I work with illegals every single day. I don't think there are many positions at the plant that "Americans won't do." Not only do illegals save as much money as they can (some wear the same clothes three times a week) but they send it back to their families in their native lands via Western Union. If you live in an illegal-concentrated area, you will see a lot of little stores that can wire money south of the border. Also, illegal immigrants tend to be poor workers, because they know they will be out of there in a few months or a year, so they don't put too much effort into their work. Also, you can't punish companies for hiring illegals because they have legitimate papers. It's called identity theft. It can take up to a year to find out someone is illegal. On minimum wage...it will always be minimum wage.

I also heard a good point made last year on RIGHT-WING RADIO about how people risk death in other countries to vote, yet wimps here whine about standing in the sun/rain or simply waiting.

REVENGE OF THE SITH COMIC/NOVELIZATION Discussion

R2 could have been ordered/programmed to not mention it to him. Plus, R2 is a little asshole. He probably liked being on the up and up and listening to 3PO sound so lost all the time. -
Me and my mom were watching the TBN telethon tonight when I went to pick up my son from her house. We always get a kick out of the preachers doing their thing. What I found awesome was a t-shirt design that some people in the crowd were wearing. The shirts read "Born2razeHell." WWE wishes they could come up with something that cool. That's a slogan that HBK could use on one of his pseudo-religious shirts.

President Bush seeks advice from Clinton, Father

Nader? I wouldn't have voted for him. My next choice was Badnarik. -
I played it several times at Christian summer camp. It was really cool because the camp was in the forest and the goals were like on trees, on the sides of boulders, etc.

That is the result of the studio stepping in. To be honest, we are lucky to be getting a movie. The proposed Babylon 5 movie was canceled after the studio wanted the actors from the show to be replaced with "name" actors. JMS told them to fuck off. Good for him. But yeah, I can't wait for Serenity. Does anyone know where I can buy/download the theme?
-
My friend in Cali is borrowing my Firefly set. Everyone I show that show to asks the same question... "Why was this canceled?" Just a few more months until Serenity!

I almost had some of that tonight. The restaurant I was at tonight offered it as an appetizer. I instead opted for clam chowder as a prelude to my 2.6lbs Maine lobster. The fried oysters were great. Not that the lobster wasn't great. The lobster being great should go without saying.

<<and Nash wasn't ready to wrestle>> Ha! That almost reminds me of those interviews from the 80's, where Honky Tonk Man or The Genius or somebody like that would cut a promo on a face and then the face would come out and go, "Let's go right now!" and the heel would say something like, "What? Not now! I'm not dressed for it! I'm not ready!"

<<And the reason AG was such a scandal was because liberals are clueless when it comes to who is actually covered by the Geneva Conventions.>> Hell, they probably DO know, but were hungry for something to report that was negative about the war, aside from insurgent attacks. In the end, though, is putting bad guys on leashes and making them undress as bad as torturing American heroes?

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

The first time I saw Abby was in '87 on one of the millions of wrestling shows that were on TV. In this one, they came to the ring through a door...a normal door with a doorknob. I remember when he stood on his opponent, the commentators made it out like the man could be dead. -
I like the Sin City song, too... "Cells" by The Servant.

I never heard that, what's the story there? Shawn was trying to back out of doing the job to Austin at XIV, going so far that he said he was going to turn the main event into a shoot. The story goes that Taker told him that if he wasn't going to be jobbing out in the ring, he would be jobbing out in the parking lot when he got back. This incident has been confirmed by numerous sources, including I believe, Taker himself. Hunter's Torn Quad knows more about it than I do. I'm sure he could describe it in more detail. In the run up to WM XIV, Shawn started making noise about not dropping the WWF Title to Austin. This continued up until the event itself. Before the match, Undertaker went to the gorilla position, where the wrestlers are right before they enter the areana, and began taping his fists up. He told Shawn point blank that if he didn't do the job in the ring, he'd be doing the job the moment he stepped back through the curtains. Why is everyone afraid of Mean Ole Mark? Is he legit tough, or just big and scary? -
The problem is that there is no regulation or standard as to how these people should handle the folks that they encounter. Police men, border patrol agents, they do. The last thing I want to see is some picture with shades of the Iraqi prison scandal, perhaps someone stripped of their clothes with a dog threatening them. I'm sure not everyone is like this, but you and I both know that rotten apples will spoil the barrel for everybody. It's not like all of these outlaw sherrifs are turning in their finds to the proper authorities to have them dealt with by the book. I still don't get the whole AG "scandal." I didn't hear anything NEAR the noise level when US troops were abused. And worse things happen in US prisons and jails. Source: Some guy named Nailz...

President Bush seeks advice from Clinton, Father

"Clinton said it" doesn't make it any more false. I don't know what to make of the Bill & George stuff, except Clinton is somewhat of a media whore and Bush may be seeking ways to connect with moderate Democrats without looking weak or compromised. Even though I don't like the guy, it's kind of unfortunate for him that he landed in the middle of a firestorm of the GOP's "Us VS Them, fight like it's life or death" brand of politics. Yeah, what about Howard Dean's "Republicans are demons incarnated and I hate them and they need to be deposed and then we're going to Washington, YAAAAH!" brand of politics? It's awesome. It's also the source of the polarization, not anything the GOP instigated. The liberals controlled everything for decades. If they didn't have the executive branch, then they had the ledge and the courts...and the media. Once the GOP gets something of a foothold, then Moore and Dean and others come out of the woodwork and force the GOP to act. And the scream was cool. It was what they needed, but they do not need someone saying that the opposition is evil and that he hates them. -
Is it like an old 60's song?

lol -- It'd give those American gladiators some work... It could be an amalgam of American Gladiators and MXC. Vic: Here's Felipe Jimenez. He's a corn husker who wants to move into the lucrative field of dishwashing. Kenny: I hope he knows how to get rid of streaks...I had to learn that one the hard way!

A woman -- much less one who shows her face -- should not be allowed to sit on the throne as the sovereign ruler of a nation! Women should know their place! This is the corruption that America brings forth in their video games! That is why I support Hilary Clinton for president, who is against these terrible games!
