Michigan St. hasn't really been amazing this year, hasn't been bad....they're just there. Truthfully I also think it's because people are also a little tired of MSU.

Considering Edge just got a win over Jericho on Raw I can't see him getting punished too much over this. This is a very private sort of deal, not like just being an ass backstage or whatever.

Dama, as I said earlier I think the Big 12 very well could be the best conf. Thing is it is so tough that even the top tier teams go on losing streaks. Let's face it, even in the ACC there's a Clemson or Virginia to get well against (unless you're Maryland heh). By the way this TCU/Marquette game on right now is just a hideous brawlfest. I bet TCU is shooting about 10% in the 2nd half.

It's not like anyone cares about Luther and Jindrak anyway, so it's likely Angle just saw them having a falling out and got wrapped up in this Michaels thing and basically said fuck it.

It depends I think. In regards to the top 25 teams you can take a look at who is ranked what and usually the seed is similar. Most everyone in the top 10 will get a 1-3 type seed. Top 20 would be in the top 5 seed range. The RPI is mainly used I think to figure out what bubble team should be in. Nevermind NC St., they lost some really embarrassing games to St. John's and West Virginia (that one at home). Not that losing to WVU is THAT bad but not at home by 19. An intriguing team is Va Tech...what do you do with this team? RPI is hideous at about 120, but they also finished 8-8 in the ACC (4th place!) and have wins over Duke, Maryland, and Ga Tech. To be honest aside from the top 3 main teams the ACC is water. Add maybe Ga Tech to the tourney since they finished 8-8 as well (and unlike Va Tech actually seem credible) but after that there really isn't anyone you can say "This team definitely should be in." If you finish below .500 in conf. you do NOT belong in the tourney.

Iggy, you talk like it's some sort of outrage that U of L is ranked ahead of BC. I mean BC is in the midst of tanking, we outta be ranked ahead of them. In terms of the BE conf. I know they are the 1 seed but I'd take UConn, Pitt, and even Syracuse to win it over them. Hell add Nova to the list as well. BC is simply a team that had a favorable schedule and some luck (only having UConn and Pitt once for example). If they had Cuse's schedule they'd be about where Cuse is now: looking at a 4/5 type seed. As far as Zona being ahead of Kansas, why not? They won the Pac 10 outright and Kansas is quickly falling apart having lost 4 of 5. Anyway what kind of seed you guys think Zaga will get now? I'm thinking a 3 or so since they are ranked 11 or 12 and I believe they're about the same on www.collegerpi.com.

Obviously there's Benoit/Sullivan but there is also the old Austin/Chris Adams feud from back in the old USWA.

It wasn't so much Taker's fault though. He just literally did Dirty Harry with no spin on it to conform to WWE storylines. Cena/JBL at least did a storyline spin on Few Good Men and it was fun. With UT they just had him do the exact scene from Dirty Harry, I'm not sure what they were going for.

When someone first mentioned Road House I thought of that line immediately. But why has no one mentioned the OTHER Swayze masterpiece of 1989......NEXT OF KIN?? I can see Duke staying at 6 since everyone lost this week, but you can't move em up. U of L didn't quite pass them in the rankings....just the man trying to keep us down. Isn't it curious that no one has mentioned U of L as a possible 1 seed while Kansas and Zona are getting hyped for it (hell even UCONN with 6 losses) despite being ranked lower? Fine by me though, I wanna slip in under the radar.

Duke choked big time yesterday, no other way to put it. And to be honest why exactly should Illinois drop down at all...they have lost ONE GAME all year! Heh, not like UNC had some rousing ass beating of Duke that would justify it...fuck, Duke just gave it to them. That said I was laughing my ass off at it.

Yeah Paul took a groin shot at Julius Hodge, heard mention of a possible suspension. It's kinda funny but U of L is really the only top 10 team this week that didn't have a near death experience, heh. I guess the DePaul game was kinda close but we were up 7 late in that one. Despite being 26-4 and 14-2 in Conf. play we're still getting little respect. UK meanwhile has to be the weakest 23-4 team I have ever seen...they simply struggle too much on offense. Some days they can get 80+ points but then you saw yesterday.

Yeah the stuff about Mr. Lovejoy, the various Martin Weir as shylock flicks, the Touch of Evil stuff....you have to see Get Shorty to understand a lot of little details in the film. Here's one thing I wondered about though: Did Vince Vaughn die in the film? I know he got set on fire during the video shoot but nothing was really mentioned about him living or dying. I tend to think he must have lived or else they wouldn't have kept that in the finished video for MTV, haha.

That was the most insane shit I've ever heard. Ga Tech is going NOWHERE dude, get that through your head. They won't do shit in the ACC tourney. They won't do shit in the NCAA tourney. They most certainly won't win the ACC tourney over UNC, Wake, or Duke. The only non big 3 team there who could put it together is Maryland, they have the chops at their best to bust it out. Also the SEC isn't overrated at all...nobody thinks it is worth a shit. Heh. I have no idea if Illinois and Pitt would play but it wouldn't be a FF game, maybe Sweet 16 in a 1/4 or 5 matchup. I do know Illinois will NOT win by 30 against them. Look, the Illini have kinda struggled against IU and Michigan who have slowed them down and grinded it. Bear in mind those teams both suck dick. Pitt is the ne plus ultra of grinding, physical half court play...they would give Illinois a fit. Illinois might win but it'd be by less than 10. Anyway if that FF actually takes place it'd go up there with 2000 as one of the shittiest of all time. Nobody wants to see Ga Tech back in the FF again, nobody but you cares about them. Pitt is kind of a guilty pleasure with me but I can't say I wanna see them THAT far. The past two games U of L has proven we can beat people in an ultra hideous half court grinder (53-44 over Memphis) and also in a really furious shoot out against Charlotte last night. If U of L got BC in the tourney we would take them out. I don't care about BC though...I want UK in a rematch.

I just saw the movie today and don't believe this crap. Be Cool was a lot of fun, hell it's worth going to see just for Vince Vaughn and The Rock. They were funny as all shit in this. I think they defocused Christina Milian because it's always hard to do movies with "Agent/producer finds mega talent" storylines. I mean it takes a really amazing talent to have that be the main focus and Milian really isn't it. Travolta and Uma are for the most part on auto here but Vaughn and Rocky are GOLD as well as Cedric and Andre from Outkast. Maybe not quite as good as Get Shorty but it's fairly close.

It was sorta watchable but hardly main event level wrestling. Incidentally what is with all this JBL support? The guy has single handedly killed whatever interest most people have in SMDN with his never ending reign....they absolutely MUST job his ass out to someone, anyone at WM. Cena is fine with me. The problem is that JBL has wrecked the heat of the whole lockerroom so that no one is really in contention.

Would this be some kind of Replacements feud for Favreau and Jones? As in "Keanu liked me better than you!" Look did you EXPECT Cena/Orlando to be worth a shit? Yeah boy, U of L took out Charlotte tonight 94-82. Larry O'Bannon went out in style with 33 fo us tonight and Dean had 27 as well. Man I will say that Plavich dude for Charlotte is just a madman...not since the days of Al Dillard at Arkansas has anyone shot from 40 ft. seemingly on a regular basis. Heh. Charlotte is a good team, they brought it tonight but we were on fire.

Tonight's biggie here is U of L vs. Charlotte. This is an absolute, 100% MUST WIN for U of L. Do you realize we've never won CUSA in the reg. season EVER? It is also senior night so we cannot lose this game, it would just be so horrible if we lost. Plane crashing into the mountain level bad. I semi agree with Iggy on Wake. Wake simply does not play defense, I mean hell last night they gave up 91 to Ga Tech. When I watch them it's like watching the friggin Pac 10 or something. I'm not saying they have to start hacking and gooning, but guys, a little physicality would be nice.
