X3 could be in huge trouble

Check the link and read the script. Angel is a huge part of X3.

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

From pwinsider.com "If you suspected by Eddie Guerrero's demeanor that he did not want to be at the show and phoned in his performance, you'd be exactly right. When Guerrero saw the setlist backstage, he was not happy to find out he was tapping out clean. He had an attitude about himself the whole night so it looks as if he intentionally sandbagged the match on purpose, making Chris Benoit very frustrated, who really wanted to put on a memorable match for the ECW crowd. Benoit and Guerrero traded words with each other after the match, as Guerrero was also very upset at the injury to his face he suffered. He also immediately left the show after his match was over, which is why he was absent at the closing WWE vs. ECW battle. -- Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon were both backstage at the PPV, although they didn't play any part in the booking of the actual show. They were merely just backstage spectators and making sure everything was going smooth for Paul Heyman & Tommy Dreamer, who were running the show. Stephanie McMahon nor Triple H were at the show. -- The only person that RVD's interview had to be cleared with was Paul Heyman, Vince had nothing to do or nothing to say about RVD's promo. -- Paul Heyman's "shoot" was different. His shoot on Edge was planned. Edge was told about it earlier in the day and was said to be completely fine with it. With Heyman's shoot on JBL, it was not planned and Vince was watching it on a monitor backstage. Vince was initially surprised about what Heyman said, but eventually laughed about it, saying, "I don't care, he put Triple H over." -- After their match, both Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Psicosis were visibly upset that their match was a disappointment (both men immediately knew it), however Rey was working on a legit injured ankle, so credit must be given where credit is due for Rey even working. -- Stone Cold Steve Austin was very, very impressed with One Night Stand and was incredibly enthusiastic to be a part of it. -- Joey Styles has signed a contract with WWE that allows WWE to use legally use his voice in voice-over work and could possibly utilize him in the ECW part of WWE 24/7. " What a pro, that Eddie Guerrero.

I never had an issue with the casting of Famke as Jean but they'd better have gone to Angela Basset and she turned down the role of Storm before going to Halle.

    Early Smackdown Taping (*Spoilers*)

Awesome use of Benoit here. I'm already glad he's away from Benjamin, Jericho, Edge and Christian. Who needs them when you can work handicap matches against the fuckin Bashams?

I'm not disillusioning myself here, I will go see this in theatres, probably the Friday it opens. I have a thing about completing trilogies regardless of the outcome.

    Early Smackdown Taping (*Spoilers*)

It'll be like Cena's feud with Taker. Taker puts Orton over via interference of some kind in the end and people act like it means shit.

I'm kinda picky with my seafood but I've tried marlin before and didn't mind it. Grilled shark steaks are delicious.

Thanks for that. A winner is you.

I hated Singer for leaving but now I can't say I blame him. A really bad X3 and Superman movie could signal the downfall of the current trend of comic book/hero flicks.

Bitch please. You don't even want to know the type of shit Rudo would do if he was given the book. I've seen the madness firsthand. I like how the WWE has all-but-forgotten the fact that Hassan is an Arab-AMERICAN.

I'm sorry, but this warrants some discussion

I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this. There is something a tad bit disturbing about a 12 year old boy being influenced to the point where he brings race-baiting signs to live events and yells racial slurs at somebody he doesn't even know. Funny, the way I can see this ending is a Billy and Chuck scenario, with Hassan eventually breaking character and saying that it was Davari who set him up like an Arab and told him to act like one when he's really just an Italian-American guy named Mark Magnus.

Uh.......ok. Sometimes I think that SJ is really JJ Abrams and is just fucking with us all. I'm not talking about any re-infection. I'm talking about The Island punishing Locke. But, knowing you, I'm sure the two are related in some way.

I laughed, not so much at the comment but at the fact that Austin actually got away with saying it. The WWE is slowly converting their fans into racists due to this whole Hassan angle and I'm not really enjoying it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would say Vince is acknowledging that a decent portion of his fans already are/were racists. The JBL character basically acted like anyone of color could only be seen as a servant of his, and you could even go back as far as the DiBiase/Virgil pairing with the black man serving as a rich white man's butler. The fact is that I'm sure a good portion of the crowd last night wasn't the least bit offended by what Austin said. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's only going to be a matter of time before this angle and gimmick warrant some seriously bad press for WWE. What if an Arab-American was attending a RAW show and saw somebody with a sign that said "Davari loves NY" or "Muhammed parked my camel" or something like that? More to the point, if they complained would the WWE take the sign away from the fan? This entire storyline has built up to the point that fans are EXPECTED to showcase racist tendancies towards Hassan and Davari. Vince and Co. enjoy priding themself on their whole "The fans make the decisons for us" mentality. I'm not seeing it here. If somebody brought an "OJ loves fried chicken and watermelon" sign to Smackdown they'd at least have it get taken away, maybe get their asses kicked by others fans or security.

Tried it before, very good stuff. We've actually got a KC's Bar and Grill around here that serves alligator poppers, similar to the popcorn chicken things they've got at KFC.

So, will The Island be bitter at Locke for blowing up the hatch and not nescessarily "earning" his way into it? I'd love it if next season started off with Hurley, Locke, Jack and Kate standing at the hatch, ready to descend and *snap*- Locke's legs go out and he can't climb down. Jack being the one to find out what was inside it the whole time would drive JL up the fuckin wall.

I didn't like that ending. Benjamin's slingshot-backflip reversal was by far the hawtest thing all night.

True say. I totally forgot about that match, funny because I loved it more then anything on the card when I first saw it. Tajiri wasting Corino with a head kick and blood spattering on the camera lens is still a great visual to this day. By no means, however, does it equal Jerry Lynn writing "D-I-E" on Steve's chest with his own blood. If anybody gets signed after tonight it'll be Awesome or Tanaka.

Hardcore Heaven 2000. Definetly worth getting a tape of, as it's got a good RVD/Lynn bout, a fun tag match w/ Nova/Chetti vs Doring/Roadkill vs The Baldies and a pretty alright ME w/ Storm vs Credible. Does Matt Hardy have issues with saying 'shit'?

Touche. That's actually one of the best ECW matches of the later years, along with Nicho/Tajiri.

Awesome/Credible vs Lynn/Tanaka was good. But I agree for the most part, their best matches (and only memorable matches) have been against each other. Though Awesome did have a killer match with Kobashi in 98(?) but that's neither here nor there.

Benoit and Eddy should cross paths backstage on Smackdown this week, give each other a "What the fuck was that all about?" look and keep on walking.
