I really didn't find him to be sympathetic in the OVA, the movie however, yeah, but nothing changes the fact I love Isamu's character, it's just amusing to watch him spout off some of the things he tells people. My favorite DBZ movie is #12: The Rebirth of Fusion! Gotenks rocks.

The movie is basically the OVA spliced together, excising some footage and adding a few minutes of new stuff. I think the movie's a little more sympathetic to Guld, but they're pretty interchangeable. Other way around, the movie is the original planned form of Macross Plus. Sponsors forced Shoji Kawamori to turn into an OVA, adding in such nonsense as the Gun subplot, and one cool scene in the original intro for Isamu. As far as Guld, I doubt there is really anyway to show him as a sympathetic character, considering what happened between him, Isamu and Myung. The best thing about the movie is Guld's death is changed and the ending is more extended and doesn't suddenly end. That was my sole complaint about the OVA form of Plus, it goes from Guld's death to the ending in a frightingly quick manner. However, I suggest watching Macross Zero(Prequel to SDF Macross), if only to see the amazing dogfights, however, Shoji Kawamori has turned into a total lunatic, where as Yoshiyuki Tomino(Gundam, and his various series) turned from "Kill 'Em All" into a great director (See: Turn A Gundam, King Overman Gainer, Wings of Rean and his newer series) Kawamori fell into the "MUSIC IS A WEAPON!" and total nonsense with Macross 7 and Macross Zero. Why do I not like Macross 7? Space monsters and pretty furball elfs. Edit: Huh, I dislike Macross 7, but yet I have Nekki Basara VF-19 Custom as my av.

Ah a fellow Houstonian? I'm more of a Rod Ryan fan myself than Walton and Johnson. W&J's whole schtick grew old to me after awhile. It's cool that they can create all those different voices, but the show doesn't have much variety as far as content and such. As far as songs stuck on my mind...nothing right now thankfully, but if I read this thread much longer each and every one of these songs will be on my mind....except the ones I don't know. Yup, I used to listen only to Rock 101 KLOL, until Clear Channel thought it'd be cute to can it and replace it with the 16th Spanish Speaking station in houston. Well, Gundam SEED was a shitty attempt at remaking First Gundam(Mobile Suit Gundam) and Destiny was great, until it hit episode 13 and the walking plot device known as Kira Yamato came back. However, the CE Mangas(Gundam SEED Astray, Destiny Astray, Astray X, Astray R, and one I'm forgetting) are fairly good, just..the american release is total shit. Though..they're releasing another SEED series: CE 73 Stargazer, directed by Susumu Nishizawa. 1. King of Braves: GaoGaiGar - Recently announced as licensed for release in america. 2. Macross Plus 3. G Gundam 4. Getter Robo G/UFO Robo Grendizer 5. Cowboy Bebop Special K: Mazinger Z is really good, parts of the first episode are classic, like Kouji managing to close the scrander on his head.

Eh, the Zeta TV series were okay, but the newly released movies are a ton better and they have a happier ending for dear ol' Kamille now and cut the follow up series (Double Zeta) out of the UC Timeline alltogether.. Personally G Gundam and Turn A Gundam are the best Gundam series. For the love of god, avoid Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny.

I never personally saw the hype around backwards compatibilty myself, I mean..why do people like it so much? Are they going to run in with the new system, plug it in and throw the old one in the trash? The x-box games I like to play (Jade Emipre and a few others) run pretty well besides jade empire lagging in a few cut scenes. When I look for a game system backwards compatibilty is about the least thing I'm worried about. Games, specs and performance matter more to me. Personally I don't think it's a valid issue at all, I'm more concerned with the delayment of the next Morrowind and Ghost Recon: Advanced War Fighter than some bloody unimportant(to me) thing like backwards compatibilty. If you want to play x-box games, play them on the x-box, not the 360 unless you're really lazy and don't want to hook the system back up, or have it hooked up and are still too lazy to change to it. I see why it might be important to you however. I just don't care about backwards compatibilty, I felt that as a whole ruined the PS2 in performance.

These aren't hybrids..so take it for what you will. I say take a look at the Scion xB(or xA if you want the less ice cream truck like design.) If your looking for something cheap, the Scion xA starts out at $13,425 and the Scion xB at $14,395. Cons? They look like the children of a toaster and a ice cream truck, have low hp (both at right around the 100 mark.).but I think the price and mpg more than makes up for the design and the lack of hp. I'd much perfer the xB over the xA..if only for the increase in storage space it provides.
