gotta love TNA production F-ups.

nash looks older than hogan and flair combined. He needs to get Bischoff's old just for men.

I think we have a winner.

I say Joe comes out last and turns heel tonight. Kong off the top rope was ridiculously awesome.

Actually looking forward to the women's championship match. The whole "serious" beautiful people angle is a nice change of pace. Even though the Dudleys are as stale can be, the most intriguing match is the tag title match. Really like a serious beer money team. Can't say I'm too excited about Sting vs Foley given foley's shape/age and sting's last main event ppv performance. Otherwise solid card. A little off subject: Can someone answer me this: Didn't Hernandez use his briefcase title shot on an impact soon after winning it against sting and didn't win. If I am rememebering this correctly, why does he still have the briefcase/title shot? Anyways, given that outside of promos, the foley vs. sting match has the potential to just be downright ugly, can see sting retaining and then being challenged by Hernandez at the end of the card and then losing.

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

It will be interesting to see what they do with Punk's title shot. Given that he has already done the almost heel-like cash in on already beaten up/injured champion, they have to do something different...unless they turn him heel prior to it (straight edge heel punk would be fantastic, but probably not happening anytime soon). Will he be the first MOB winner to challenge and lose? He blew his proverbial load by very quickly cashing it in last time. Will they have him cash it in at next Wrestlemania? Unlikely given his size and my guess that Vince/creative don't think of him as a true headliner of a PPV at this point, let alone the biggest of the year. As opposed to edge who cashed it in in sort of the same sneaky way, they'll have to be creative with Punk's 2nd time around. Hopefully, they don't have him lose his opportunity Kennedy style (although of course he was legit injured). Thoughts? -

How about now Punk cashes in after Orton retains tonight? He did lose his first title because of Orton's punt afterall. -
The only thing i learned from the Jericho-Show match? Anybody who thinks Jericho even has a smidge of a chance at winning Money in the bank is Nuts.

Well, I guess we'll see Kendrick vs. London...when they get "traded" to smackdown or ECW post-mania.

You might be a redneck if you can afford insurance on your house and choose not to get it. Anyways, just to add to the above talk about Jeff's finances, I'm sure TNA paid him a bunch also when he was there, in addition to the merchandise he moved. Even if Jeff had serious financial problems because of his house burning down, I'm sure Vince (even though Jeff keeps letting the company down) would help out. Despite his on screen character and back stage "politics", Vince usually comes through for guys who have been employed by him in serious situations like this.

I mentioned this in another thread awhile ago but as a fan actually attending the event, this has to be the worst match to see live (or not see really). With all the chain obstructing vision and more significantly, the camera guys blocking the fans vision VERY significantly. it's amatch much better to see at home than actually attend. I saw the NYR chamber in Albany, was 3rd row, and it was awful as a paying customer viewing wise. Though, it's my favorite EC because it was the only one that almost came to be what it should be: to put over a talent (s) that isn't big yet but should be pushed. When Carlito and Masters were two of the last 3, when most figured they'd be the first two gone, it was very exciting and the whole teaming up together to take everyone out was done quite well. Not saying that Carlito/MAsters should have been a long time champion (could have easily been beaten at RR two weeks later like they did with Edge) but it would should be the one type of match where UNPREDICTABILITY rules, given there are so many variables (6 guys, random order of entry). The Royal Rumble (aside from this year) and Mania, and usually SS are so predictable in terms of who's going over usually that the WWE needs this match to be the one that is different. Just my two cents.

On the bright side, at least we won't have Hogan-Show at WM as rumored the last few years. -

I still say Cena gets screwed at NWO (perhaps by a returning Big Show), leaving HHH to take the title from Orton at mania. Also, I'll call it: it will be Undertaker vs. Flair at mania. -
AS someone who saw an elimination chamber match up close in Albany, Ny, I can't think of anything worse for people actually attending the event than to see, or actually not see, two elimination chamber matches. All the chains obstruct your view of the wrestlers/ the match, and worse the cameramen are constantly in your viewing range (I was 3rd row from the ring). Really, the elimination chamber has to be the worst match to see in person (well, maybe hell in a cell is bad too, I don't know).
-
Face HHH is awful...and always will be.
-
Actually, I loved how heel Eddie in old WCW used to carry his crusierweight belt over his back like he didn't care.
-
Ah, Big Show could return at NWO and cost Cena the title (show wanting to make an impact/ mad at Cena for stealing his thunder...and even refer to their feud over the US title way back when).
-
No. It's going to be Triple H-Cena II. There's no way they won't put Cena in the main event. Not to mention that they usually like to deliver fresh matches or prolonged rematches and Orton has wrestled both Cena and Triple H within the past year. Actually, you have 4 faces (and two heels who have zero chance of winning the chamber). Yeah, Orton winning at NWO...probably by a run-in by someone costing Cena the title (have no idea...Batista?). Orton (hell) vs. HHH (face). Book it and lock it.
-
Lillian proving once again why the Fink should always be the announcer.
-
Um, that would have been much better if Vince turned to HHH and said "and if you lose to Flair, you don't get to be in the rumble". Now,it's predictable. Perhaps the fingerpoke of doom revisited? EDIT: Loose cannon beat me to it.

Wow, this whole match was like in slow motion. The crowd may suck, but this match would have taken them out of it regardless.
