Disagreed, although my particular Domino's was in a midsize suburb of L.A. My store was run pretty efficiently though, and it was one of the better places I've ever worked in terms of morale and people getting along all the time. So there were no complaints about dishwashing (and all the times the drivers and store managers would grab the dishwashing spray and start spraying people randomly.. fun times) Strongly agreed, and even stronger for the second one as it applies to gee, almost every restaurant or retail place there is. Don't people realize that customer complaints rarely get the guy in serious trouble (unless he's had a history of being a shitty worker, gives them more reason to fire you, but otherwise it doesn't mean a thing. Just because YOU think the guy's an asshole/girl was a bitch, doesn't mean everyone else does and as long as they do their job well. I have quite an impressive way of getting hired for jobs. Just incredible luck that I've abused by getting bored with particular jobs quickly and quitting within a week or so. I'm sure maybe someone around here can try and top this list (from me being 16 to currently 21): American Red Cross, El Pollo Loco, Wendy's, S&J Repackaging (small business warehouse type thing), Del Taco, Ben & Jerry's, OfficeMax, Gap, Domino's, Blockbuster Video, Chili's, Hollywood Video, Carl's Jr, Wells Fargo, Summerfield Suites, BellSouth, Starbucks. Ask me anything about `em. I worked at El Pollo Loco in college. Excellent food. As for Domino's, if I were a manager I'd use a customer complaint to fire someone if I didn't want them around...

I said "also." It seemed that in EVERY class, the professors felt the need to put forth some kind of liberal drivel. In Criminal Justice, we had a "special guest" come in to tell us how prisoners were being treated badly by guards. The examples he put forth could only be equated to mistreatment by someone grasping for straws. And I think that liberalism isn't just an exercise in misinformation, it's a knowing exercise in misinformation. Mainstream liberal leaders have a goal and they know what the end to that goal is...people like myself don't like it. As I stated in my last post in this thread.

Liberals ARE far out there. Mainstream Democrats are not. Most "liberals" probably listen along while old school Democrats find it to be kookery.

In your opinion. Humble, I'm sure.

Question about black people...
LessonInMachismo replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in No Holds Barred
"In heterozygotes, the disadvantages of the abnormal haemoglobin are apparently outweighed by increased resistance to Plasmodium falciparum malaria, probably because parasitised cells tend to sickle and are then removed from circulation." http://cancerweb.ncl.ac.uk/cgi-bin/omd?sickle+cell+anaemia -
Question about black people...
LessonInMachismo replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in No Holds Barred
I thought they legitimately were more likely to get it. Not confined, no. Is that not true? Oh, us whiteys get it, too. But I have heard people swear up and down that only the black man gets it. Maybe it's like the old adage that "only homos get AIDS?" -
I want a ring, too. I have a half-acre backyard and a deck (for the audience). I could cover it in the Spring and Summer and take it down in the Winter.

Roger Ebert Supports Terrorism
LessonInMachismo replied to edotherocket's topic in Television & Film
<<The fact that Ebert believes the man is innocent also negates the implication that the reporter thinks he's giving a "thumbs up" to terrorism.>> How? -
It's true, it's true. Also, we spent an average of twenty minutes a week in Astronomy 1 listening to how Rush Limbaugh was a "short-sighted ignoramus" among other things. And I wasn't insulting you in particular. I'm sure, given your views as expressed here in these forums, that you are fully capable of teaching from an objective point of view...

Question about black people...
LessonInMachismo replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in No Holds Barred
Why is it a common misconception that sickle-cell anemia is confined to black people? -
From Shannon Moore's WWE.com profile: "And if the success of Matt Hardy, Hurricane and Lita are any indication of things to come, it is a matter of “when” and not “if” for Moore to become a top cruiserweight in WWE."

I guess implication is in the eye of the beholder. -
My college didn't have security guards...we had campus police complete with sidearms... One time in African-American History, a big fat black girl told the professor that she didn't think he should be teaching the class because he was white. He then replied by saying that being born a certain color doesn't give one genetic coding to specific knowledge. She then ignored that and said that he didn't teach them about the triangle, which is an African symbol. He said that this was African-American History, not African. Then it went like this: Another Black Girl: I think he's doing a good job, and the triangle? The triangle's the symbol of the queers, too! Fat Black Girl: I didn't ask for comments from a smart ass. Another Black Girl: See, I ain't gonna bring myself down to your level. Fat: Because you're a little bitch. Another: I AM gonna bring myself down to your level! Wussup, bitch?! ::People start clearing desks:: Black Guy With a Pony Tail: I'll handle this! I'm a security guard! Professor: ::phone:: Get the police up here now! ::Everyone goes outside. Campus police show up instantly somehow. Both girls are handcuffed:: Cool story. I have a million stories involving my experience as a guard in a wild mall. But those stories are for another time...another place.

Why Do Men Have To Take Massive Shits In Public?
LessonInMachismo replied to a topic in General Chat
I generally hate using public shitters (I mean restrooms, not people who shit) so I hold it as long as I can. But as Vyce pointed out, sometimes you just have to do it. I remember years and years ago when I did mall security in college, me and a few of the others guys and the captain would take a dump and then get on the radio afterwards and say, "Twenty (thirty, forty-five)-minute rule applies." No one else on the channel was privy to our secret code, but it basically meant "Don't go in there for at least (applicable) minutes!" A Christian mechanic at work left a Bible in the shop restroom and another guy said he read the whole Bible over the course of a year while making use of the restroom. But the worst thing is when two guys enter, man different stalls and talk while they shit. One time two businessmen were babbling on about something while grunting and plopping their way to stinking the place up. -

Oh shit! You're right. Owen's dying thoughts as he was being blasted by sandtroopers: "Ya know...that golden protocol droid reminds me of that one from years ago..." -
That new Burger King chicken sandwich thing is big...but their classic is unbeatable in taste.

Similar to the disgruntled fazzle's secret... Great Value (Wal-Mart) chicken filets, nuggets and other such products are from the same recipe and assembly line as Tyson products. And at almost half the price!

What about in the 90's when I was in high school and people were crying about national debt? Oh yeah...we paid it down when Clinton cut defense and intelligence (?) spending. The deficit *not debt* went down significantly because of the economy's growth, not Clinton's cuts. The debt, well, really didn't change that much. They taught us differently in college. That was before the mainstream advent of the internet. Makes perfect sense. When did I ever mention the internet? I'm looking and I don't see it! Whoever taught you about the 1990s did a piss-poor job. The economy's growth rate was larger than the government's growth rate, that's why we got a surplus of sorts. I swear, what's with putting words in my mouth. Then again, depending on what kind of classes in economics you took, you may have gotten the simplified versions. Nothing's simple when you're getting a doctorate. Sorry, I wasn't being facetious. They essentially lied to us in school because we had no way of proving them wrong. With the internet, we can look anything up and see for ourselves how something really happened. I think that's why the conservative movement is on the upswing...now we can challenge liberal professors' and schoolteachers' biased lessons...

I believe 3PO lived with the Lars for as long as Shmi was married to Cliegg, which is about 3-5 years... And has anyone seen a pic of Owen and Beru from ROTS? Beru looks to have aged ten years...no more cuteness. -
