I agree. It was good. Then I saw Rod Strong fuck up a member of Blood Gen (CIMA, I do believe) with an approximately 1 minute long vertical suplex.

I said this over at DVDVR after watching the first episode, and it held true until he was fired; Brent was just fat Markus. Two weeks in a ROW, Brent suggested the same horrible "LET'S GIVE MASSAGES~!" idea that nobody liked. Clearly these are people who watched Season 4 and realized the best idea would be to marginalize Brent, who responded by getting extremely pushy with anyone he could corner.

When I went to the last Nashville show, I got that AJ Styles baseball jersey shirt. I love it.

It is, indeed, Nunzio. He's blown it big time...oh well, time for How I Met Your Mother.

Favorite World Heavyweight Title Match (currently the SDown Title): Benoit vs. HHH vs. Michaels, WM20 (though there's not that many choices to go with.) Favorite WWE Title Match (currently the RAW Title): Hogan vs. Savage, WM5 Favorite IC Title Match: Steamboat vs. Savage, WM3 Favorite US Title Match: Cena vs. Big Show, WM20 (because it's the only one.) Favorite WWE Tag Title Match (SDown Tag Titles): Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros vs. Benoit/Rhyno, WM19 Favorite World Tag Title Match (RAW Tag Titles): Hardy Boyz vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian, WM2000/16 Favorite Cruiswerweight Title Match (includes the Light Heavyweight Matches from the past): Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy, WM 19 Favorite Women's Title Match: Trish vs. Lita vs. Jazz, WM18 (Past Titles): Favorite Hardcore Title Match: Hardcore Invitational, WM2000/16 Favorite Million Dollar Title Match: Jake Roberts vs. Ted DiBiase (I...I guess. The other options are Virgil vs. DiBiase and Austin vs. Savio Vega, but neither of those were for the physical belt, right?) Favorite Non-Title Singles Match: Michaels vs. Jericho, WM19 Favorite Battle Royal: Tied between WM2 WWF/NFL Battle Royal and WM17 Gimmick Battle Royal Favorite Non-Title Tag Match: Brainbusters vs. Strike Force, WM5 Favorite Multi-Man non-Title Match (any non-normal 2v2 Tag Match that involves at least 3 participants): Money in the Bank 1, WM21 Ok, and finally, pick your total Top 10 WrestleMania matches (can be any kind of match, and it can be one you've already listed): 10. Chris Jericho vs. Christian, WM20 9. Dream Team vs. British Bulldogs, WM2 8. Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart, WM12 7. Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior, WM6 6. Michaels vs. HHH vs. Benoit, WM20 5. Money in the Bank 1, WM21 4. Ricky Steamboat vs. Randy Savage, WM3 3. Dudleyz vs. Hardyz vs. Edge & Christian, WM16 2. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho, WM19 1. Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage, WM5 EDIT: Just realized we did forget the European Title, which is good, because I picked Steamer/Savage over Jericho/Benoit/Angle.

Bob's still working as a wrestler in North Florida. I keep seeing flyers around here for him working the local AWA affiliate. Yeah. North Florida indies are so weak we don't have a NWA affiliate. We have an AWA affiliate.
-
Well...we have to wait at least two weeks for the THIRD part of this arc. But damnit, I want it now!

Sanae Kikuta 1st – Hearts On Fire (by John Cafferty) (from ?) Rocky IV.

I moved from Nashville to North Florida middle of last year; that said, if they went back and did a show there...I'd go up for that. The building CAN have a good live atmosphere.

I found another Eddie tribute, this one set to "Higher" by Creed. I'll upload it when I get home tonight.

Sonjay's such a great spotfest guy, it's fun to watch him (and I'm the only sprinkler mark in the world). I also like Roode, think he's a solid (re: jam up, etc. who are you to doubt bobby roode?) guy, and the second best wrestler in Team Canada behind Petey. But I'm a Sonjay mark.

I think we all know this is Kriss Sprules. C'mon. He knows more about wrestling than all of us combined! MOTY 2005!
-
Am I the only one thinking this Shelton thing could lead to him winning for once? They clearly have something for him, as opposed to Carlito, no matter how bad it is.
-
This series of Orton/Taker segments sounds like the absolute worst thing ever. When you're calling back to HOGAN VS. WARRIOR 2 it's time to pack it in and head home. I'm looking at you, Undertaker.
-
In Hogan's defense (that he was ONLY in it for the money), he was a fan of the business before he got into it. Warrior was a failed bodybuilding experiment that found he could make money in wrestling by being a nut. Hogan got in, hit paydirt, and then (in his own mind, at the very least) had ideas that helped make him (and everyone else, mind you) more money. Warrior, best I can tell, never had any big ideas that helped make any money. He just did his thing.

Eric Prydz - "Call On Me" for the win.

I just want to say I'd dig a Jarrett/AMW/Abyss/Roode vs. Raven/3D/Truth/Hardy tag to kick off 2006.
-
Uh...ok...Jarrett -> Styles -> Raven -> Jarrett -> Rhino...in 10 months. They're also not trying to get you to take their champions seriously by having them hold their belts from April to present-day. Don't see the logic in that statement.
-
I'd almost think that's how they'd HAVE to book it, honestly. Rhino got a lucky Gore and was able to avoid the guitar shots. There's really no logical way for him to have easily handled a fresh Jarrett after the brutal Monster's Ball and the Gauntlet. From a kayfabe point of view, Jarrett's now had nearly two weeks to prepare for Rhino, and is able to actually watch their last match (their first match ever against each other) and tailor his gameplan (and cheating strategy, because hey, it's Jarrett) to make sure he wins. It's frighteningly smart if you think about it, even if you don't like Jarrett as champ.

Just to throw it out there, Riley was getting beatdown by...I want to say Abyss, and Raven (feuding with Abyss at the time) came out to save him. Riley saw it as Raven being his savior. After he did it the second time (again by mere coincidence, I think it was Abyss again or Rhino), Riley adopted the Raven "look". At first, Raven didn't mention his existance at all, but I suppose they changed that now.

BREAKING NEWS - KEVIN NASH IN HOSPITAL IN ORLANDO
Coolclint replied to Jebus's topic in TNA Wrestling
Techincally, it's not opening. They consider the 30 minutes part of the show (and it's part of the replays), so the four-way is the opening match. Joe-Liger is just going on second, which means (I assume) we'll see the six-man placed somewhere for a cool-down match later in the card. -
