I think Covenant seems like the better choice for me then. I just read a review of Growlanser Generations over at IGN. Anyone play it? Looks like it could be cool.

I actually need a new RPG too. Shin Megumi Tensei or Shadow Hearts: Covenant? Or are there other good new PS2 RPGs?

Then go get Baldur's Gate, hippie. The Second one (Shadows of Amn) and its expansion pack are better than the first game, but if you play the first one you'll appreciate SOA more. Not only is it a fun game, it's hella cheap now... It's damn fun taking one character all the way through BG1, BG2, and Throne of Bhaal. Really really cheap, too. Great humor, fun gameplay, brilliant voice acting. Highly recommended.

For sure, man. If the team won either of those two games, you'd be in.

Wow, rough episode. That counting one must have been brutal. And Lena rolling 100 hay barrells in 8 hours? That's just such bad luck for them. Phil even had to do the dreaded on-site elimination. Jonathan actually showed some concern from Victoria during the hay thing. Shocking. I think Rebecca is the cutest girl left. I think Bolo is actually a fairly nice guy. I think the Token Old Couple are great (the old man reminds me of Kansas City Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil). I like Gus and Hera. I hate the generic models who suck (Freddy and whoever?). I shall miss Lena's tits.

Real good game, when I was expecting a blowout. Champ was schooled out there by Porter, that was a pretty weak showing from a supposedly shutdown corner.

What...what happened on that two-point conversion? Had to love that snow angel celebration after the amazing one-handed catch, though.

The ESPN announcers are so terrible. So, so terrible. Pretty decent game with the Broncos/Raiders though. Snow games are always fun.

I don't understand the Giants. They have Tiki Barber. Barber is good. Yet, in the red zone, early in the game, they throw three straight passes. Then, next time they're in the red zone with a 1st and goal at the three, they throw again. I mean, why not give it to Barber? The man has proven he can be a goal-line back. I'm a Vikes fan too. But it can be depressing on this board, like last year. Stupid Josh McNown.

What about Tim Couch? Did he just give up on football and balloon up to 400 lbs or something? He sucks, but I'm sure he's better than a retired Jeff George.

I played it at a friend's place. It's fun, but...I dunno. I absolutely loved Prime 1, I thought it was the best console game of the generation at the time. Brilliant. But Prime 2, from the little I played, just doesn't seem to add all that much. The whole light world/dark world thing has been done to death. I mean, pretty much every Zelda game has it, and now Metroid? There must have been some better ideas than that for a sequel. And the pseudo-Zombie aspect is just so RE. If I wanted zombies, I wouldn't play Metroid. Multiplayer was alright, but after playing Halo 2 it just doesn't measure up. Not a whole lot of maps either, and no way to select a color scheme for Samus = lame. I mean, it's enjoyable...don't get me wrong. Solid game. But it's really just more of the same. I maybe set my expectations a little high.
