  1. I stopped really paying attention to her message when she name dropped her circle of friends and started asking God for blessings while calling two people scumbags. Just another scorned lover in my book. Maybe she can hook up with Matt and they can have bitter babies.

    Storm/JBL/Holly dispute

The booking had absolutely NOTHING to do with that right? It's not as though they actually tried to give Eddie something to work with, but they decided to force feed us almost a year of JBL on top. That seems pretty comparable to me. Ugh.

Anyone else notice JBL's Hitler bloodstache? That was kind of funny to me.

How hyped are yall for WM21?

What exactly does "watch a show like a mark" actually mean? Does that mean I'm supposed to shit in my pants during Undertaker's intro since he's so mean and scary? Did you see him set the ring on fire the other day?!?!? *gasp* Should I pop for HHH since he ROOLZ? Should I be jerking off during Trish/Christy since that's WWE's version of porn? How about ripping my t-shirt off when Hogan make his appearance? Or smashing some soda/beer cans together when Austin starts causing trouble? Should I chant "WHAT?" during every pause during a promo on the show? Granted, I may have gone over the top with the sarcasm, but if I didn't do that shit when I was 7, there's no way I'm going to do that at 27. It wouldn't make a bad show any better if I did that, and it wouldn't diminish from a great show if I didn't. Dumbing yourself down is just that, dumb.

How hyped are yall for WM21?

As someone who hasn't paid for a PPV in 10 years (so that's not the issue), I think this is the least excited about a major event I've been in that entire timeframe. Eight matches doesn't seem like enough, especially when two of them have no business being on the show. The 'Money in the Bank' match would be tolerable if Benjamin wasn't in it, or if he'd dropped the title before the show. I just don't understand the concept of three champions wrestling matches with their belts not on the line (this assumes Eddie & Rey don't drop their titles tonight at the tapings). I already saw the climax of Batista/HHH with the table spot a couple of weeks ago, and things have gone downhill since then. Orton/Taker has no real purpose if Randy needs time off and Angle/Michaels is just there for the sake of being there. Cena may or may not get the title although I'm certain he'll get the victory, and there's nothing right now that seems like a "WrestleMania moment" in the making with the possible exception of Piper's Pit. For a regular PPV, these kinds of matches would be great, for a WM, they just seem really lacking.

    Why all the Orton hate?

Yeah, but there's the matter of 'Taker all but giving up on having good matches over the course of the last 3 years. I can't even remember the last time I enjoyed a match with him in it. It might have been way back with RVD either in late 2001 or early 2002. Since then he's looked every bit of the broken down old timer hanging on to past glory, and I don't anticipate that changing next Sunday night.

He's just a "Sexy Kurt" (sexy Kuuuuuuuuuuurt) That was great, but Shawn Michaels killed my interest as soon as he got on my screen. I don't know why he inspires that reaction these days, but I just hate everything he stands for.

    Why all the Orton hate?

Beating up senior citizens and "fake" legends like RVD & Booker T isn't exactly the same as ending 'Taker's streak at WM. As I mentioned in the Orton promo thread it makes no sense whatsoever to put Orton over after turning heel just 13 days before the match. When you take into account that no one outside of Orton marks would even perceive Randy as on the same level, you've got a recipe for disaster. There is no build up here, and there will not be an adequate follow up because Orton is screwed either way. If he stays on RAW, he's still beneath HHH in the pecking order. If he goes to SmackDown he doesn't have all of the superb and/or over workers to carry him (Benoit, Jericho, Benjamin, Michaels, HHH etc) anymore. Add in the fact that there's next to no way 'Taker won't get his win back in that scenario, and it's likely he'd bury Orton in truly heinous fashion if it meant he had to give up his streak in the first place. Basically, Orton's in a dead end situation, and that's pretty much because he's not nearly equipped to carry the ball they keep trying to give him for reasons I just cannot understand. If they gave half the effort to someone like Eddie, Christian, Edge or anyone else that the fans like in the midcard-upper midcard they'd have had a huge star on their hands. Instead, they've got a lukewarm guy who can't get over on his own and yet they still don't realize it's time to pull the plug on his push.

    Orton's RAW promo

Because he just reclaimed that character 13 days before WM XXI? It would have been one thing if they'd turned him heel at the Rumble, he eliminated 'Taker from the Rumble match, hunted him down at NWO (like Batista did to JBL), and basically jabbed at 'Taker for months leading into this match. It's quite something else to hotshot the biggest streak in WM history to him in the HOPES that the crowd won't shit all over him (again). The whole Orton title reign was a bad idea with no build up or follow up, and in my opinion that's what they're going to do here once again. Orton's fans have been Orton's fans for a while, he just doesn't seem to add any new ones in the same way that Batista and Cena have over that same time frame which is exactly why he should be in the midcard, and they should be in the Main Event.

    Orton's RAW promo

How can you make that judgment when Orton doesn't have a single item in the top 10 WWE Sellers list on Shopzone? Cena has items 1, 3, 5, 6 & 8. Some gift bags are # 2. Batista's at 4, a WM XXI t-shirt is 7, HHH is #9, and 'Taker rounds out the list. I also think the assertion that 30-40% of the crowd had 'Legend Killer' shirts at any time is straight up bullshit. Even in his heyday I don't think 2 in 5 people in the average crowd were wearing 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's items and he's likely the man who moved more merch than anyone in the last decade. As usual, Orton fans don't seem to have a solid grasp on the reality of any situation he's involved in.

    Orton's RAW promo

Sort of how things were when Orton beat Benoit for the belt, only with a guy who the fans WANT to see win the title in the first place huh?

    London/Chavo match unlikely at WM21

The orbital bone is basically the one surrounding your eye socket. The only problem with your idea is that for someone to take Chavo out in such a manner, they'd have to be a bigger heel than he is, and I'd guess the only guy on that level would be Spike Dudley. Dudley/London just doesn't seem like a WM match to me.

March, 17, 2005 WWE SmackDown! Thread

That's funny, 'cause I was thinking that 'Taker is without a doubt the worst established character in the WWE. I don't count the green guys from OVW who don't actually have a character yet. The amount of times you have to suspend your disbelief with this guy (and Kane for that matter) is just ridiculous. Every time he does something retarded like he did at the end of that segment it just makes him look comical and far too gimmicky these days. Sure, it was all fun and games during the cartoon era of the WWF, but now it just comes across as incredibly cheap, boring and stupid. Taker's over because the marks respond to the fact he hardly ever loses, no sells everything and has "supernatural powers" when he wants/remembers to. The guy is living on his legacy, which at this point in time I just cannot understand, and I only hope I won't have to put up with him killing off every one of his opponents in bland, brawl filled, glorified squashes for too much longer. Basically, IMO 'Taker sucks in every way imaginable.
