It's such bullshit that the ravishing one isn't in the HOF yet. And I think you might be selling him short by calling him a mid-level guy. I know he never won the World Championship (they didn't pimp it out as much as they do now), but I considered him to be one of the company's main draws. Is Vince still pissed over Rude leaving the WWF and showing up on Nitro live while being part of the taped edition of RAW? And Tully and Double A have to go in together if they're ever inducted Mil Mascaras would be a better induction if he is not already in as he was always a huge draw whenever he fought in WWWF. Had a great run as a contender for Superstar Grahams world title.

116. In a ladder match gravity is sooooo strong that a wrestler ends up climbing it so slow that it gives the other wrestler the opportunity to reach up and stop the wrestler from grabbing the belt/briefcase/or whatever.

I would sign up for that tour.

What sucks is that one Federation will have 3 world champions. WWE, World Heavyweight, and now ECW. A little bit of overkill I think.

Bret Hart confirms he will not be at WrestleMania
gwf0704 replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Where exactly does it say that if you are inducted into any HOF that you are required to show? If they want to recognize you then thats fine, but it does not guarantee that the person will show. WWE can induct anyone they want, but it doesnt mean they have to attend. It seems like WWE is the one making a big deal out of it. So what if Brett doesnt want to show. They could induct Owen and if the widow wants to attend or not it still does not keep them from inducting him, its more of a justification for WWE, if they agree to show up, sort of a pat on the back for them. -
You might include something like the Rock N Roll HOF has where they have to have been in the business for at least 20 yrs or so. Otherwise people will include wrestlers like Samoa Joe, RVD and CM Punk. Not that they are not good, but this way you eliminate the flash in the pan types like Goldberg.

Is there going to be an Ironman movie?
gwf0704 replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Television & Film
I've always thought Kurt Russell would be a good Iron Man. Would also be a good Batman if it was the Frank Miller Batman. -
Undertaker was already called The Punisher as one of his early gimmicks in World Class Championship Wrestling.

Feuds That Could Have Happened But Never Did
gwf0704 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
Rick Rude v Mr Perfect would have been awesome as both were excellent technical wrestlers, both were great at the mic, and both had the arrogance to think they were better than the others. Keep them as heels fighting for the number one slot for Hogans belt and those matches would have been classic. Edge v Christian would have been great as both also would have been good heels who would have played up their past with each of them trying to give the other a conchairto. -
Its amazing to me that more people get offended by someone saying Benoit is an overrated blowhard than by someone saying the N word. It is a word but an offensive word. If I came up to your mom who is on her deathbed and said, whats up bitch, dont get upset, cause I didnt mean it in a bad way. Just inquiring on her status as her last few breaths are coming out. I guess you are all arguing that if it is not meant in a hateful way, but a playful way, or if it isnt said by the person of that race to others, then its ok. Then all I have to say is, Benoit sucks you banjo playing, white trash trailer park fools. Just kidding. I was only playing.... ps: Benoit sucks...

I think it would be a good thing if he did run. I think he would actually be the frontrunner of both the Democratic and Republican nominees due to the way he handled the events of 911. And he says he would run as a Republican. Thoughts?

Horsemen - Flair, RVD, Big Show, Benjamin Evolution - HHH, Edge, Snitski, Carlito Both teams would have the leaders (HHH/Flair), the behemoth (Show/Snitski), the established midcarder (Edge/RVD) and the future (Carlito/Benjamin) Would only like to see it as a Survivor Series blowoff match though.

Having a world champion that traveled from territory to territory defending his world title ala NWA champ and to an extent, AWA champ.

I know, WCCW had some very cool angles and matches. I read in Obsessedwithwrestling.com that Vince McMahon had offered Kevin Von Erick 50,000 for his library but Von Erich deemed it too low. You got Kerrys win over Flair for the World Title, Freebirds v Von Erichs, Kevin vs Adams, Jake the Snake vs the Von Erichs, Andre, Brody, Steve Austins wrestling debut. I would hold out for more money too.

Was it the original Canek or el hijo the Canek? Thought it was his son....

Brett Hart eliminates Michael Hayes by making Hayes tap out to the Sharpshooter. Hart stands up and is clotheslined over the top rope by IRS sending them both over the top rope. Terry Gordy, furious over being eliminated, decks Neidhart with a boot to the face which leaves Neidhart open for the Million Dollar Dream, to which Neidhart succumbs to. Winners : Money Inc.

If you mean which is the sickest looking blade I would vote for Fonzie when he wrestled Beaulah in ECW. Thought he was going to pass out for lack of blood.

Kevin Von Erich David Von Erich Bruiser Brody (already mentioned) El Santo (already mentioned) Blue Demon Canek Crusher Blackwell Stu Hart? Most of them did work for the NWA but not WCW...

I guess I am just too old school but I kind of like having one world champion and tag team champions. One per show kind of kills it for me. I kind of liked it when UT was champ and had to defend Jeff Hardy on Raw and then the same week deal with Angle on Smackdown. Have a blowoff match of current champs Batista and Cena and one of the Super Heroes and LOD to crown one champ and have them defend on both shows. It keeps the product more fresh because if the champ loses to a Smackdown guy then he has to stay on Smackdown and the champ has to defend on both. It would mean more work for the champs and more ppv defenses, but no one said being champion would be easy.

It's just good and smart business not to allow them(TNA specifically) to make money off their property. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That doesn't make Vince any less of a rotten cocksucker. People damn near kill themselves for his company and then he shits on them like they're garbage. He didn't create the gimmick, he shouldn't own the gimmick, and he's a peice of shit for stealing what doesn't belong from him. I agree that it's a better for his wallet, but fucking ETHICS should fit into the picture somewhere. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He should own the gimmick because he is the one who owns the property that the Dudley Boys were founded upon. The wrestlers know what they are giving up when they sign the contract. They hand over any rights to that name and know that they can't use the name unless it's their legal name in other promotions unless they have been granted permission. I don't think it's fair that Vince resorts to doing this but it's a perfectly acceptable business move to perserve their copyrights. Why should TNA be allowed to promote off Vince McMahon's empire? Maybe TNA and Dudleyz should look at this as a blessing. A chance for TAFKADB to reinvent themselfs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nevermind. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont understand what you mean by the phrase "they were founded upon". Do you mean financially? Because technically, since Raven did come up with the name it legally belonged to him. Too bad he didnt do a Pat Riley and trademark the name when he invented it, but I guess he was just trying to help out some fellow wrestlers make names for themselves and decided not to screw them over.

Demolition Smash pins Marty Jannety. He then gets dropkicked out of the ring and Edge and Christian do a conchairto on Axe for the 1, 2, 3. Thanks.
