I don't think they will, and I don't necessarly think they should either. Being Matt's valet was a perfect position for him. I'd rather him do that then do nothing. I agree. That was the most entertaining thing he's done since 3 Count. Oh please bring back 3 Count: Funny Gimmick and actually were the most entertaining part of nitro when they faced the Jung Dragons; really good, entertaining spotfests....much better than any match the cruiserweights have ever had in WWE.

Well, since it's going on, try this scenario: RVD wins money in the bank at WM 22. Cashes in at one night stand against HHH (why would HHH be at ONS? Well maybe the money in the bank match stipulation includes when and where the winner wants it, I don't know). RVD wins title in front of ECW fans, being super-over and Triple H does this so he can get closer to 17 reigns in rematch at summer slam.

An idea for the end of Joe's undefeated streak...
Superfly Snuka replied to gWIL's topic in TNA Wrestling
Why not just have Joe, after a three moremonths (so it's a fairly lengthy reign), just throw down the belt (because he's focused now on something bigger- the world title)or have it stripped from him by Zybysko, which frees him up to go after the World Champ. This would be ala the Stone Cold - Rock IC title feud when Austin threw the belt in the river because the Rock was going to get it, I think, because of the Board of trustees or something like that (don't remember exactly everything)....Makes sense to me, or just do the title for title where Joe wins and the X title is then settled in a tournamentthe next PPV. -
How is Taker a heel; Angle had to cheat multiple times to beat Mark Henry. All Taker (who I hate, though) did was show he wants the title. Seems they're trying to make Angle a "win at any costs heel". Confusing....

Does anyone think Carlito or Masters will get a World title shot (one on one) by the end of the year, given their push last night?

Hmmm...maybe the new drug policy is actually working. Saw him in person last night at NYR (was in the second row); looked smaller live, while Big Show/triple H/Cena looked bigger live.

Well, this is the first PPV in 2006, so I guess it has to be "the most exciting ending to a PPV in 2006". -

What they should do with Joe and Jarrett following Turning Point.
Superfly Snuka posted a topic in TNA Wrestling
Hey I posted this at wrestleview.com in response to Turning point thread. Wanted your thought on this: What they should do, since we all know Jarrett's going to keep the belt for another 5 or 6 months is have Joe stay heel, and destroy all comers in the X-division for next 4 -5 months, and as Jarrett keeps on defeating guys cheapily over these months, the fans will make Joe so popular that he becomes (not that he isn't already) the logical choice to dethrone Jarrett. So Jarrett comes out after beating Cage/Monty/ or whoever and says "everyone has tried, but no can beat me." And Joe, though still heel, comes out to confront Jarrett and Jarrett is scared Sh*tless", leading to a title for title match. I think Joe will become the heel that you can't help but like (even over AJ) and the fans make him the popular guy even though his character/demeanor doesn't change fro m being a heel. Really, I think this would be one for TNA to distinguish themselves from WWE even more; WWE has no one like Joe on their roster currently, while they have a ton of guys like Cage/Monty/Jarret etc. Though, I still would like to see Raven win the title back at some point and have a good run with it (although they dropped the ball a couple of years ago when they had him lose to Jarrett after Jarrett took everyone's finisher and was able to still beat Raven). -

Exactly. And getting destroyed by Joe in their first match would be a good start, where the Jarrett character can be off TV for 3-6 months and be repackaged. -

Not that I'd ever have Jarrett go over for the X-title, but it would go with his whole character of taking over/running TNA despite TNA's wishes. He has promos where he says he's going to become the top dog not only by being the heavyweight champ, but also by taking what the fans/federation hold most dear...their identity...the x-division title. He could even threaten to throw down the title when he wins it during his promos leading up to the match., which would make his heel heat at least a little legitimate in th"good" sense of the word for once. But, I would in no way, have Joe lose to Jarrett or become a babyface along the way. Fans cheer Joe just because he is that damn good, out of respect, not because his character changes. Obviously, after Joe wins the heavyweight title, the X-division has a tournament to crown a new champion , with either qualifying matches on imapct or just one PPV devoted fully to a tournament (with no other matches). -
One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

Orlando Jordan was giving one-liners on the commentary; actually Jordan did say "you f*cked up" when Tanaka did his diamond dust maneauver on Awesome and awesome messed up, which was kind of funny because the ECW fans didn't surprisingly chant that -

Hey just saw the dvd with JBL's alternate commentary. Nothing good at all about it; not funny even, just ...boring, really. Oh, and for all you marks who thought JBL was entertained. came to appreciate the Awesome/Tanaka match and were wondering why they aren't in his cabinet, but were you guys wrong. Not one good thing said about either (he was just mocking them, noting how they were out of shape and how Tanka was his doorman). -
Anyone verify if Lita's nipple slipped out? I missed it. Anyways, numerous other wrestling websites are saying it popped out, so if anyone can poat a link to it (video or jpeg), I'll make the official determination.

i really like Mordecai's Cathedral naming of the STF as the STF-U for Cena; that would stay with his gimmick well too. I say Cena should do this (maybe bust it out on HHH at Summer slam)
-
Speaking of new finshers/additional finishers, I think both Cena and Batista need additional finsher type moves, to build them into more credeible champions. I think a submission move would help them both, when the Rock added the Sharp shooter (even though he did the worst one in wrestling history) it made him see a little bit more of a threat than just straight up brawler. One of them, probably Cena, should add a move like the STF (I don't know why anyone doesn't use this anymore).

Okay, the first thing he needs is a different name and music (ie, repackaging); does anyone release that he really hasn't changed ihis entrance/name in 6 years (other than shaved head). I think pretty much everyone else has been repackaged. Problem is right now, everyone has done something to him despite his size (morgan and Brock did F5s to him, Angle did angle slams to him, etc.) To be revamped and credible he needs: 1. To be traded to Raw 2. Repackaged with a different name (Big show sounded stupid when he debuted in WWE and does still) 3. A manager

Hey, I'll throw this out there: anyone know how long Raven has on his contract? With WWE contacting other ECW guys for a possible ECW long term revival (hey, supposedly SABU is meeting up wih Vince today, and you know it can't be to be a Raw or smackdown performer), is this a bone TNA is gibing to Raven so he doesn't bol6 if contacted when his contract is up? Just throwing it out ther...

Look, let's be real: The WWE should in no way consider bringing Awesome back until he grows back the mullet. I mean, honestly, Awesome lost all believeability of being "awesome" without his awesome mullet. -
Saw the road warrior dvds; ecellent. Funny though, when they talk about how/why hawk died, even though they mentioned he became a born-again christian and had nothing in his system drug-wise, they never mention the #1 reason why his body gave out and he died: Heepings and heepings of steroids, I find it sadly funny how the documentary part is so focused on them in the gym and "benching 650 lbs " and how they never addressed steroids (especially since hawk numerous times had stated he didn't think steroids had any real side effects). It just sucks that even though he apparently turned his life around, they imply at the end he died because of drugs (not anabolic) and alcohol.

I would pay for 2 dvds of just his insane rants; forget matches. He and Hulk defined the backstage 80s interview (besides flair, of course)

If they did another ECW PPV, the best place would be the Elk's Lodge; the fans just appear and feel like they are right over the ring.
