For me it's DrVenkman just because I can't stand him on IRC.

I still think Mcmahon set the entire thing up by allowing Russo to go to wcw and destroy it creatively.

If Chris Benoit did this, everyone here would have a 673 page thread defending him.

You would think Pierre and Phaneuf were having a sexual relationship.

I would have loved the trade if Hudson wasn't included. They could have put Hinske or Hillenbrand in that. That being said, I loved to see Hillenbrand and Hinske go for a good middle reliever which is the only thing this team lacks.

Booker T injured December 27, 2005 According to WWE trainer Barry Hatch, Booker T suffered a strained groin muscle during his match last night at a SmackDown live event in White Plains. “Normally, this type of injury takes 4 to 6 weeks to heal,” said Hatch. “But Booker is a wrestler, so he’ll probably be ready sooner.” wwe.com First its the right leg, then its the right knee, now its the groin.

As a smoker myself, that picture doesn't bother me. As a matter of fact, she looks kinda hotter for some reason.

I shot George Bush because I'm a homosexual.

Did Inoki wrestle on that card? I thought it was unusual for the owner of the company to come out in his wrestling gear like that. Only thing I can think of is that either he had just wrestled or was just about to wrestle.

I have both NHL 06 and NHL 2K6. The best way I can describe them is that 06 is the best game when it comes to graphics, sound and multiplayer. NHL 2K6 is awesome if you are into sim hockey and a game packed with features. NHL 06 is the best hockey game EA has put out in awhile but it's a bit too arcade-ish for my likes and the hitting is all too easy. On 2k6 I can actually have a realistic game and scores that vary (i win a game 5-2, i lose the next one in overtime, i win a close one, get blown out, etc) Right now i'm in the 2nd year of my dynasy with the Oilers. I traded guys away like Ryan Smyth and draft picks to get some good players. 1st line: Rick Nash, Danny Briere, Ales Hemsky 2nd line: Moreau, Staal, Dvorak 3rd line: Rita, Horcoff, Pisani 4th line: Peterson, Reasoner, Mettinen defenders: Smith, Staios, Hulse, Bergeron, Gill, Semenov goalies: Fleury and Shields The thing i liked is that i simmed the first season and loaded up on a head coach. It cost me so much money that i ended up having no money for other coaches and staff so my offense sucked dry and I finished 3rd last in the league. This is probably the only game I play now on xbox.

Luger had the funniest DOOOOSHes.

Is there video footage of this anywhere? I keep hearing about it and never actually saw the incident.

ccording to ESPN's Peter Gammons, the Diamondbacks and Blue Jays are on the verge of completing a trade that would send Troy Glaus and a prospect to Toronto in exchange for pitcher Miguel Batista and second baseman Orlando Hudson. But late Thursday night, Jays general manager J.P. Ricciardi insisted to the Toronto Star that Glaus was not coming to Toronto. "We had interest in him at one time, but nothing's going to happen with that now," Ricciardi told the newspaper. "It's not going to happen with us."

I like U2 but Bono should not get that award thank you very much.

Anytime Cherry slams the french, it's a good thing. Wish the referendum of 92 would have actually happened.

I may be dreaming but the Edmonton Oilers are now in a tie for first place in their division. Never would have thought it after they lost 7 straight at the beginning of the year.

*Crosses fingers that Ryan Smyth is announced for the team*

It's a really exciting time to be an Oilers fan right now. This team can also be so much better which is the scary part. Some questionable defense (Cross, Ulanov) and sub-par goaltending have this team out of first right now. The Oilers need to make a trade for goaltending right now. One possible guy is Ryan Miller. I just don't see how that guy stays on with the Sabres after what Biron has done lately.

did anyone pick Tim White? (lol)

If you stayed up for the late game on HNIC, you got a treat. Awesome game by both teams. Canucks went up 2-0 early, Oilers tied it. Canucks went up 4-2 in the third but the Oilers tied it. Oilers win it in overtime on a goal by Mike Peca. Just awesome end to end action tonight.
-
If tonight wasn't any indication that Ottawa is the scariest team in the league, I don't know what is.

How about when Vader broke Thurmans back? That was a complete squash

Oilers rallied in the 3rd and took it 5-3 over the Habs. I had nightmares of a 3rd straight shootout loss until the pp goal with a buck and a half left.

That has to win the award for quote of 2005.

Luger back in jail [email protected] Lex Luger's legal woes continue as the 47-year-old wrestler is currently in Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis. Lawrence Pfohl is being held without bail with a court appearance scheduled on the 22nd on two felonies, a drug charge from the state of Georgia and a fugitive from justice charge stemming from that same original charge. Pfohl and Marcus Bagwell were taken off an airpline in Minneapolis on the way to a wrestling date in Winnipeg on Tuesday due to a disturbance. Both were allowed to get on a later flight. Both wrestlers, along with Scott Rechsteiner, were detained for a long period (between 90 minutes and three hours) at the border before Bagwell and Rechsteiner were allowed to enter the country. Pfohl was sent back, likely because they discovered the outstanding warrant, and arrested after he arrived in Minneapolis. Pfhol has faced one legal problem after another since the folding of WCW, between DUI arrests, drugs like steroids and Growth Hormone found at his home when Elizabeth Hulette passed away, and he spent a lengthy period of time in jail in Atlanta due to nonpayment of child support. "Mr.Luger, Mr.Luger where are the drugs"? "I DON'T KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW"
