Keyshawn could work with the Jets. Him and Santana Moss would make a solid duo, with Chrebet around for support. Conway isn't really working out there, right?

Actress Liv Tyler Given Strict Ultimatum
LaParkaMarka replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
150 lbs is quite a bit more than 125. If the weight all went to her gut or something, then I could see why execs would want her to shed a few pounds. Lovehandles = not sexy. That aside, Liv is gorgeous, and I imagine she still looks good at 150. She's pretty tall, right? -
There are guys who are guaranteed to put up good numbers. People like Todd Bertuzzi will score consistently as well as putting up good PP and PIM numbers. IMHO, those guys are the stud RBs of Fantasy Hockey. Anyone who gets PP time is also useful, for obvious reasons. You don't need a ton of great players to win this league. It definately makes the field more wide-open then the FF league we have.

The Storm/Ephedras game is still in doubt. With the score that close, you have to wait till the middle of the week to see if any stats change. In one of my games, I was awarded a win on the Friday after. Same with the Team 2000 and Rattlesnakes match, which definately has playoff implications. A win by Boston pulls the pack closer together by dropping down Team 2000. And hey, Maui wins! Go figure.

Yeah, that's the thing with hockey. Guys completely off the radar like Fata can score respectable points, and no one will notice. Then when you try to trade that guy for a known underachiever, people refuse because they have at least heard of the underachiever. Not good. So, Kariya finally comes back, then injures his wrist again. Bah. Can we have two guys on IR?

FF12 revealed (broadband-sized picture inside)

The "lizard thing" looks to be a Bangaa, a race recently introduced in FFTA. Kind of interesting, makes ya wonder if the other FFTA races are going to show up. -

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
LaParkaMarka replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
"Leave the glasses on" was pure gold. Gotta love the Lilah/Wes romance. Back when Wes was all BROODY~ and TWEENER~. I must say I liked Fred/Gunn. Probably at the same level as I enjoyed Xander/Cordy or Xander/Anya. Not too bad at all. -
The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

That was a fun ep. Wesley bumbling around reminded me of Buffy season 3. I also marked out for the "sex with robots" line, as well as Angel and Spike trying to relate to Wesley's pseudo-patricide. Plus it's always fun to see Wesley get all tortured about Fred. Maybe he'll turn heel and hang Knox from a meat hook in the middle of the lab or something. I could see Heel Wes doing that. -
Would he really help the Ravens? I mean, you need someone to throw the ball to the guy. I was thinking Jets, but the other Moss has stepped up and announcers were speculating that they would go after T.O in the offseason. Would he help the Bills? I haven't seen them since week 2, so I'm not sure what the heck is wrong with that offense. But Johnson could be a step up from Shaw or Reed.

One and ONLY Joe Schmo Season Finale Thread...
LaParkaMarka replied to Mik's topic in Television & Film
So was I, that was pretty freaking lame. The little pop-up bubbles were kind of amusing though. "There were two reasons Molly was hired for this role, and this performance was not one of them." -
Second place. I am the highest scoring team in the league by about 30 points. And I am very pleased I chose to not trade away Trent Green.
-
The first thing I thought of was the Ravens signing Akili Smith. I can't believe someone else thought of that too. This really sucks for the Ravens, and opens the door for everyone else in the AFC North. If the Ravens can get someone at all competent in, they could pull it out.
-
GB would have won if it weren't for those fumbles, which is really unfortunate. Hard to believe Ahman Green et al could rack up the yards yet only score 14 points. Green Bay seems like a lesser version of the Chiefs, really. Their offense is great, but they can't make mistakes due to the iffy D. They made mistakes tonight and lost to a team they should have beaten.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I loved how he ate her food at well. I also loved: -the scene at the door when he pantomimed fucking her mom -fisting the mailbox -the entire intersection scene, complete with the mom doing the cliched angry teen who wants to date someone her mom disapproves of spiel -the heart-to-heart at the guy's apartment, where he trashes her inability to orgasm -the entire thing, really. God damn, that movie was GOLD. Too bad the subject header gives a bit away.

I could see the Chiefs blowing one of the "easy" games. The Chiefs are good, but the D did give up a lot of points to an offense that didnt even have their starting RB. If Green or Priest both have a bad day, it could be lights out.
-
It was kind of funny hearing the announcers talk about how scared, frightened, and confused Chris Redman was. It was like they put some retiree with Alzheimer's into the game. Jamal Lewis' 2 fumbles didn't exactly help out either.
-
That was awesome. I mean...so awesome. Thanks for the wicked link man.

McNair is better than Green. The Titan WRs are better than the Chiefs WRs. Stop harping on this. I personally think the Chiefs are a better team than the Titans, but you don't see me making 10 posts about it.

Crazy decision by Spurrier to go for it on 4th and 1 on *his own* 20 with a few mins left, it didn't backfire and eventually they get the TD. Seahawks come back, drive down to the 30 with 40 secs left, then a deflected pass into an INT. Brutal, Skins win.

GTA used to be a "lead star" for ps2, but now it's on X-Box as well. Nintendo did try for a grittier, more adult line of games to compliment the kiddy stuff. That was Resident Evil, which was GC exclusive.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I liked the truce as well. It made sense, as the speech by the one councilmember in Reloaded foreshadowed this: the whole "We need machines, and machines need us" thing. I really hated that kid by the end. His little "The war is over! Neo did it!" thing really pissed me off. How do you know, you tard? For all he knew, the machines were just pulling back in order to drop 50 drills over the temple or something. Trin's death scene took 10 years, glad to see others railing on that. I think one of the reasons people think Neo is alive is due to the cheesy lines: Girl: "Will we ever see Neo again? Oracle: "I think this isn't the last time we'll see him" (something along those lines) I was pretty annoyed with the small part of the Merovingian, and the complete absense of the Twins, who rocked in Reloaded. They also didn't really explain the relationship between Seraph and Merovingian. "The prodigal sun has returned", the Judas line...did they explicitly explain that anywhere? Smith calling Oracle "Mom"...what was that about? Because she was the "mother" of the Matrix? I thought Revolutions was ok, but disappointing. Nothing in it came close to the sequence from Merovingian's restaurant through the mansion through the highway, that just blew me away last time. The Zion battle paled in comparison.
-
People have been asking why: Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Neo can "see" the machines. They explained that by saying that Neo is connected to the Source. That's why he could "see" that machine city, since they are all presumably came from the Source.
