I was annoyed that all the teams got there around the same time, as wet Hayden didn't get nearly enough camera time. Brilliant idea for the end of a pit stop, kudos to the producers. I'm sad to see the wrestlers go out, I thought Bolo was a nice guy. Guess reading the clue is pretty important.

I was just chatting with a friend about the Randy Moss rumors. I was listing a bunch of teams that were supposedly after them, and he said Moss should go to the Eagles. We both had a laugh about that. Then I thought about Moss going to the Pats. Randy Moss. On the Patriots. This thought terrifies me.

I'm pretty sure he was the D-Coordinator. Seems like a decent hire to me.

But Randy Moss isn't playing, they need to show someone 40 billion times a game on the sideline.

That was a really smart move, getting Rebecca and Adam to yield Freddy and Kendra. Almost kept em in the race. Adam is very dumb, he reminds me of some kind of retarded puppy. Rebecca is very hot.

The Edge to Miami rumors have been around for a while. Say they do get him or Travis Henry, what then? I imagine Saban will want a franchise QB to build around, maybe Smith or Rodgers?

Why do both mocks have the Vikes taking a D-lineman? They seem to have more of a glaring need in their linebacker corps, especially if Claiborne takes off in Free Agency. Maybe Free Safety too, replace Russell.

EA has exclusive rights to the Arena League too. The only other football game announced is based off the Playmakers show. That could actually be a fun alternative to Madden. I want to be able to able to fool the Piss Man using a hilariously disgusting urine transplant.

I think it's more to draw in the fans of the ESPN series, and maybe to steal some of the presentation elements of ESPN like the recap show etc.

I think you learned a hilarious lesson on why not to pad stats. Good times. Since this has already gone somewhat off-topic, I need new sliders. Right now, I have the computer at "legend" (125% of the all-pro sliders) while I kept all the human stuff at all-pro level. In my 3rd or 4th season with the Titans, I absolutely clobbered the Browns 72-3. How can I make the computer better without them being cheap?

You know, it's going to be sad when Visual Concepts has to let most of their staff go, and they're going to end up getting 80 hour work weeks at EA. This is so fucking terrible. I don't think I'll ever buy an EA football game, 2k5 can last me a while. I hope the user community will find a way to get some new content up for next season...there has to be a way to find out the format ESPN used for their player database etc.

When their PBP guy was out at the beginning of the season, IIRC Pat Summerall took over temporarily as the PBP guy. Then the crew was quite tolerable.

Dr. Z is great. I thought the Fox crew was the best of the lot until the Minnesota game too, that was pretty sad. I don't mind Collinsworth, and Aikman isn't useless. Buck can go eat a bag of crap though. I was also delighted to see Z rip into the garbage ESPN crew. The only time they're funny is when they start trashing each other. "What do you know? What do you know about the running game?" *said in complete disdain by one announcer to another* Ah, one ESPN gaffe I remember well. During the Raiders/Broncos snow game, they start blathering on about how the Broncos will not allow any completions over the middle. Very next play, Porter burns Bailey in the middle for a TD. Very amusing.

Is it just me, or is AR way more screamy this season? I wouldn't have minded seeing Juggs go out, she can be annoying. Though Kendra is much worse. I bet Kris can give one mean BJ.

Tony Dungy said it's an old tradition that GB fans will moon a losing team's bus at it leaves. He thought the whole thing was pretty funny.

Has em all. Plus you can play as the "loser" generic generals like Wang Lang and whatnot, so there's actually more characters. I love Empires, but DW4 is a more complete game. I think it's greatest hits, so it won't set you back too much. Or just wait for DW5.

Their wideouts are fine, it's tough when two of them are injured. You know, the Green Bay defense is getting a lot of flak for this game, but it seemed like (outside of Carroll) they played fairly well considering. It's not their fault the offense kept turning the ball over and not giving them a chance to rest. The stuff they did in the 3rd quarter, stopping the Vikes from scoring any points despite ridiculous field position, that was pretty solid.
