Beth was stupid, but it's hard to know what to do in that spot right away i guess. Stay in character (the show must go on as Vince would say) and do a quick cover which makes no sense given her character. Ref should have just called a TKO and that would have made Beth look strong. Anyways, how long was the 2 out of 3 match supposed with the main even tag supposed to go on afterwards? Anyone know if the original plan was for Beth to win in 2 straight falls?

Eddie was a phenomenol talent, and I enjoyed pretty much all his matches. However, I wonder how most would remember him if he never won the WWE title. If he didn't take steroids,and subsequently have the look, he NEVER would have have been pushed with the title, period. I wonder if people would just remember him then as a great wrestler, story teller, yes, but in the end just a Matt Hardy -like mid carder. I voted for the Brock Lesnar WWE match, because the match was told quite well by both, but i can't look at that match without seeing the tremendous amount of backacne on Eddie and realize a little what he had to do to get to this point. For people who didn't think he took roids (before he died), I submit to you this match as true visual evidence. Having said this, I REALLY was interested in seeing where his character was going to go around the time of him fighting Batista for the title. The ambiguity of the him trying to be good but having the cheating/heel tendency underneath of the character was awesome and had many directions in which the WWE could have gone.

Actually, I thought Vince had little to no choice, given that Kennedy (once again) screwed up by being by busted in the NATIONWIDE steroid probe. Surely, you couldn't have expected them to push Kennedy with the major plot line of the summer given he had to be suspended with all the negative national media after the whole Benoit thing. To tell you the truth, as there was really no other person that would have made sense/received such a major push, i thought turning it into comedy to finish it qucikly was fine.

Dude, with all the roid heads in wrestling, you really want to see all the backne in HD? Seeing Snitsky alone in HD may cause to give up watching wrestling, period.

Actually, I'd rather have Punk lose here than Morrison be squashed in his first match back. Punk would be in the interesting position of having two feuds, wanting to concentrate on morrison and regaining the title, but having to worry about big Daddy V. perhaps, this could be a way to introduce his old stablemate from his ROH days? Anyways, although people crapped on him here, I really thought Nitro became a much better character as Morrison, and as evidenced by their last match, Morrison and punk are the best thing going in ECW. Only thing that sucks is that Burke has been screwed, but that's nothing new. Kelly Kelly looks really hot hot tonight (in an older, sluttier way, as opposed to the teen, sluttier way).

Is there any reason why JR doesn't remember what HHH did to Orton when HE won the title the first time? That's why, JR, that's why. Umaga really needs to try and eat HHH here. Literally.

The booking would have been fine if they just eliminated the HHH-Umaga match. Have HHH win the belt in the first match, have Orton go over clean in the LMS match exercising his rematch clause (could even do it last minute so HHH is reall surprised), and this sets up HIAC perfectly putting both guys over. Now Orton just looks like a Jericho World champ (ie, HHH's bitch with inevitable HHH victory).

How about blame roid-fueled Kennedy?

Uh, and stop the match, lift up the chamber for Jericho to enter, then lower it back down?!?! If you wanted to do this idea, though i wouldn't, you'd have to have Jericho come out in a mask and fullbody suit/gear while in the pod, then when he wins unmask as Jericho. Little too much, i think.

I gotta think the new champ will be from somewhere other than from the Raw Roster. Either smackdown or time to bring in SID or something. Actually, just switch the Undertaker to Raw and have him challenge Orton at No Mercy. At least there's history there. Or they could just do the right thing, and make Jericho the surprise challenger at No Mercy. This makes sense on so many levels, since it seems they're trying to reintroduce him at No Mercy anyways. might as well do it with a real bang.

Ok, we get that you hate Cena. Personally, I think John Cena used steriods back in his OVW and UPW days, but I don't think he uses them now. I mean it is possible that he has that physique naturally through good genetics. Im not ruling out that he does, but remember he was a freakin center in college when he played football. He's just a big guy naturally. Im more than willing to give Cena the benefit of the doubt when it comes to roids, than Ken Kennedy or Rey Mysterio. Uh, you have seen his father on Raw rrecently, right. If I were a betting man, I'd say he used roids to get his body to this point (like in his Indy days), then maintained it naturally...though he never could have achieved this body likely without being on roids in the first place. Much easier to maintain muscle naturally once you've built it up from roids.

Two things: 1) Loved that they had Butch Reed as part of the groom's side, alluding to Teddy's days in WCW and the awesome tag team of Doom. 2) Teddy Long is an awful actor. Worst death/heart attack ever.
