It's a statistical category that IS important. How many teams have won a playoff position by a single point from a tie? A lot. Besides, they worked hard for that tie, and deservedly so. Thus it should be classified. And it's the person who has the most totals for that category that gets a point. Which is why I'm currently up 11-1 against the Leafs. Ok, think about it like this. Your teams goalies win ever game that week. Yay! Your opponents' goalies tie every game that week. Yet in terms of points in the fantasy league, both teams will be tied (your team wins the wins, they win ties, you tie for losses). Maybe I'm in the minority here, but this is wrong. Ties shouldn't have the same weight as wins, not by a longshot.

Well, that whole thing doesn't make a lot of sense. Why doesn't he just fall through the floor if he's insubstatial? Maybe chairs and floors don't count in the Buffyverse.

Ok, so my opponent gets a tie. Having more ties counts as a point? That is bizarre. Games started seems like a weird stat to keep as well. Could we change it to stick with just Wins, maybe? Or Wins/Losses? That seems better.

I think the whole span of Buffy and Angel after Willow/Faith go back to Sunnydale could have been over the span of a week or so. Of course, maybe we can assume that there was some time inbetween the end of Angel and him showing up in Sunny D. It does seem like Buffy after Faith showed up took longer than a week though. You know what's weird? That Spike is able to vamp up, even though he's a ghost. That just seems odd.

Just because Angel's season was 2 weeks doesn't mean that Buffy's had to have been two weeks as well.

I thought Harmony would be kind of lame too, but she's been great. Her reaction to Spike/Buffy was cute. Gotta feel for everyone's favorite ditzy vamp. Speaking of her, I recently saw the slo-mo fight between her and Xander. GOLD, I say.

Interesting how you noticed what Spike and Angel like in their women. But if Spike followed that pattern he should have gone after Willow. I was kinda disappointed by this ep. Spike was pretty funny, but it's almost as if we got a bit of a Spike overdose here. I don't think I like the idea of Spike as the wacky ghost sidekick. But that'll probably change in a few eps, I'm sure. I think I like Gunn's role as lawyer guy now...he can pull it off fairly well. Fred's legs again had a prominent place. I am pleased by this.

And just to piss you off, the Bengals will score 40 points and you'll lose by tiebreaker. Sorry, hard cold facts always bear out true in the end. The Bengals have a bye this week.

I tells ya, the thoughts I had about that woman in she was in Prince's "Get Off" and "Diamond and Peals" video....the thoughts I had. Jenny > Lilah. Hell, Jenny > Willow. Bah, wish I had a teacher like that.

Rant needs someone to take over one of the teams in our league. If you're interested in that, PM him or something.

If this was a keeper league, you might want to keep the guy. But he most likely won't be back for a while, so why keep him? Just a waste of space when every other team has an extra player putting up extra points.

It's funny, because you didn't even bother starting a defense and your team and Isaac Bruce had the week off. Crazy fantasy football.

FFTA's story is really lame, especially if you're expecting something akin to the extremely awesome FFT story. The gameplay is pretty decent though.

I very much noticed that too. They had some gratituous leg shots last season, but it was even more blatant this ep. Which is great, because Fred is a total cutie (as long as she isn't giving some overly dramatic speech). I fully support them in the opening credits. And is anyone else not suprised that Rudo called for the Beast's return? I'm posting an oldie but goodie in honor of this.

Bisch is really quite a sympathetic character though, due to his constant humiliations. I think that negates some of the smarmy asshole-ishness. It's definately easier to empathize with Coach/Bisch than JR/Austin. Coach turning actually made perfect sense, which is pretty weird for WWE.

The Ritual Sacrifices gag was straight outta Simpsons(the Automated 911). It was still GREAT though. I was marking out throughout that ep. Harmony brought the comedy, Fred brought numerous shots of her legs for no apparent reason, Angel brought the ass kicking. Fred's little speech was pretty lame though. So who thinks Knox is evil? He has to be evil. I loved how Harmony no-sold the Cordy thing halfway through her little lament. Great stuff. I am so glad this show is back for another season.

Yashin is a perennial underachiever. Last season he was actually put on the third line to punish him. He's too talented to waive, but you might want to try for a trade. Vinnie Lecavalier kicks much ass. He's a keeper. Tkachuk should play well this year, no clue about Friesen. Hejduk is great, but Bure has messed up knees. Look to trade or even waive the guy and pick up a better winger. Kolzig is ok, but Roloson won't give you more than half of the starts from the Wild. Try and get Manny Fernandez if he's on waivers. If he isn't, maybe try trading him to whoever has him. In the meantime, check to see if a guy like Hackett or Aesbischer is available on waivers.
