If this movie doesn't get best picture I doubt I'll ever watch the Oscars again. My reasoning for it not winning in 2001 was that it was going to be saved for a trilogy, as TTT was not the best movie in 2002 by a long shot. Warning: The following spoiler gives away the beggining and end of the movie~! Proceed w/ fucking serious caution!~ Spoiler (Highlight to Read): The Scouring of The Shire isn't in the movie. However, Jackson has stolen a page from it and made the showdown between Grima and Saruman take place at Orthanc. Grima stabs Saruman from behind in front of the fellowship, then lunges at Aragorn who ducks and Grima falls off Orthanc. The end of the movie is the hobbits returning to a happy, normal Shire, w/ Frodo proceeding to the Grey Havens soon afterwards, along w/ Bilbo and Gandalf. There have been no plans so far to include the Hobbits stay in Rivendell.

I started one when it originally leaked but I was held down for some stupid reason. Anyways, yeah. The movie is going to be good. Really really good. I think a lot of purists are afraid to admit that this movie could be *the one*, even though from what we've seen in the trailer, it's quite possible.

I'm still waiting for Edge to talk about the infamous "baby oil" incident w/ Bradshaw, as most rumours pointed out Edge as the rookie in question that got hog tied.

I just bought the Audioslave CD today and sweet fuck, that is some fine-ass music IMO. I was a tad worried that I'd be getting Rage Part II but it's nothing of the sort. Lots and lots of really solid stuff here. "Like A Stone" = Song of the year (right now)

So, they fucked up Ultimo right after his debut. Seems like they've set the bar pretty high this time, so the question seems to be: Can the WWE fuck up Yang even BEFORE his debut?

That's the problem with Big Show, the guy is the kill-all monster when he's in a Main Event setting but outside that, when he's in the midcard he's fair game.

This could be Bret/Austin II if done correctly. Mock me if you will, I'm sticking to my guns. Don't you bring up this topic every time that Angle drops down to a mid-card feud, AS? *mocks* You need to watch Bret/Austin again, sport. Cena/Angle will be fast-paced and full of hiptosses and dropkicks that will be used to hide the lack of substance this feud carries.

It isn't nescessarily their spot on their card, it's in the way the company treats them even if they're not main eventing for the title. When Angle isn't main eventing for the title he is not treated and talked about like he's a main eventer. Taker, HBK etc. are.

Angle is truly an established main eventer. That's debateable. One could argue that in order to have solidified a main event slot, one would have to have a successful title run. *Looks at all of Angle's title runs* Yeah, that doesn't work.

Aside from the obvious (Return of the King), here's what I'm looking forward to in these finals months of the year........... The Passion: I am very very interested to see this movie. While not being a particularly faithful Christian the story of Jesus has always interested me a lot. If it's true that the film is done without any subtitles (the whole movie is in Arabic) then this will be a serious expirience. Last In Translation: I can't remember being so excited about seing one performance then Billy Murray in this movie.
