One Night Stand To Receive Little Promotion by WWE

I don't buy into this "Post 1996 ECW= Crap" stuff that's going around, simply because they still managed to put on kickass matches after that. Tajiri vs Psicosis from the ECW Arena September 2000 is still on par with anything that company had ever done in previous years. -
I'm sure they'll find a way to make those who forgot remember. I didn't mean to define the terms of good and evil in such a clear cut way, just that there are two men who stand for different things (Jack and Locke) and there is one who is basically in the middle of it all (Sayid.)

I live in a pretty basic suburb outside of Toronto and had never seen a hooker outside of T-Dot before-until last night. From the 9th floor of my friends apartment balcony we watched a trick/john deal go down on a street corner. Kinda odd, considering the only sexual claim to fame around here is that an episode of MILF Hunter.com was filmed here. Any fun hooker stories?
-
I was thinking for a minute that Shannon was going to shoot Locke and Jack was going to walk away.
-
One thing this episode did very well is make it perfectly clear that Sayid is sitting right on the fence during this whole thing. Good- Jack Undecided- Sayid Evil- Locke. It was well done because Sayid cannot trust Locke but is way too intrigued about what he knows to fully side with Jack (as seen when Sayid suggests that they open the hatch). I was kinda dissapointed that it was Locke who hit Sayid. I was always looking forward to the theory that it was Walt and Locke was just covering for him, though I suppose they could still pull it off. They should do Sawyer vs Locke on the basis that Locke planted the idea that it was Sawyer who knocked out Sayid, which in turn led to the torture, knifing etc.
-
I'm underwhelmed for the first time in a while. Solid ep but nothing really special. Sayid's story was kind of a letdown. Next week looks off the chain, though. I freaked when I saw Walt telling Locke not to open the hatch.

Vince sees way too many dollar signs in the form of smarks wallets for PPV's to see how this one would play out if they booked it right. That and the fact that the chants are only going to get worse. So, pick a time frame and the winner......uh.....the winner gets bragging rights. Whopdee-fuckin-doo. I'm going with 3 months to allow Matt to get his Hardy Boyz/Indy time in with a slow build angle surrounding Lita and Edge starting to occur around that time.

There are people out there who wouldn't? Zoinks.

Nobody can stop Tha Romber. Thank Christ the OG's are finally gone.

I think it would be awesome if Kate conned Sawyer into going after Locke for her, only for Sawyer to turn around and strike a deal with Locke to kill Kate. No real reason for Kate to die, I'd just like to see Sawyer fuck her over big time 'cause he seems to be the only one who recognizes her for what she is.

Edge and Christian vs Benoit and Benjamin was some solid stuff. Give that 20 mins on PPV and you'll get an easy ****. -

It'd be nice if they could send Benoit, Christian and Benjamin to Smackdown, then I wouldn't need to tune into RAW anymore. -
Are you kidding? Shannon and Jack are tied with the two people who'd most likely want revenge. Fun fact: The issue of Entertainment Weekly that feature the Lost guys on the cover was the magazine's eight hundred and fifteenth issue.

Nah. That'll be a semi, maybe have Lita turn on Kane then and side with Edge. Finals are gonna be Benoit vs HBK or Benoit vs Edge. -
Because this type of episode needs a preview 24 hours ahead of schedule. Next Episode: Wednesday, May 4, 8/7c "The Greater Good" After burying one of their own, tempers flare as the castaways' suspicions of each other grow -- and an unlikely survivor vows revenge. Meanwhile, Claire and Charlie struggle to calm her newborn. Who's everybody's pick for the "unlikely survivor"? I'm saying Walt.

People who don't shut the fuck up during movies
Lord of The Curry replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Chat
Me and Rudo saw Romeo Must Die and the theatre was roughly 49% black, 49% asian and then the two of us. Pretty fun stuff. I recall a good amount of the theatre barking like dogs when DMX first appeared on screen. Kotz- I doubt you'll have any problems with talkers at the midnight Episode 3 showing. Everybody is there to watch it and take it in. Now, the opening weekend where the casual fans and kids are there will be a mess. -

No. Batista is not Brock, HHH is not Rock. BTW, all the people in this thread acting like HHH's job meant something can eat a bowl of dicks. -

I'm not getting this HBK/Edge love at all. Those two seemed so awkward together in the ring it was embarrasing. -
Thanks to the movie Garden State the first two now have.

Hopefully Batista will be around to help Benoit win all his other matches. Oh, that whacky Batista. -

Another broken neck and a job. -
I'm pretty sure this belongs here. But yeah, I was watching an episode of The Shield the other day and they used a song by The Magnetic Fields called "All my little words" during their ending sequence and it rocked bells. And seeing the hatch light up. Those who know will get it. Anywho, what have been some standout musical montages in TV for you?

On that note, the music they used during Charley's "Death" scene just killed me. I have never worked so hard to fight off tears then when I saw him hanging from that tree. -

Drew's was great. CSI used "How to dissapear completely" by Radiohead to cap an episode off and I marked pretty bad.
