Don't mind the new meat, Banky. He's a goof. I'd say you're spot-on with your assesment.

Just because you've never seen Benoit cut a good promo doesn't mean said promo's don't exist.
-
Hmmmm. Lemme think here. Yeah, you're wrong on that one.
-
Doesn't change the fact that Benoit cuts better promo's then Orton.

I preordered Fable a few weeks back and (once RRR returns it) I plan on watching the bonus DVD that came with it over and over again. I'm not buying into the reports too much, just stoked as hell to finally play it.

Statement: Randy Orton has gotten more of a "rub" from the WWE as champ in 3 weeks then Benoit did in six months.

I would think so - seeing they are the only members of the roster who have had successful stints in various foreign organizations prior to their mainstream success. They are heavily respected for that. You could also make the argument they are still in their prime. It's really tough to judge for either of the two, considering that Benoit has been really good from the get-go and can put on two totally different but equally awsome ***** matches ten years apart (vs Sasuke and Angle, respectively.) Eddy only really started to pick up momentum after the botched heel turn on Tajiri and has upped his game signifigantly since then. But then again, he was also doing this back in 1995 with Benoit in New Japan, with Malenko in ECW and with Rey in WCW. I'm not sure if these guys have primes.

How many times have you watched Wayne's World?

"But the shopkeeper and his son........well, they were another story. I 'ad to beat 'em to deaf wit dere own shoes." -
Jericho was never a world class worker. Solid and consistent enough to be considered in the upper-tier of workers mainly due to his carrying ability but there's too many things going against him to even put him in the world class category.

Two 40's of St. Ides. Do it up,

I totally disagree. Joss has been writing comics for the X-Men franchise for a while now and they've been doing pretty good from what I hear. Joss is also very good at discovering young talent and finding a niche for them within a role (Xander, for example) and this is something that could be put to use in X3. Will he be as good as Singer? Probably not, but this is one of the better options.

I am mortally afraid for Colin and Christie after seeing next week's preview. The twins being twins all throughout the episode was money.

You're in the wrong thread if you're looking for the latter.

What now for Nick Dinsmore?
Lord of The Curry replied to The Tino Standard's topic in The WWE Folder
I doubt we're seeing another Gowen situation here, Dinsmore already having a leg-up on Zack........... *waits for the tomatoes* -

Too bad they already used up their "average white guy is hung" card with Storm because a team of Eugene and Val could do wonders. -
WWE fan wank material = Trish Stratus. Smark wank material = The Jumping Bomb Angels.

He needs to come back as Enegue, the evil twin brother of Eugene. -

Well, this takes on a whole new meaning now. -
I call bullshit on that one. Not crying over a broken arm? Only Hardcore Holly can do that and I doubt that you're Hardcore Holly.

WWE News & Notes from the 9/6 Observer
Lord of The Curry replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
I think he was making references to the matches he had before the neck injury, which I think are the best of his career (the whole Smackdown 6 thing). "he came back and suffered both a foot injury and a broken hand, before coming back, having great matches with Randy Orton and Jericho, and this injury popped up." Like I said, what great matches? Dave's fallen back on the rock again, I'm guessing since Angle has come back. -
Here guys, looks like you need these. Honestly, who gives a fuck? She got herself involved in something bad and in turn something bad happened to her. Done and done.

Considering the current state of SD, Vince would take Brock back in a heartbeat, no ifs ands or buts. -

I must have missed all those "great" matches Edge has been having since his return. Though him doing the book by himself is definetly a good thing as we all know what it's like when WWE ghostwrites stuff. -
