What if, during the height of the Monday Night War, Eric Bischoff and Vince McMahon decided to pit their best of the best together in the ultimate team-gimmick match, War Games? Who would represent each promotion, and who would you book to win? For added bonus, what would the undercard look like? I just got this idea from watching War Games at WrestleWar '92, Sting's Squadron vs. The Dangerous Alliance. My Card: Note: This is booked as all dispositions dropped, ie: WCW is deemed as heels by WWF, and vice versa. Kind of like point-counter-point. Could also have an announcer representing each promotion, to root for their talent. War Games Match: Given the ever changing War Games rules, I would make it a survivor match, ala the Survivor Series as well as the timed entrances, no DQ, etc. WCW: Hollywood Hogan, Goldberg, Lex Luger, Sting, and Ric Flair WWF: The Rock, Steve Austin, Triple H, Mankind, The Undertaker Outcome: WWF, simply because of its younger group, which would have to carry Luger and Hogan. Undercard: Ken Shamrock vs. Chris Benoit New Age Outlaws and Edge and Christian vs. The Steiners and Harlem Heat Al Snow vs. Raven The Giant vs. Kane

Since when is "JR" a RAW SUPERSTAR? "Have you ever thought of an angle where you are mysteriously shot? The prime-time soap opera "Dallas" got very high ratings when they tried such a storyline. Everyone would be tuning in to RAW find out "Who shot J.R.!?". And I'm sure it'd be better than the whole Hummer or David Flair/Miss Hancock "Who's my baby's daddy???" angles in WCW... Right?"

Of all the gimmick matches showcased in professional wrestling, what's yours and what's a perfect example? From Scaffold Matches to Ultimate Submission, there are plenty to choose from. Personally, I think I enjoy a good old ladder match. The first one I saw was Michaels/Ramon II on a Shawn Michaels Highlight Colliseum Video.

Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels Shawn Michaels, the only thing Hogan would gain is more exposure for his show. WWE Champion John Cena © vs. Chris Jericho Cena, anyone smart can see that a mile away. No Holds Barred World Champion Batista vs. JBL Batista, JBL needs to go away. Matt Hardy vs. Edge Hardy possibly? Edge may or may not have that title shot to elevate him back up if needed, who knows anymore? Undertaker vs. Randy Orton Orton, he needs a pick me up. No Time Limit Eugene vs. Kurt Angle I really want Dinsmore to come out and put on a wrestling clinic with Angle, that would make putting up with Eugene worth every dime. Ladder Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero Draw, so we can have a Solomon-esque Dominic-sawed-in-half moment US Champion Orlando Jordan vs. Chris Benoit Benoit, to restore some credibility.

That "Adam Copeland vs. Matthew Hardy" (I'm shootin'!) promo got annoying real quick. I didn't wanna see Adam and Amy making out the first times, let alone over some crappy nu-metal music.
