and makes them great, like Lester Diamond from Casino. Willem Dafoe is somewhat similar too.

It's a brilliant episode. I remember when the rumors of a puppet ep started up, most of the people on this forum (myself included) thought it was going to be a disaster. Amazing that it was pulled off to perfection. Also, I'm surprised no one has been freaking out about how great the evil puppets were. The main one with his mickey, the Hornblower guy, the chick ("Give me those pretty eyes!"). Great stuff. -
...Bastard. He would have been a great Randy Moss replacement. And, he has the same exact attitude of Randy Moss. Imagine that. That's why I really liked him for the Vikes. They should have some experience with handling that kind of player, know what works and what doesn't work, and not screw him up. He easily has the potential of all of the other wideouts in the draft, minus that Matt Jones freak. He can play behind Burleson/Robinson/Taylor, get some experience, and provide a nice big redzone target for those Culpepper fades.

No worries, it's still a funny pick since Cena was probably looking to get Miller anyways.

Wow, didn't the Broncos just sign Stephen Alexander to a deal, on top of the big 12.5 mil they threw at Jeb Putzier?
