I'll break this into two posts, one with predictions and another answering the questions. Thanksgiving: Tennessee @ Detroit: Bah to the Jets for ruining the epic undefeated vs. winless matchup. Ah well, the Titans will be really, really pissed off and Daunte Culpepper may not make it out alive. Tennessee by 21. Seattle @ Dallas: Cowboys look somewhat back on track against scrubs at least, and Seattle certainly qualifies as a scrub. Dallas by 14. Arizona @ Philly: Okay, the Eagles are a complete debacle right now but yet for whatever reason I think McNabb rallies the troops for this one. Besides, the Cardinals suck when they travel east. Eagles by 4. Sunday: San Francisco @ Buffalo: I was wrong about the Bills last week, but not this week. It's also the notorious west coast team going east syndrome. Bills by 10. Carolina @ Green Bay: Carolina is done playing losers for the most part and they have yet to prove they can beat anyone decent on the road. Packers still qualify as decent...I guess. Green Bay by 7. Giants @ Washington: Not buying the Redskins at all, their record is better than it should be with that +2 differential. Giants by 9. Colts @ Browns: It's the usual deal here...the Colts cannot afford to lose this game. It might be the usual struggle since the Browns can play fairly well at times. Indy by 6. Ravens @ Bengals: Ravens look back on track and should keep it going here. This is another game where a contender can't afford to lose. In fact I think the Ravens win that division, given the Steelers' unreal schedule down the stretch. Ravens by 13. Miami @ St. Louis: At this point playing the Rams is basically a bye week. Dolphins should get back on track and win this by 14. Saints @ Buccaneers: Somehow I doubt Brees will put up 300 yards and 4 TDs against the Tampa defense. Bucs also owe them one from the season opener. Tampa by 5. Atlanta @ San Diego: This is a really, really tough call. The Falcons are a great story but are also capable of puzzling losses (Denver). Chargers at this point are in 100% "We can't lose another game" mode. So with great hesitation I'll take SD by 3. Pittsburgh @ New England: The Steelers have a frightening schedule from here on (after this they have Dallas, Baltimore, and Tennessee left). Cassel is now on a roll for the Pats and they should take this one at home. NE by 7. KC @ Oakland: Oh lord, this is too good to be true. Tyler Thigpen has put up some nice numbers but the Chiefs can't buy a win. Raiders are coming off a beatdown of the Broncos, so they'll keep it going at home. Raiders by 10. Denver @ Jets: Denver is the most puzzling team in the league, one week looking great in beating the Falcons and then getting owned by Oakland. Can't see the Jets losing this one at home though. NYJ by 12. SUNDAY NIGHT: Chicago @ Minnesota: Very tough game to call and the winner has a leg up in the division. Vikings are playing fairly well right now so when in doubt take the home team. Minnesota by 3. MONDAY NIGHT: Jacksonville @ Houston: Stick a fork in the disappointing Jags, they are done. Houston should be better than they are as well. Texans by 7.

Ongoing Impact spoilers for this Thursday
cabbageboy replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
I remember that Dudleys line from 2000 or so, in fact they might have used it in TNA at some point as well. What is this Foley/Shelley stuff leading to? There are better uses of Foley than a match with Shelley I would think. Perhaps Shelley will beg Nash to be his lackey again in the MEM? -
I have an even more bizarre scenario along those lines. Let's say OK State beats OU on Saturday. OU would go from possible national title game to finishing 4th in the Big 12 South. Texas Tech would end up going to the Big 12 title game over Texas (head to head win if both win out) and face Mizzou. We have pondered what would happen if Mizzou won that game, but what if Tech simply wins it? They would be below both Texas and OU in the BCS standings and the Mizzou win isn't so astounding that it would vault them from #7 to 2. There would be no viable way to take either Texas or OU in that scenario since a 1 loss team from the same conf. would be the conf. champion. USC is out for various reasons like being in a mediocre Pac 10 and possibly not even winning that league if Oregon State beats Oregon, not to mention the notion of taking USC over an undefeated Utah team that beat Oregon State.

They might as well have had Jericho win the match tonight since we all know there isn't going to be a title change at Armageddon, so just use Jericho again as high quality fodder. Anyone else find it curious that Jericho beat Orton fairly clean tonight? Though to be honest I'm not sure Jericho got much out of that win given the way he got utterly beat down at the end of the show. Why would this make me want to see Cena vs. Jericho again? Cena has beaten him clean every time he's faced him, and now kicked his ass proper on Raw. Even Hogan would allow King Kong Bundy a heel beat down before the big match. As much as SD is a show with several fun options at the main event level right now, Raw is just the opposite. Once Jericho loses it'll be nothing but combos of Cena/Orton/Batista for the next 6 months and there isn't anything compelling about any combo of those 3 guys. This isn't even bringing up the Shane/Steph angle, which I'm going to ignore for sanity's sake aside from this: There are two shows, Steph can take Raw....Shane can fire Vickie on SD and become GM. This isn't hard.

Hmm...what you describe sounds like something out of Son of Dracula, with a chick that is way into the vampire culture and wants to be one, lusts after it, etc. The thing is, can a film successfully do that storyline with a main female character that is the protagonist?
-
Yeah, while I'm not sure if any of that booking is a good idea the end reaction was in fact what WWE was wanting. For instance, they wanted people to be pissed that Jeff wasn't wrestling. They wanted fans to crap all over that HHH/Kozlov match (which really was a standard TV type match and not a Steiner RR 2003 level debacle).
-
I wonder what kind of staying power Twilight will really have? Did the fans go see it this week and no one will care about it after that, or will more people check it out now that it's a big hit?

And now, to check the predictions: Thurs: CIN @ PIT: I know the Bengals are coming off their epic tie with the Eagles, but the Steelers can't remotely afford to lose to Cincy with some tough games left. Pittsburgh by 12. (This one was easy enough. 1 for 1) Sunday: 1:00 PHI @ BAL: Okay, after that hideous outing against the Bengals I can't in good conscience pick the Eagles to win at Baltimore. Ravens by 5. (Ouch, the hunch was right about Philly but the wheels have completely fallen off. 2 for 2) NYJ @ TEN: Really looking forward to this game. Favre will get close to pulling this one off, but against the Titans D he's probably going to throw a key INT that costs the Jets. Titans keep the awesome undefeated vs. winless scenario alive for Thanksgiving. Tennessee by 7. (Dead wrong about this game. Bravo to the Jets, they were terrific today. 2 for 3) TB @ DET: Ah, speaking of Thanksgiving....Tampa has to beat down the Lions to keep that matchup alive. This could be closer than expected however, since Tampa sucks on the road. Bucs by 6. (Well, as usual the Lions started well and fell apart after that. 3 for 4) MIN @ JAC: Battle of underachievers. I've never been a big fan of the Jags, just find their style of play boring. Minnesota is just what they are, an adequate team that wins some and loses some but could be better than they are if they had a star QB. Regardless, the Jags could be done after the Titans took their manhood, so I'll take the Vikings by 3. (Speaking of the wheels coming off, Eagles meets the Jags. 4 for 5) BUF @ KC: I keep expecting the Chiefs to finally pull off a win, so Zetterberg this pick is for you. Buffalo looks done right now, Chiefs have to win one at home at some point, so I'll take KC by 4. (Thigpen was a nice addition to my fantasy lineup at least, but the Chiefs suck. 4 for 6) CHI @ STL: The Bears got waxed badly at Lambeau, but playing the Rams is a good way to get back on track. Steven Jackson is still hurt, so the Bears should cruise here. Chicago by 14. (This was the expected beatdown. 5 for 7) NE @ MIA: This is by far the hardest game to call of the week. On one hand Miami is winning but look really mediocre in doing so, beating Seattle and Oakland by 2 points each. Pats always struggle in Miami, but will Cassel? This just seems like a scenario where Belichick finds a way to steal one on the road, so I'll take NE by 3. (Don't look now but the Pats are starting to get scary again on offense now that Cassel has hit a groove. 6 for 8) SF @ DAL: Niners are starting to play better under Singletary but this is another game that Dallas can't afford to lose if they want to get to the playoffs. I think it will be tougher than expected though. Dallas by 7. (Dallas won a bit easier than expected, but they have to win games like this. 7 for 9) HOU @ CLE: Houston puzzles me, since they play the Colts like their lives depend on it but suck against most everyone else. When in doubt, take the home team in a game like this. Browns by 8. (Total clunker game, did anyone care at all? 7 for 10) 4:00 OAK @ DEN: Still not remotely buying Denver, and the way things would go now they would get the Colts in another first round beating. That said, it's at Mile High, so they will take care of the Raiders yet again. Broncos by 10. (This was the single most baffling result of the day. Can anyone figure out the Broncos this year? Or the Raiders for that matter? 7 for 11) CAR @ ATL: All right Panthers, the crappy part of the schedule is over. Falcons desperately need a win after letting the Denver game slip away, so I think ATL bears down and somehow escapes with a win. Carolina hasn't proven much on the road thus far anyway. Falcons by 4. (Much easier than expected, Falcons are a really fun team this year. 8 for 12) NYG @ ARI: Cardinals are actually favored to win this game, but has Vegas watched their last 2 games? They barely escaped SF, and almost coughed up a game to Seattle. Even with Bradon Jacobs banged up the Giants should punish Kurt Warner and get the win here. NYG by 9. (Almost got this one exactly right, G-Men won it by 8. 9 for 13) WAS @ SEA: Okay, this is the upset pick of the week. Seattle is still reasonably tough at home and the Redskins are coming back down to earth after a hot start. Seattle by 2. (Ah crap, it was a decent upset pick but just didn't quite happen. 9 for 14) Sunday Night Football IND @ SD: Colts never quite seem to catch the Chargers at the right time, since SD desperately needs to win this game while Indy can lose maybe 2 more and still be in the playoffs. Yet if the Colts can't beat the Chargers now, when will they ever do it? I'm torn. When in doubt, take the more desperate team. SD by 1, though I hope I'm wrong. (The expected nailbiter Colts/Chargers game and the Colts FINALLY beat these guys. Glad to be wrong. 9 for 15) Bleh, not the greatest week of predictions.

It was a mixed bag of a PPV tonight. On one hand most of the survivor matches went by almost too fast and gave the fans little time to invest in any of it, especially in the opener. But the vast majority of the show was essentially filler since it didn't really matter who went over and who jobbed, though personally I am bewildered at how pitiful they booked Batista's team to look. Batista's team in theory was a well oiled machine with a solid leader, yet they get down 4-1 to an Orton led team where the captain hated being there and the other guys hated him? Wouldn't it have made more sense for Orton's team to get down 4-1 and then he either takes out a few guys before losing to Batista or basically takes a walk and lives to fight another day? I'm highly torn on the WWE title match. The HHH/Vlad portion of it was obviously quite horrible, but thinking on it now that might have been the point. As in the crowd was destined to be pissed that Jeff wasn't in it, so just have Kozlov go out and suck and use bearhugs for half of the match. I must admit once Edge got involved it was markout city though. Now there are several interesting things SD has going on: Did Edge orchestrate the attack on Jeff, and if so was anyone else (like Christian) involved? Is HHH going to be ultra pissed at Jeff for basically costing him the title? Is Kozlov pissed at not getting a fair 1 on 1 match? Have Vickie and Edge now patched things up and why? With one really killer angle tonight SD has become easily the more compelling show. Cena winning the belt on the other hand....ugh. I don't get the point of putting it back on Jericho just to immediately job him to Cena. In fact I don't get why Cena even got a title shot in the first place since he had 1. been injured and 2. been jobbing his ass off prior to injury. The way the match was done it almost seemed like it was building to an HBK/Owen finish with Cena passing out from the neck injury. SD is easily the more interesting show after tonight since there are so many ways this can go, but Raw? There's just nothing compelling about Cena with the belt again. I don't care about seeing him vs. Orton again. I might have cared about him vs. Batista had they not blown their load at SummerSlam and done it with zero build. They probably still will do that match at WM, but so what? It will be obvious that Cena will beat Batista this time, so they probably need to add someone to it (I can't believe I'm saying this but....Orton). And what does Jericho do now unless he resumes feuding with Michaels?

Undertaker vs. Big Show (casket match): End this tedious feud, please. It's a casket match, it's Survivor Series, and Big Show is screwed the same way Kamala and Yokozuna were screwed. Just let it be clean, no Umaga, no Edge, just Show jobbing. Jeff Hardy vs. HHH vs. Kozlov, WWE title: The whole Hardy story on WWE.com seems like a work designed to get him out of the match. If that's the case, I'm betting on the return of Edge and he'll find some way to sneak out with the belt tonight. Probably by pinning Kozlov. Raw women vs. SD women: It should come down to both champions, Phoenix and McCool. And since Beth got the win last time, this time Michelle gets the win back. Sole Survivor: Michelle McCool. Team Batista vs. Team Orton: I hope they repeat the 2006 booking here just for my own amusement. Clean sweep for Team Batista, with Orton taking a walk and getting counted out so he won't have to lose clean. Team HBK vs. Team JBL: Given what we saw on Raw it should come down to Michaels vs. Miz and Morrison. This time HBK gets the win and beats both men. Sole Survivor: Shawn Michaels. World title, Chris Jericho vs. John Cena: I know Cena is making his big return here, but there's no way he should beat Jericho with zero build. That said, can they really job Cena clean here either? This looks like a lame DQ.

Jeff Hardy not at all rushed to Emergency Room (WWE.com storyline)
cabbageboy replied to tpww7's topic in The WWE Folder
This whole thing makes zero sense if it's a storyline, which is what it now sounds like. The guy tries like hell to get in a title match on a PPV, then apparently gets trashed the night before and ends up in the hospital? Further, I've never understood the mentality of hyping a PPV around the notion of someone NOT being there for an advertised match. Basically I'm thinking Edge ends up in the title match tonight and pins Koslov for the belt. That's fine with me, fits his douchebag character well to win another title like that. They can then go with HHH vs. Edge at the Rumble, Christian debuts to screw over HHH, and maybe Jeff can win the Rumble and get to Edge. In fact, now that I think about it more we don't even know what is wrong with Jeff or why he needed to go to the hospital. Maybe it will be revealed that Edge attacked him? -
Man, that went really bad for TX Tech tonight...as in 100x worse than anyone could have predicted. I figured OU would win the game but in a wild shootout something like 55-49. The Sooners absolutely should not pass Texas in the rankings but given the score tonight they probably will. If that's the case let's take bets on when and where OU pulls their annual chokejob: at OK State in the reg. season finale, vs. Mizzou in the Big 12 title game, or vs. ________ in the national title game. If Boise wins next week I would very much like to see Utah vs. Boise St. in the Fiesta. But will the BCS let two small conf. teams in?
-
It was hilarious that Indiana Jones made 21 million that weekend and No Holds Barred was #2 with 4.9 million. In reality No Holds Barred isn't notable really. It wasn't the smash hit Vince and Hogan wanted, but it also wasn't the fiasco that revisionist history would have you believe. Just a forgettable B grade programmer with a wrestler.
-
Remember when Holly was getting pushed and he made Show tap out? SD was the usual fare last night. Decent enough wrestling, but when it was over I forgot about it 10 minutes later. Anyone have a notion of what SD might be building to for WM? There isn't that 1 major match, unless they want to do HHH vs. UT again in Houston.
-
Beilein is a really good coach and he'll get Michigan turned around at some point. He worked some minor wonders at WVU. As far as UCLA goes, I have no idea why these guys are #4 other than tradition. They lost a lot off last year's team and at the end of the day that boring Ben Howland style will always keep them from winning a national title. Since I haven't commented much allow me to take a look at the current top 25 and give thoughts on each team: 1. North Carolina. Obviously really, really good. Hanbrough is banged up, but if these guys are healthy they are clearly #1. Will they win the title? I don't know. There's just something about them that I can't pinpoint, like they sometimes don't play to their capability. 2. UConn. Plenty of talent, but I don't think they have any guts. Somehow I don't see a team that lost in the first round to San Diego going to the Final 4. 3. Louisville. I don't know what to think yet from my guys. Terrence Williams has been out so these exhibitions have told me nothing. Samardo Samuels could be a dominant inside force, but I still don't know if U of L has the outside shooting. We'll see. 4. UCLA. Lost Kevin Love and some others off the FF team, can't really score any points consistently. Honestly I can't see the Bruins getting past the Sweet 16. 5. Michigan State. Neitzel is finally gone! Not sure why they are this high, but the Spartans will be a solid enough team. I like Purdue better in the Big 10 though. Sweet 16 team. 6. Pitt. Bleh. Same old Pitt. Same bunch of guys that do what they do. Still can't really shoot the ball consistently. 2nd round and done. 7. Texas. I enjoy watching the Longhorns and they seem to reload and keep going. They could be a solid Elite 8 team again. 8. Notre Dame. Thrilling to watch and Harangody is awesome, but they play absolutely zero defense. If they get matched up with another slow down opponent like Washington St. in the tourney, they'll be gone. 9. Gonzaga. Sweet 16 and that's about it. Gonzaga plays well, they look good, but at the end of the day Mark Few can't really coach for shit in the big games (see Texas Tech 2005, UCLA 2006). 10. Duke. Meh. Duke will win a bunch of games. Duke will be overrated. Duke will get a #2 or 3 seed. Duke will be gone in the 2nd round. 11. Purdue. Robbie Hummel may well develop into a superstar this year. In fact I think the Boilermakers will be the best team in the Big 10. Sweet 16 or Elite 8. 12. Oklahoma. I know they beat Davidson, but Davidson is little more than a 1 man circus sideshow. Not buying OU, sorry. Still can't get that 2nd round assrape from U of L out of my head. 13. Memphis. Lost a lot from last year obviously, but still with that mediocre C-USA schedule they should have no trouble running up a 27-4 type record and getting a 3 seed. Elite 8. 14. Tennessee. Best team in the SEC, which is like being the smartest kid on a short bus. Likely a top 4 seed, but I have no idea how they will replace Lofton. Should be fun to watch at least. 15. Arizona State. Haven't seen a whole lot from them, but there's a power vacuum in the Pac 10 right now and someone has to take advantage. That said, don't these guys just feel like a 4/13 type upset pick? 16. Marquette. Well, Tom Crean is gone so we'll see if they can keep it up in years to come. This might be the last time they make the tourney for a while. 5 seed, 2nd round or Sweet 16 depending on the breaks. 17. Miami. Wow, the ACC must be down if Miami is the #3 team in it. They might pull an upset or two over Duke or even UNC, but at best they'll be a Sweet 16 team that is a tough out for a 1 seed. 18. Florida. Should be back in the tourney at least, and will vye with the Vols for the SEC. Still, if anyone is looking for a 5/12 upset pick come March, Florida could be it. 19. USC. Eh, they just lost to Seton Hall last night so who knows why the Trojans are even ranked, particulary minus OJ Mayo. 20. Wake Forest. Probably a solid pick out of the ACC to get to the tourney, might even be able to spring a 6 over 3 type upset in the 2nd round. 21. Davidson. Sorry, but Curry even needed a bit of help last year to reach the Elite 8 and there's no evidence now that he has any. Probably another 7/10 type seed, but this time won't go past the 2nd round. 22. Georgetown. I dunno, they might end up being a little better than this. John Thompson's Princeton style assures competence but prevents greatness. Solid 4/5 seed. 23. Villanova. This however is just about right for Nova. Might pull an upset or two in the Big East, but a 6 seed is about right. Sweet 16 run last year was mostly just luck rather than them being all that great. 24. Kansas. Basically lost everything off the title team, so if they can even do this well that's saying something. I think they'll take some lumps but end up as a dangerous 8/9 team that is a dangerous 2nd round game for a 1 seed. 25. Wisconsin. Does it matter if they lost anybody really? Bo Ryan will have them back in the Big 10 hunt, dominant home court advantage as well. Won't do anything in March though.
-
I wonder if Curry Man will be fired and then Daniels will sign a new deal and replace him next year. That would be amusing. Tonight illustrated a problem TNA currently has: There are far too many authority figures running around on this show. We have Jarrett and Foley as part of the main angles, but Cornette is still around for the lower level decisions, and of course Ms. Brooks is there for the women. This is all overkill.

WWF Survivor Series 1991 & This Tuesday In Texas
cabbageboy replied to KingPK's topic in WWE Multimedia
It wasn't totally explained but putting it together sums up like this: UT formed an alliance with Jake for the Warrior feud, but was never especially down with some of Jake's more deranged antics. Taker half ass got involved with the SS wedding angle with the snake, but once Roberts flat out tried to attack Macho and Liz with a chair UT had enough and stopped it. -
I'm fairly sure Tiny Lister was in movies before No Holds Barred. The John Candy movie Armed and Dangerous was before NHB, Zeus had a memorable little bit in it. Even as a kid I didn't care much about NHB though. Maybe on some level seeing this thing is what made me stop watching wrestling by Jan. 1990. There's no clear answer though.

WWF Survivor Series 1991 & This Tuesday In Texas
cabbageboy replied to KingPK's topic in WWE Multimedia
Thanks for clearing all that up. I am hazy on that 1991 period since I didn't watch wrestling in 1990 and 91, but started again for that Feb. 1992 SNME where Sid turned on Hogan and UT turned on Jake. That was a great show to get back into wrestling. That said, all of the booking on TV leading to Survivor Series sounds like it rocked incredibly hard. I certainly knew of the snake angle, which is incredible stuff even now. The UT/Hogan/Flair angle they showed on the PPV was also terrific stuff. But these angles put tremendous heat on all the heels, with UT looking like a zombie psycho that can't be destroyed, Jake an evil maniac doing dastardly acts, Flair screwing Hogan en route to the title, etc. The key is that the heels eventually got their asses kicked properly. -
In theory it's possible for FSU to win that game, but the key difference now is that Florida won't be overlooking anyone. They likely took Ole Miss for granted as an easy win. That said, if we're looking at 1 loss teams in terms of results I'm not sure how Florida would get in over any of the 3 Big 12 south teams. Texas would have a loss to TX Tech, OU a loss to Texas, and (in theory) Tech's 1 loss to OU. You know at the end of the day what frustrates me the most about the BCS? With all the screwy crap they do, the politics of letting certain teams in and ripping off others, at the end of the day virtually everyone they have pronounced champion has been the best team. The 1 year where I had some real doubt about it was maybe 2003, since LSU may not have been able to beat USC but we'll never know.

You know, I don't think the group was ever called Quantum all that much in the movie. It was more just something everyone sorta knew going in. Thoughts on the next movie: --Hopefully they bring back Q and Moneypenny, since the series just isn't the same without them. Anyone can be Moneypenny that is half decent, but Q is more of a problem since Desmond Llewelyn IS Q to most people. --What is up with Barbara Broccoli constantly wanting to bring back the female characters? First it was the hideous notion of a Jinx movie with Halle Berry, then a faint rumor of Eva Green doing a flashback type cameo in this new flick, and now for whatever reason there's a rumor that they want to bring back the Bolivian chick for the next movie? For what possible reason? I can maybe see a brief cameo , but where else would she fit in? --Advice for Daniel Craig: Dude, lighten up. It's a Bond movie, not Dostoievsky. No more mentions of Vesper Lynd in the next movie, no more brooding bullshit, let's just see the devil may care agent we know and love. It worked well in the origin tale Casino Royale, it was tolerable in Quantum, but it will be tedious going forward. --In the next movie can we please have the spotlight and gun barrel back at the beginning where it belongs? --Lastly, I nominate "Risico" as the title of the next movie. It's the last Fleming story title that sounds decent, since The Hildebrand Rarity is too dull and The Property of a Lady sounds like a Merchant/Ivory production starring Emma Thompson.
-
Oh of course it could have been a better match, but do we want that or do we want Edge, Orton, and Co. to just get the crap beat out of them? Survivor Series 2006 also had a reasonably fun match with Cena/Lashley/RVD/Sabu vs. Big Show and a bunch of guys.

WWF Survivor Series 1991 & This Tuesday In Texas
cabbageboy replied to KingPK's topic in WWE Multimedia
Yeah I remember Tues. in Texas having some decent stuff on it. Jake/Macho with the incredible post match angle and interview, UT/Hogan rematch is at least historically relevant, and Bret/Skinner is okay. Bulldog/Warlord is better than the WM match. Anyway, this Survivor Series show is pretty dreary. As noted the entire show is a hype job for the Texas PPV, which is absurd given this is supposed to be a major show and the Tues. PPV is a proto IYH deal. The first match was going well until the boneheaded booking to have everyone DQed and leave Flair standing. The WWF just wouldn't put Flair over anyone, would they? And why was Bulldog the one man eliminated from his team when friggin VIRGIL was in the match? I don't get why Flair would help UT win, aside from it being a heel helping a heel situation. I fail to see what Flair gains by it, since UT would be perhaps even more daunting to face down the line (if he had kept the belt). I'm a big fan of Gorilla normally but he was off his game on this PPV. During the Rockers match he pondered why Shawn was walking to the back in disgust, apparently missing his elimination entirely. Of course he would go to the back....he got pinned. Just wondering but were Jake and Macho advertised for this PPV? Cause if they were hyped as team captains in the main event people had every right to be pissed. It's not like Savage was in a hospital room with a bandage on his arm from the snake....he was there in the building and cut a goofy interview with Gene, seeming just fine. Ditto Roberts. It's insulting to not have those guys at least in the Survivor match with them simply brawling to the back for a DQ if nothing else. The rest of the booking could stay the same in the match. Oh, and why didn't IRS take the Doomsday Device? -
WWF Survivor Series 1991 & This Tuesday In Texas

Ah it will be nice to see that Tues. in Texas show again. Haven't seen that one in years. -
Survivor Series 2006 was at least amusing for the DX/Hardys/Punk side absolutely squashing the Rated RKO side. Hilarious.
