Perhaps this is why he was chosen to play Doink in his WM debut at X7.

How many of those segments did Cornette do on WWF television where he would speak quickly and shoot on various topics? And where can I get them, aside from the one included on the MNW DVD?
-
Isn't Hogan from Florida? I think he is from Georgia originally.
-
That one is my favorite. Sorry I edited it a bit, Machismo. You missed: Holy Mackarel! Another one of my favorites. Heck, they're all good. I added the ones I missed.

I live in what was once a hotbed of wrestling. Flair has shown up at Wal-Marts here to sign autographs. On my desktop, I have a shortcut to a MP3 of Flair doing the "Like it or not!" line. I use it when my people start bitching. Anyways, no one knew who the speaker was. I told them. They still didn't know. I then showed them a pic on the net of Flair. They recognized him. Now, there are certain areas where Flair will be known, but even there, non-fans will not know who he is. With Hogan, everyone knows who he is. Don't get me wrong...I love Flair. I dislike Hogan. But Hogan is a true household name. Flair might be in the southeast, but not nationally. Too bad Bush wouldn't use the line: "The Democrats don't like my plan for Social Security, well...like it or not, learn to love it, because it's the best thing goin' today."

Huh? Jeanie took the kids back home and Austin was complacent with it for whatever reason. He has the right to make her live within reasonable distance. Well, he did. After all the wife beatin', there isn't any telling. Personally, I couldn't live without my son. -

Sometimes I watch old Manias and the like just to listen to Gorilla. I can't wait for 24/7 and PrimeTime. What about this? Gorilla: A shot to the external occiperal protuberance! Jesse: The what? Gorilla: The back of his head.

I enjoyed Mean Gene's comment on the Monday Night War DVD about the Scheme Gene character in the Billionaire Ted skits and how his hotline was probably too much for them. Self-deprecation is funny. Also funny, also involving Gene, and also involving the hotline, is the story in the Death of WCW book about Gene's hotline message about Brady Boone dying and how no one would know who he was.

Can they rape children and murder people, as long as they do their jobs when the cameras are on them? excellent point... reminds me on all those ausin apologists back when the alligations on his smacking Debra around, the attitude of some seem like... "well as long as he makes it to Raw and Entertain me like the good dancing bear he is, then he can get drunk off his ass and whip anyone he likes at home." I don't have a lot of respect for Austin. His kids live across the pond and he lets it happen. He could have made Jeanie stay here, so he could, you know, see his kids? But no, he drinks his beer and shacks up with random (and not-so-random) blonde sluts. And then cries when his kids have English accents. -

Come on, now... This + "The Plane Ride from Hell" > almost every single angle in WWE in the past 4 years. Where can I read the details of this online for free? -

But they didn't even mention it. There are alot of Hardy/Lita marks that would know about this. The marks tried, but failed. And WWE can't mention it right now, anyway. Hardy isn't officially back on TV. And they need something to do after Wrestlemania, not a month before when the card's set. This is it. And they were in North Carolina. I wonder if the crowd would've been as vocal if they were in, say, Tacoma, WA. -
"You can't say that on Television!"

He also called Dibiase an SOB at WMIV. "I'm laying out a challenge to either Bret, or that Jap, brother!" - Hogan at WM9 "That was THREE, you asshole!" - Heenan, to Marella, at WM3 after Andre fell on Hogan right at the beginning of the match Heh, every time Marella was reffing a match at Mania, Jesse would call him an idiot and say stuff like "Who IS this guy?!" -

Weren't there more nWo Japan members? Also, I think we should add LWo members. They weren't a splinter group, but Eddie took the idea from the nWo and did the same tactics with the other luchadores. Eddie Rey Juvi El Dandy Damian Anyone remember the rest? -

A shining example: The Boeing CEO was removed for an affair with an underling. He was married. The grounds for dismissal were not the affair directly, so they say, but the fact that it embarassed the company. -
Gorilla is my personal favorite play-by-play man.

I remember when JJ said "This time, there ain't gonna be any ham'n'eggers!" when nWo 2000 was formed. Within a month, the Harris Boys were let in. -
Hey...that's really good.

You mean...this ass?

I have a tape of the incident in question. It's absolutely hilarious watching Cornette storm out of the van, charge around to the window, yank it open, and stick is head in before cussing like crazy at the staff. The Saito-Patera story: It was really late, like 2am, and they wanted something to eat. They went to the McDonalds and, because they saw staff in there clearing up, wanted to be served. The staff refused, becasue they were closed. Patera wound up hurling a boulder through a window of the restaurant, causing the staff to call the cops. Patera and Saito fled the scene and went back to their hotel. The cops caught up with them, and in the ensuing struggle to arrest them, a dozen or so cops got involved, and Patera broke the leg of a female officer. Uh...yeah, that'll get you hard time. Now that you mention it, I do remember the assault on officers charge now.

I dislike Steph's bangs. Bangs meaning forehead hair, guys.
-
I say Regal as Austin Powers in the opening scene of AP1, and have all the Divas chasing him. It could be revealed at the end that the real reason they were chasing him is because he has WM tickets.
-
Throws a wrench in the whole "95% of fans don't read the net theory," doesn't it? Too bad JR didn't try to cover. JR: They're referring to Matt Erichsen, a football star from the area, folks.
-
The McDonald's incident was Patera. Something like after a show, he and Mr. Saito went to Mickey D's, they were closed, Patera got pissed and yelled "I'm hungry, you fuckers, open up!" He then proceeded to throw a cinder block at the window, breaking it. Was that really why he got locked up, or were there other more serious charges, like they found dope on him or something?
